On top of the cliff, a bit away from the edge, stands Y/N and Tyran. Y/N is now fully healed that the wolfsbane is gone from her system, and her healing ability can kick in. She holding a shovel while looking down at the gravestone in front of them:

'Here lies Lillian Malters. Loving Mother and Grandmother. May she rest in peace

Tyran wipes his tears, putting down a bunch of flowers on top of her grave, before backing away a little. The book Lillian gave him, clutched tightly in his grasp. Y/N steps forward placing down the wooden spoon.

"She was always holding it, only write she dies with it," Y/N says, trying to lighten up the mood a little, but is sad. "And it'll feel wrong if I use it." She puts her hand on Tyran's shoulder, who is quick to hug her, quietly crying.

"P-Please don't leave me too..." He whispers, but Y/N hears it and she nods.

"Of course, I'll never leave you."

As again, the days turned to weeks, the weeks turned to months and the months turned into years. The now smaller family still live in the house, things going back to normal but still a piece of them all gone with Lillian. Her bedroom was untouched and kept shut, her seat left pulled out and her favourite teacup left on the table in her spot. The two moved on yes, but they never forgot, always relishing in the memories of her, even though for Y/N it was only a short time, but she still got attached to the woman.

As the years flew by, as did Tyran's 16th birthday, the day he and Y/N will leave the village and seek their adventures out. The day Tyran will live a tale he'll tell his grandmother one day.

5 Years Later

A now 15-year-old Tyran sits on a log, his book in hand and a pencil, as he sketched the flower that stands untouched in front of him. He smiles at his artwork, before standing up and grabbing his other book out of his bag, looking for the drawing of the flower he just did and seeing a bunch of information on it. He marks the page before putting the book back in his bag as he begins walking away. However, he doesn't notice the flower slowly shrivelling up as he does so.

He breaks through the forest line and walks over the bridge he's been over many many times. He looks down at the once full lake to now see it barely full, just small puddles. He looks at it in confusion before walking into the village.

"Hey did you hear about the lake? It's nearly dry as a bone." A woman whispers to someone.

"Yeah, but what about the fruits. Those are becoming rotten." They whisper back. He walks through the village, hearing constant whispers about how the well in the water became contaminated with a bug, or how the crops won't grow or even a small sickness making its way around the village, nothing too deadly luckily. He grows concerned before entering his home, seeing his adoptive mother sitting at the table, her hands in her head.

"Mama, are you okay?" He asks. She looks at him, before nodding.

"Of course I am. Just tired." She says, smiling at him. He nods, places his bag on the table, sits down and pulls his books out, and begins copying information over to his book about the flower he drew. "You know that's gonna be filled up by the time we head off."

"It's only a few months away, you can get me a new book by then it needs to be."

"But that's the one your grandmother gave you," Y/N says. Tyran frowns, nodding.

"I know, which is why I'll leave her this one to keep her going till I come back with a new full one!" Tyran says, changing his frown into a smile. Y/N copies the smile, nodding.

"I'm sure she'll like that very much." The two sit in a calming silence, nothing but the scribbling of Tyran's pencil and the occasional flipping of pages. Tyran then looks to Y/N.

"Do you know what's going on with the water and the crops?" He asks. Y/N looks to him, confused.

"What?"

"People were talking about how the crops aren't growing and if they do the food is rotten, and when I was walking over the bridge, the lake is nearly dry as a bone." Y/N frowns at the new information.

"I-I have no idea." She says.

"Mama, could it be your cu-." Tyran cuts himself off, unsure of what to say. Y/N sighs, shrugging.

"It could be, I don't know. But this is why we gotta leave. Once I'm out of here, then everything will go back to normal...hopefully." Tyran looks back down before smiling.

"On a lighter note, did you hear about Millie's baby?" Y/N shakes her head. "She says it could be due in the next few months or so. It's been a while since there was a baby around her."

"That's lovely to hear, maybe we should bring her some healthy foods to make sure she gets the nutrition she needs for the baby." Tyran nods, standing up.

