So...let's just say, your visor is broken. And you are blind now

Your situation was kinda hopeless, even JCjenson themselves couldn't fix you

None of the squad members had enough experience or knowledge to fix you, the company never taught them that.
Not gonna lie, V and J really pitied you, N was in full-on panic mode trying to think of something

You eventually calmed him down tryna tell him that it's not as bad as it seems, you could probably get used to it and use your other senses to hunt your preys

by time, you managed to deal with it and still be useful, just not as much as before..

N was still feeling bad about it but he was at least relieved you didnt let it affect yourself and your mental stat, your charisma and bravery were one of the things he loved about you, unknown to you though.

He was still a bit protective though, trying his best to always stay with you even though you think you're doing fine.

But honestly you didnt complain because you loved having him around, you loved him alot actually, but you weren't sure if he would ever feel the same way, would he?..

you always told yourself Nahh.. hes just being friendly, you dont think he likes you that way, so you kept it to yourself....

You were now sitting on top of the corpse house, crushing the head of a worker drone you killed earlier and drinking the oil spilling from it. Feeling the cold breeze hitting you while doing so.

You shook the metallic head,expecting more oil but it ran out. You sighed in disappointment,the storm cold wind was dying down,meaning that the sun will come out soon and you weren't able to kill enough workers today,you were still hungry..

You then felt something landing beside you. A soothing and perky familiar voice could be heard "Heyy..! Y/n!"

"Hiya N,did you need anything?"
You asked, looking at the side where you hear him stepping closer and sitting next to you.

"Not really-..just wanted to hang out! A-also.." his voice is softening, he placed something on your lap "I saw you struggling with killing today, so I thought I'd bring you one of my kills!" He exclaimed

You held the fully oiled corpse.you smiled before chuckling "what would I do without you?"

you bit down on the corpse and started drinking its oil, Then you both sat in silence.

Then You both spoke at the same time:

N: "so I was thinking lately-"
Y/n: "we should probably head insi-"

Then you both paused, "sorry- What were you saying?" You asked

"N-NOTHING!!! NOTHING AT ALL!!" He blurted out, chuckling awkwardly. You couldnt see it but he was blushing immensely

You both headed inside the corpse house and switched to sleep mode

Next day(er- night) you were woken up by a loud shooting sound, you fell face-first on the snow. And groaned in annoyance. You then heard the sound of N introducing himself to someone. You decided to follow his voice and see what's going on.

That's when you met Uzi!

Things happened. and N broke into the colony then regretted it and rebelled with uzi yadda yadda yadda. You decided to rebel with them cuz yes

You and N faced V.

..you were struggling-

V threw you onto one of the metal crane boxes, you heard the sound of N encouraging you to keep going. You aimed your missile cannon to the air And-

*bubble sound*

"..did I do it?? Did i shoot her!?" You asked, unknown to you that small heart bubbles came out from the weapon. Something you didnt mean to do but happened automatically due to N's voice comforting you.

V stared in confusion. N got the chance and attacked. Sending her to the ground. J seems to have been shot by Uzi's railgun

(Alright we all know what happened Let's fast forward already-)

You were in the landing pod with Uzi. V was busy playing with her bubble blower. Still chained up. At least it keeps her busy..oh, and N was outside.

"wait- so you guys arent dating?" Uzi asked, slightly surprised

"Wh-What makes you think we were?" You simply answered, feeling kinda flustered

" I don't know, I just got that vibe-...what do you think of him, anyway?"

"..well- ok I'll admit. I do like him in that way, but I dont think he feels that way towards me"

Uzi scoffed jokingly "Y/n. For the love of motherboards. he literally acts like a fricking love-sick puppy around you"

"I dunno.. maybe he's just being kind and caring, as a friend, yknow. That's kinda his whole personality. I dont wanna ruin our friendship in case he didnt feel the same way..." you mumbled

You're starting to remind Uzi of those Anime protagonists that someone is always head over heels for them but they are ridiculously oblivious to it.

Later that day, uzi went out to find spare parts for her sick as hell railgun"™" , you were sitting against the corpse house wall, cuddling with N. You and him usually cuddle, wouldn't be a big deal for you, your brain would be like "aww platonic cuddles!"

While his CPU would be overheating from how close you two would be.

He was silent today, like he was in deep thought. But he eventually spoke up "y'know...I really like being close to you like this!" He exclaimed, trying to give you a hint, you replied with "aww same! I like cuddling, it's relaxing"

Well, that didn't work..he tried to think of anything else, but all his ideas are either too forward, or he has tried them before and didn't work, in a situation like this he would just give up and realize that you don't like him back, but why would you be so nice to him if that was the case..? You were always an honest person, so he thought you would tell him if you got the hint that you in fact do not like him the same way he does..

after a few minutes, he pulled away from you so that he would be facing you. You tilted your head to the side in a curious manner. He fiddled with his fingers, trying to gather his courage. You couldn't see his nervous face, but you could feel the tension rising.

"What's wrong..?" You asked, worried that you've done something wrong

'ok I can do this I can do this just spit it out already-'

He took a very deep breath, and started talking "w-well..its just that..uh......"

He gulped. Did he really want to do this? He knew their friendship wouldn't be the same after, it could go wrong and you would stop talking to him, leaving him alone like he was before...

You placed a hand on his shoulder. Giving him a reassuring smile "hey, you can tell me anything. It's okay, I'll listen"

Your soothing words gave him a comfort boost. He loosened up and sighed

"...okay, so theres something that's been on my mind lately, I've wanted to tell you this for a while....I've been trying to drop hints here and there, but nothing worked, so...I'm just gonna come up and say it already."

You nodded, listening closely

"..listen, I..I like you, like-...like like you, romantically. more than a friend...b-but Its okay if you don't feel the same!!" he finally confessed.

...oh!

You did not expect this at all, if your visor wasnt broken you'd be blushing a ton right now. Looks like Uzi was right after all...and you were feeling really stupid for not realizing N's hints all this time

Your hand that was on his shoulder traveled down to his hand. And held it tightly, you smiled at him "I love you too"

"Its okay...I didnt expect you to like me anywa- YOU WHAT??" he suddenly blurted out, his eyes sparkling as he now held both of your hands. Eager to hear those three words again

You giggled at his reaction, and repeated yourself "I said I love you, goof. I really mean it, I'm sorry for not realizing that earlier..i guess I was just-" he suddenly pulled you in a tight yet gentle hug and nuzzled you lovingly, you smiled and hugged him back.

When you both pulled away you gave him a quick peck on the lips, oh how you wish you could see his surprised and flustered face after you've done that.

"ABOUT FRICKING TIME!!!!" Uzi yelled from a distance

"I- HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN HERE??" -N
