Summary: You and Milo attend the same university and share a class.
Kinda trying a new style with this one, can't tell if I like it or not.

Milo fidgeted in his seat uncomfortably staring at the entrance to the library. Immediately at the beginning of the semester, he began developing an interest in a classmate, which eventually turned into a full blown crush.
It started off small at first. He noticed them more than anyone else in the class, and listened intently on the rare occasion they participated in a group discussion. Milo knew they were extremely intelligent based off those few moments. He loved watching their reactions to their professor's animated lectures, watching from afar on the opposite side of the hall. Milo found out their name, (Y/N), which he thought was a nice name. He began clinging onto small conversations he'd overhear with them and taking an interest in what they mentioned.
Then, one day Milo realized it was much more than just a desire for friendship. He began getting nervous before their shared class and found himself fixing his appearance more than usual. He had only spoken to them a handful of times, and it was very surface level, usually discussing school. Milo knew it was silly to be so intrigued by someone he barely speaks to, but he couldn't help it.
He mentioned his feelings to a friend, who advised him to get to know (Y/N) better. He desperately wanted to, but could never find the right opportunity or the courage to talk to them. Until recently, which was why he was so on edge.
Last time the class met, their professor began an assigned partner project. Milo ended up being paired with (Y/N), and when he learned this, went through every emotion possible. He was excited to have an opportunity to spend time with them especially since it was a rather large project, but terrified to embarrass himself.
They agreed to meet at the school library over the weekend to continue, which is where Milo was currently waiting. Luckily he had gotten to know (Y/N) a little more, and they definitely considered each other friends now.
Finally, (Y/N) walked through the library entrance, locating Milo and sitting down with him. They frantically apologized for being late, which Milo frantically forgave them for.
They quickly settled in and began working, and their project was coming together well. They had their usual discussions about school and some small glimpses into each others more personal lives. Milo liked those the most, because he felt like he was getting to know (Y/N) on a deeper level.
After an hour or two of working, Milo suggested a break. (Y/N) agreed and they both set their work aside for a while. They continued their previous conversations, and somehow reached the topic Milo was terrified of: relationships. He had very few romantic encounters due to his focus on academics, which made him a little embarrassed.
(Y/N) mentioned some of their past relationships which made Milo feel better as they seemed to be in the same boat. He discovered they weren't in a relationship currently, giving Milo more hope. He really liked (Y/N), and in a moment of panic, somehow managed to get the confidence to grab their hand under the table. (Y/N) became a little flustered, but leaned closer to Milo after the initial shock wore off. Riding the new wave of confidence, Milo asked (Y/N) out on a date.

Really don't think I like this writing style but we'll see what happens.