"Yeah we should! I'll grab some things from the storage and you get a basket." Tyran walks out of the kitchen and walks past Lillian's room, he stops and looks, frowning at the door before placing his hand on it and smiling. "Soon Granny, I'll come back and tell you all about my adventures." He says, heading to the storage. When he comes back, Y/N has a basket.

"I think this should do perfectly." She says. He nods and begins putting the fruits into the basket. Later the two walk over to Millie and her husband, Liam's house. They knock and Liam answers the door, smiling at the two.

"Hello Tyran and Y/N, what are you two doing here?" Tyran holds out the basket of fruits to him, smiling.

"These are for Millie and the baby, we've heard about all the fruit being rotten and stuff, and we had some spare fresh fruit and decided to give her them." Liam smiles at the two, welcoming them into his house. They walk into the kitchen where a pregnant Millie is sitting, drinking tea.

"Honey look what these two gave you." He puts the basket on the table and Millie smiles, looking to Y/N and Tyran.

"This is very kind of you two, even after everything that happened all those years ago, yous till forgave us?"

"Of course, you were scared and didn't know what to do. I understand fully." Y/N says, smiling at her. "We're no staying for long, just popping by to give you that and to wish you a very well pregnancy."

"What are you going to name them?" Tyran asks. Y/N looks at him.

"We need to get going Tyran, we want her to relax."

"It-it's okay." She looks to Tyran. "Well, we planned that if it's a boy then we'll name him Audric, after Liam's grandfather." This causes Y/N to smile, nodding.

"I'm sure your grandfather will be very happy to hear that, he was a good man which I'm sure this little child will grow into." Liam nods.

"If it's a girl then we'll call her, Lily. After your grandmother." Liam says, looking at Tyran, whose eyes widen and small tears well up. Y/N's eyes widen slightly too but smile. "This is our way of apologizing for not letting you be by her when she passed away, and to remember Lillian by."

"She would have been very honoured, thank you," Y/N says, smiling at the two. The two spend about another hour there, talking with the two before they begin to leave, however when they leave the flower beside the door suddenly wilts and shrivels up.

Tyran and Y/N walk through the village, smiling and laughing as they continue their day as normal. However, a new figure walks into town, a cloak above their head, their gaze watching them.

The rest of the days flew by, and it was getting closer to Tyran's birthday, to which he was already packing for and such. Y/N started wearing the old attire she wore when she first came, writing down places they'll travel to.

However, with the village, everything started getting worse. No crops grew at all, and the rotten foot began becoming something that could poison you. The once drinkable water is now murky and infested with diseases. The days becoming colder and stormier. No flowers grew and the once green forest was now nothing but the skeletons of the trees. It was time for the day to come alright... The day the curse of the Reaper caught up to them all...

2 months later

Y/N clenches her fists as she looks over the bridge, seeing the dead forest, no wildlife nothing. It's truly her fault, everything that's happening is because of her curse...One more day and she'll be gone and the village can live normally again. She walks into the village, everyone looking dull. No laughter of children, no sound of the once-bustling streets of the village, just quietness.

"Did you hear about Millie?" A woman whispers to her friend, catching Y/N's attention.

"Yeah she's caught a sickness, they don't think she'll survive childbirth."

"What an awful thing to happen. What could have caused all of this." Y/N walks past all the whispers, making it to the house and slamming the door shut. She makes her way to the kitchen, reaching into the bottom cabinet and pulling out a bottle of ale, taking the top off and she begins drinking it.

About an hour or so later, Tyran comes back home to see his mama on the floor with the bottle in hand, leaning against the cabinet. He frowns at her and places his bag on the table, crouching down beside her. He grabs the bottle from her grasp, and she tries to reach for it but fails.

"What are you doing mama, why are you drinking?"

"Everything's getting worse, kid, everything. Millie's gotten a sickness and they don't think she'll live...she's done nothing wrong yet she got caught up in my curse...It's only about time it'll catch up to you too." She says, shaking her head, gripping her head.

