attacked her, she has every right to fight to protect herself." Audric shouts. "You know I expected better from you Agnes, I understood your son's behaviour but yours!" He looks to the men, angry. "Give me the boy." He holds his hand out to Tyran, who the man lets go and Tyran goes to Audric, who puts Tyran behind him." Now I'll say it again, I demand you to let Y/N go." Agnes walks over to Y/N, who weakly looks up to her. Agnes grabs her by her chin before smirking, putting her hand in her pocket and grabbing some wolfsbane dust, blowing it into her face.

"Let her go," Agnes says to the man holding her chain. He nods, letting her go. Y/N once again falls to her hands and knees, holding her head as the wolfsbane affects her.

"What did you do to her!" Tyran shouts, going to jump forwards to help Y/N, only to be stopped by Audric.

"What was that you blew in her face." He asks.

"It was wolfsbane, you know, the thing that affects only werewolves like this." She gestures to Y/N. "It proves that she's a Beastmen." The crowd surrounding them gasped again at the information.

"She's the beast?"

"But she's helping all of us."

"What do we do with her now?"

"We need to kill her."

Everyone begins whispering to each other before people begin yelling at her, shouting threats to the woman they once believed to have been a friend. Y/N begins growling, clawing at her head before she poofs into her wolf form, snarling and growling at everyone. Everyone screams and they begin to run away, as Y/N goes to attack one of the men, only for another to grab a hold of the chain again, pulling her back.

"See! She's nothing but a wild beast! A killer!" He shouts. One of the 3 men then kicks Y/N in the stomach, causing her to fall to the ground whining. "But at last the wolfsbane makes her weak. Please, everyone, do your village a favour, and kill the beast!" The townspeople, look hesitant before some grab rocks and begin throwing them at Y/N.

"Protect your families! Your friends! From this beast!" Agnes shouts as she and Jake throw rocks at Y/N. Audric is frozen at the new information.

"Stop! She hasn't hurt anyone!" Tyran shouts, running in the centre to cover the injured wolf, himself getting rocks hitting off him. He yells in pain every time one hits him, but he doesn't care.

He'll protect his mama just like she had with him. Y/N however opens her eyes, seeing Tyran crying in pain yet not moving from protecting her. She shakily stands up, causing everyone to panic yet not stop throwing rocks at her. She used her large body to cover what she can of Tyran, making sure to get the rocks to hit her rather than Tyran. Audric looks at the scene, his eyes widening...She may be a beast, but she is just like any other human. Any other mother, protecting their child from harm...

"Stop! Everyone I demand you to stop!" Audric shouts, causing everyone to freeze. They turn to him.

"W-What are you doing?! Quick, keep going till she's dead or she'll kill us all!" Agnes stutters. Everyone looks to Audric, who walks over to Tyran and Y/N. The wolf looks up to the elder man with half-lidded eyes, he smiles softly at her, patting her on the head.

"You truly don't mean any harm to us. We're sorry." He says. Y/N poofs into human form, her arms now wrapped around Tyran tightly, pulling him into her chest. She weakly smiles up at Audric.

"T-Thank you for saving him..." She says, looking down at Tyran. This causes Audric to be shocked again, she doesn't care about herself and only Tyran, she'd happily cover Tyran and get injured heavily than him getting the worst. Audric turns to the townspeople.

"Can't you see! She's just like any of us!" He says. "She's helped us feed our young by going out to pick fruit or farm, she travels to the different villages to get food for us when we run low. She helps out men plough the fields, grab water from the well and build. She's helped our women cook, teach them ways to grow the plant themselves and look after our young. Mothers, look to your children! Wouldn't you do anything to protect them?" He gestures to Y/N and Tyran. "Even if it means covering them from stones being thrown at them, and you instead of getting hit."

"B-But she's a beast!" Agnes shouts.

"Yes! She may be what you call a beast! But she is as much human as you are..."The townspeople look to one another, before dropping the stones. They all look to Tyran and Y/N with sorrow, guilty for what they've done. Audric looks to the 3 men. "I want you three out of my village right now, and take those two with you." He points to Agnes and Jake, who looked shocked.

"B-But where will we go?!" Agnes questions.

"Anywhere but here! I'll let you get your things before leaving." Y/N shakily stands up, Tyran helping her as she limps. The crowd part to let them past as they walk slowly back to their home.

They open the door, the home cold and dull. Y/N leans against the wall, while Tyran rushes off to the kitchen to get supplies to help Y/N. She slowly makes her way to Lillian's room, using the wall to help her. She slowly walks in, seeing no lights on and thinks she's sleeping. She walks over to the chair, sitting down.

"I'm back Lillian, told you I'd be back...I mean I had was bringing back a cake but I kinda, uhm dropped it...Got into a little bit of a fight, but I'm fine now... They know that I'm a Beastmen now, now the Reaper. Thankfully... But they accept me, and Agnes and Jake are getting kicked out...I think everything's gonna be okay now." She sees the open book on Lillian's lap. "Guess you've told him huh, wonder how he took it. I'll look after him, Lily, I pro-" Y/N goes to hold her hand, only to freeze and her breath stops, she can sense it...No heartbeat...

She looks at Lillian with her mouth ajar, struggling for words before she begins to quietly weep, upset and angry that she and Tyran weren't beside her when she died, that she had to die alone. She looks to her face, seeing a small smile on her face. Deep down Y/N knew that Lillian didn't mind dying without them beside her because she knew that it was best to pass away without herself and Tyran seeing her do so.

"I've got some bandaged and a cloth for yo-" Tyran stops in his tracks, Y/N looks to him and he sees her teary expression, knowing what's happened. He drops the things in his hands and begins screaming and crying.

"No, no no NO. GRANNY!" He cries out. In the open book, the first page reads:

"Carry the bear, then you'll carry my spirit. I'll always be with you, forever and always."

...Welp, tears anyone? Also, I know it may seem rushed, I may fix it one day but we'll just see how it goes! Also, I didn't want this to last forever so I'm jumping forward a lot just to get major moments in and whatnot.
