𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚍𝚒𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚌𝚞𝚕𝚝 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚖𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚠𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚎. 𝙸 𝚠𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚎 𝚒𝚝 𝚖𝚞𝚕𝚝𝚒𝚙𝚕𝚎 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝙸'𝚖 𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚘𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚢 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚑𝚘𝚠 𝚒𝚝 𝚌𝚊𝚖𝚎 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚒 𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚑𝚘𝚙𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚎𝚗𝚓𝚘𝚢.

Day of the conflict

Music played softly in the background while (l/n)(y/n) sat looking at herself in her bedroom mirror, humming along to her favourite song. She had her (h/c) hair tied up and wore a black uniform with a sliver lizard design printed on the back. Her arm was still wrapped in bandages and she couldn't use it yet, especially not to fight.

The fight was to happen in an old, rundown parking lot and it was to start at midday. Thinking about it made her hands tremble and her heart race, (y/n) couldn't wait. She'd been waiting since her sisters death and now she could finally get her revenge.

She wanted to meet with the rest of the black lizards before the fight began and so she put on her boots and left her apartment. However, to her surprise, a boy stood just outside the apartment building, he wore a white jacket and had a familiar fluffy black hair. A smile spread across (y/n)'s face as she ran towards him "Koko~"

He couldn't help but smile at the sight, though he wasnt expecting the girl to pounce on him and pull him into a tight hug. "Hey (y/n)" he said with a soft smile on his face and rubbed the top of her head.

"What are you doing here? Don't you need to prepare or something" the (h/c) haired girl asked and released him from the hug.

"I- um" Kokonoi stuttered and stumbled on his words a little. His voice was different to when he used to say his usual snarky comments and jokes, he seemed reluctant to say the words that he intended to say. "You're not really going to kill Taiju right?"

"What?" (Y/n) was dumbfounded. Why wouldn't she kill Taiju? It's what she had most wanted since she became the leader of the black lizard.

Kokonoi sighed "I don't think you should (y/n)," She stayed silent and waited for him it elaborate. "If you kill him it won't do anything, it won't bring your sister back, it won't give you comfort. You'll regret it." To be truthful Kokonoi had realised that she was actually a really kind girl, killing someone didn't seem like something she'd do. Had she been blinded by anger? Possibly, she could just be upset and not know how to handle it.

"Why are you trying to talk me out of it? I thought you were my friend Koko I-"

"I am your friend that's why I'm trying to stop you" Kokonoi cut her off mid sentence and gently held her face with both of his hands placed on her cheeks "(y/n) listen, you could just beat the shit out of him and let the cops deal with it" another reason he didn't want her to kill Taiju was because if she did she'd be locked up for a long time and -as much as Kokonoi hated to admit it- he'd grown to really like her, he hadn't known her long but her smile made him happy and there was a sense of familiarity when he was with her.

"But if I do that, will it be enough?" (Y/n) put her hands over Kokonoi's and pushed them down, away from her face and then bit her bottom lip in thought, she pondered her options "will it be enough atonement?"

"It will" Kokonoi gripped her hands "I promise."

"Okay, then I won't kill Taiju, that's a promise," she smiled at Kokonoi and he let out a sigh of relief and released her shoulders. "Well I should be going and you probably should too"

"Right" he gave a small wave and began to walk away.

"Hey Koko" (y/n) called out and Kokonoi stopped and turned "don't get hurt to bad okay? It would be a shame because I like you, you know" she smiled at him and he looked at her, a little shocked but that expression quickly changed to a smile to match hers.

"You too" he continued walking, that was the last time the two would see each other until the conflict in only a few hours.

A large group of girls stood in the centre of the old, abandoned library and their leader stood atop some stairs with a cold expression on her face.

"Don't let me down" (y/n)'s voice was uncharacteristically bitter and harsh. The girl before her looked brave and strong but beneath that was fear and terror, partially at the thought of fighting the gang they were formally members of and partially at their leader. She terrified them when she was like this and scared them into doing as she wished, very few of them knew that she hated treating them like this but (y/n) knew that if she didn't they would leave, they wouldn't listen to her.

(Y/n) wasn't Reiko, she couldn't smile in dire situations to give others comfort, she couldn't put her comrades before herself and she couldn't be a good leader. She used her gang for her own revenge and despite what she had told Kokonoi she still intended to kill Taiju, that plan hadn't changed.

"Today we will defeat the black dragons and take down their leader!" The crowed roared and their leader continued "show no mercy!"

Show no mercy

She couldn't lie to herself, she was really worried about Kokonoi, he had to be good at fighting right? At least she hoped so because as much as she hated to admit it the thought of Kokonoi getting badly hurt bothered her.

Since when did she care?

It's not like they'd even been friends for long.

Putting her thoughts aside she raised her fist into the air and with a loud voice she yelled:

"LETS DO THIS"

The Black Lizard and Toman stood opposite the Black Dragons in an old parking lot. As usual with conflicts like this, leaders of other gangs came to watch the fight happen. (Y/n) looked around at the people who came to watch and recognised a few familiar faces, the Haitani brothers being among them. And opposite her was Shiba Taiju with a murderous grin on his face.