"But I'm still here, we're gonna be fine okay. We'll be gone by tomorrow and everything will go back to normal mama, I know it. Everything's gonna be okay." Y/N looks up to the boy, sniffing.

"When did you get so mature." She jokes.

"Since you started becoming childish." He replies, chuckling.

"Hey, jumping on the table and singing into a broom isn't childish." She says, laughing. The two laughs before Y/N pulls him in for a hug. "You're a good kid, I'm glad to call you my son."

"And I'm glad to call you my mother." He says, Tyran relaxes in his mother's embrace, nuzzling his face into her shoulder while Y/N rests her head against his.

The day goes by as a normal day, Y/N and a few others heading to the next town to get some food and fresh water to bring back for the village and they hold out. The day slowly begins getting darker...which is when everything starts.

--- Okay before reading this I will but a warning for a Stillborn baby, so please do not read this bit, I will put a black message when you can skip to---

Tyran and Y/N are sitting at the kitchen table, Y/N quizzing him on the different types of flowers he learned, the two laugh and joking when they suddenly hear yelling. They leave the house and Y/N stops someone.

"What's happening?" She asks.

"Millie! She's in labour right now!" They reply. Tyran and Y/N share a look before rushing off to the chief's house, leaving their door open for a hooded figure to walk in. A crowd forms around the house where screams of pain could be heard from inside. Y/N pushes to the front.

"Okay everyone I think everyone needs to go home and give Millie some space. You'll hear of the news tomorrow-" Y/N is cut off by the screaming inside of the house suddenly stopping, and what's worse...no sound of a baby crying. Instead, a loud cry is heard from within the house. Y/N sniffs... so much blood, no much...death. Tyran looks to his mother who looks down at him and shakes her head, he frowns. Everyone stay silent, knowing what the pained scream was. The door to the house opens and Liam exits, his eyes puffy and holding a swaddled blanket covering that of his deceased child.

"I-It was a baby girl..." He says, frowning down at the baby. "Baby lily..."

"What of Millie?" Tyran asks. Liam remains quiet, passing his daughter to the midwife, who brought her back in.

"It was the sickness that took both my wife and daughter. Whatever this vile curse was, it will take away more." Liam says teeth gritted. Y/N's breathing stopped for a second, but Tyran grabs her hand.

------You can read now, this part will only mention the death and not give any description of the baby------

"And I know who set the curse on this village." A voice says. The crows opens up to show the cloaked figure, who walks up to Liam. He holds what looks to be a leather covered journal.

"And how could you possibly know that." Liam asks, looking to the cloaked figure.

"Because it's the same person who got here when everything started going bad." The figure pulls down the hood, showing an older Jake. Y/N growls while Tyran looks to him anger.

"What are you doing here! Audric kicked you out years ago!"

"I don't have time to deal with you! My grandfather kicked you out because you attacked these two." Liam shouts, "For all I know it could have been you who did something to my wife just to blame it on Y/N again."

"I though you'd say that, so I have proof that it was in fact Y/N here who set the curse." Y/N's eyes widen as Jake holds up a book, opening it up to a page. He passes it to Liam, who looks at it in confusion before taking it and reading it, his eyes widen the more he reads. He looks from the book to Y/N.

"I-It's can't be... You can't be that..." Liam says, Y/N looks at him wide eyed. Tyran sees the front of the book and sees his name on the front...It's his journal...And he knows exactly what Jake had found and what he showed Liam. Tyran tries to grab the book from Jake but is unsuccessful.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is Tyran Hendrix's journal! And here it reads, 'Today I met the Reaper'" People already gasp at the name, but Jake continues. "'She tells me of her story, about how she's cursed. I don't understand why she herself calls herself that, even though she already has a completely normal name, Y/N.'"

"I-I..." Y/N stutters.

"That can't be right, the Reaper is said to be an old lady, Y/N here looks like she's 20. And besides there can be more than one Y/N." One of the villagers say.

"Now that I think of it, everything bad was happening once she got here, Lillian died, Audric died, Liam's father died, the crops began decaying the water being undrinkable. And now this. I mean it fits with the legend." Another villager says. Liam turns to the woman who begins backing away, her hand letting go of Tyran's.

"You."

"It's not her fault she was cursed! She never asked for any of this! And besides we're leaving tomorrow so everything will go back to normal." Jake watches with a smirk. Liam continues to advance on Y/N, all while she walks backwards away form him.

"After everything my grandfather said about you, he told me nothing but good things about you. We looked past you being a Beastmen but we can't look past this. You really are a monster, so much we kicked out our own people so that a disease like yourself could live here!" The dark sky begins roaring with thunder, as it begins pelting down with rain. People begin grabbing anything they could use as a weapon. They begin pushing her back before she looks to Tyran with a sad expression, mouthing.

"I'm sorry."  She turns into her wolf form and growls at the townspeople, snarling and clawing at their weapons. They throw anything sharp at the wolf before it runs away and into the forest. The townspeople yell at her and threaten her to neve come back.

"Mama! Wait come back!" Tyran shouts, not hesitation to chases after her into the forest. It's dark but yet his legs take him to where he needs to be. Deep down he knows where she's going. The rain pours down more and more, drenching the boy as he makes it to the dangerous climb, now even more dangerous. He looks up and gulps bus none the less he begins his climb, his fingers claw at the rocks to keep his hold against the wet rocks but none the less he makes his way up. He gets to the top and heavily breaths, but sighs in relief that he's made it up. "Mama! Mama re you here! You don't need to be scared, it's just me mama!" He calls. He hears whimpering inside the cave and walks in, seeing his mother inside. "Come on mama we need to leave now, we'll head back and get ou-"

"Leave." She says. Tyran looks to her with shock.

"W-What?"

"Leave before I hurt you." She says.

"Your not gonna to hurt me." She stands up, turning to face him with a snarl.

"Didn't you hear then! I'm a walking disease, it's only time I'll infect you do!" She says, walking towards him, all while he steps back. They go out the cave, Y/N growling at him. "Just leave me alone, Tyran! You don't deserve me as a mother! You deserve a normal life, with a normal human being as a mother!" She shouts, getting in his face.

"B-but I don't want a normal life, I want to spend it with you mama." Tyran says, starting to cry. "You promised never to leave me mama!"

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!" Y/N shouts, closing her eyes, she startles Tyran which causes the boy to slip...Unknowing to the two, during their heated moment they got close to the edge of the cliff. Y/N opens her eyes when he hears Tyran's yell and goes to reach her hand to catch him, just like she did all those years ago, her fingers touch his and...he slips through them...

She freezes as time seems to slow, as she watches the boy she sees as a son fall down the large mountain, something she had nightmares of happening every time he come up the mountain alone. She jumps after him, her hand outstretched trying to grab a hold of his hand. Time speeds back up as he two fall through the air... The rain slowly comes to a stop, the clouds disappearing as the night sky full of stars appear.

There's not many things that can haunt Y/N, but that one sound, that one sound that she's heard hundreds of times will haunt her for the rest of her immortal life...The sound of bones cracking and a large thud, as Tyran's body hits the floor. Y/N's body follows seconds later, landing away from Tyran, however she it quick to get up, wobblily but still gets up as she stumbles over to Tyran, tears in her eyes as she falls to her knees, crouching besides the broken boy and she cradles him gently.

"T-Tyran baby, I've got you, okay, mama's got you. Your going to be okay." Y/N says, looking down at him. He slowly opens his eyes, smiling when he sees his mother. "W-Why are you smiling! You shouldn't be smiling at this!"

"I-I'm smiling, because I get to die in the arms of my mother...I never thought I get to..." He says, weakly.

"Why aren't you scared, or at least cry! You don't have to stay strong Tyran! You're allowed to cry!" Y/N says, tears falling down her cheeks,