Unlike with the bloody Halloween, there was no referee. It was just an all out beat down. Which was just how (y/n) wanted it.

The (h/c) haired gang leader looked at the time on her phone and watched as it changed from 11:59 to 12:00. It was time to begin. "Lets take em down girls!" She looked over at the group of Toman members before quickly adding "and guys!"

And just like that the two groups ran towards each other, a horde gathered around Taiju to try and protect him from the oncoming threat but there was no way a group of measly black dragons would stop (y/n).

(F/n) fought by (y/n)'s side all the way through the crowd to Taiju, he hadn't moved and it appeared he was waiting for her. However as soon as the two go to him he grabbed (f/n) by the head and slammed her straight into the ground "(f/n)!"

(Y/n) kicked Taiju away from her friend and helped her up "damn, that hurt like hell," (f/n)'s face was all covered in her own blood and her head was badly bleeding "I'm good, you go get him."

The (h/c) haired girl charged at Taiju dodging his punches and landing her own hits and kicks on him. Even though she couldn't use one of her arms, she up up a good fight. The two exchanged blows for a moment and no one dared interfere. Finally (y/n) was able to knock down Taiju, he fell to the ground with a loud thud and multiple people gasped that he'd been taken down by what they thought was a weak opponent.

(Y/n) panted lightly trying to regain her breath. As expected Taiju quickly stood back up and had a menacing smile on his face "I thought you'd be weak but I guess what Koko said was true you really do know how to make this fun."

"I could say the same to you, however I expected you to be stronger, holding back in a fight is really no fun at all"

The fighting continued and it seemed fairly even. Toman only brought a few members, the black lizard could handle itself and Mikey knew that. But the real reason he was here wasn't so he could watch the downfall of the black dragons, he didn't want (y/n) to kill Taiju. She was always kind and he didn't want her hatred to ruin her life by getting her locked up.

A few people had stopped fighting each other and were now just watching the two leaders in anticipation to see who was strongest. The (h/c) haired girl swung her foot around and kicked Taiju in the face causing him to take a heavy fall. This time it didn't look like he'd be able to get up so easily.

The fighting continued all around them and everyone who had momentarily stopped fighting, had continued. Because of this, no one appeared to notice (y/n) pull a blade out of her jacket pocket "I said I'd kill youand I fully intend to go through with it despite what I told Koko, I'm sorry Koko but it looks like I can't keep my promise."

As she stepped forward while holding the knife, two people grabbed her by her arms "(y/n)! What are you thinking? You can't do this!" Kokonoi was holder her back by one arm while Mikey held her other arm.

"Let me go!" She struggled against them trying to get away from their grip "I need to kill him, I'll kill him for what he did to Reiko!"

The sudden yelling had drawn everyone's attention and all of the fighting had come to a stop. Some of the black dragons had helped Taiju up off of the ground "that girl's crazy. C'mon boss, let's get out of here."

And with that the black dragons began to leave.

"Fucking coward! Are you seriously running away? Some leader you are backing out of a fight against some 'scrawny girls'! Isn't that what you called us when you murdered my sister?" (Y/n) continued struggling against her friends but they refused to let her go "get off of me he's getting away!"

Everyone else could only watch in shock at the display before them. The usually calm gang leader was going crazy and struggling and fighting against her friends to try and kill someone.

"(Y/n) you need to calm down! We'll let you go if you drop the knife" Mikey spoke calmly despite his friend in a rage beside him. But suddenly her struggling stopped. Kokonoi and Mikey exchanged wary glances at her suddenly become calm "Drop it."

"Fine," and with that (y/n) threw the blade up into the air, her sudden movements caused both Kokonoi and Mikey to release her arms in shock. In one swift movement (y/n) pushed Kokonoi and Mikey away and spun around, lifting her leg up in the air. The sole of her foot met the the hilt of the knife in a strong kick and she sent it flying straight towards Taiju who was unaware for what was happening "fuck you, you son of a bitch."

And in the blink of an eye the knife flew straight into Shiba Taiju's neck and he fell to the ground with a hard thud. Everyone was shocked as a pool of blood quickly formed around his motionless body. (Y/n) had successfully killed Taiju.

"You did it! I don't know wether I should be happy or not," (f/n) said right before she fell to the ground with her own blood pouring down her face from the injury Taiju had given her before "but please, just don't get caught. I don't want to see you get caught by the police"

(F/n) then lost consciousness and her body went limp. A few of the girls surrounded her to check on her but with a sad and scared expression on their faces they told her that (f/n) wasn't breathing and that she was dead. Everyone went silent. Not only had the black dragons lost their leader but (y/n) had also lost her best friend. (Y/n) was so focused on Taiju she failed to notice her friends condition. And now it had cost her her life.
