"Give it all that you've got, King Dedede!" Eijiro exclaims, hardening his arms and getting into battle stance. "Only if you do!" Dedede retorts loudly, gripping his hammer.

DDD ~ EK
"HAMMAH TIME!!!"
"TOTALLY MANLY!!!"

Dedede makes the first move, charging across the room to strike Eijiro first with a pair of swings from his hammer. Eijiro evades both attacks and counters with a lunge forward with his hardened, sharp hand.

Dedede steps to the side and twirls the head of his hammer against Eijiro's side, making him momentarily stumble before regaining his balance and getting back at Dedede with a slash that grazes his beak(??).

Eijiro follows up with an uppercut with his other hand, having to swing lower due to the height difference between him and Dedede.

The latter grunts as his jaw is punched, momentarily struggling to regain his balance before gritting his teeth and with a snarl, he leaps forward and swings his hammer, aiming for Eijiro's legs.

Eijiro steps backwards and evades the attack but gets swept off his feet from a second strike, falling on his rear. Before he could recover and stand back up, Dedede leaps off the ground and bellyflops onto Eijiro, his weight making the latter wheeze and stumble back onto the ground.

"G-gah! You've pinned me down already?!" Eijiro wheezes. "Man, you're really strong... How manly!" He praises as Dedede gets off him and stands back up, patting nonexistent dust off.

"You wanna go again since the first didn't take so long? I'm still feeling like a fighter, but I can go sleep if you aren't up for it!" Dedede cackles, glancing up at Eijiro.

Eijiro grins widely and pumps his fist, "Yeah, let's go again!" He cheers, his arm hardening once again.

"You ready? Let's go!" Dedede laughs heartily before charging at Eijiro once more. Eijiro dodges Dedede's move, but the latter is quick to follow with a swift turn around and the swing of his hammer.

Eijiro blocks the attack with rock-hard X-crossed arms before stepping to the side and making Dedede stumble forward. Taking advantage of Dedede's momentary lack of balance, Eijiro sends a series of blows his way.

With the barrage dealing continuous damage to Dedede, Eijiro finishes with a heavy, forceful biff to his stomach that he had to crouch for. Dedede tumbles backwards and falls on his back with a bellow, his hammer almost escaping his grasp.

With a strained groan, he gets back up on his feet and regains his stepping as he grips the hilt(?) of his hammer, locking eyes with Eijiro once more. As Dedede finally steadies himself, Eijiro-- who has been waiting patiently, charges at the penguin.

He slashes at Dedede with a sharpened hand, to which the king avoids by crouching. He counters with a headbutt to Eijiro's stomach, the sturdy gold of the former's cap meeting with the latter's firm abdomen.

The wind is knocked out of Eijiro's body, but he stays on his feet, trying to catch his breath. Dedede follows up on his attack with a swing of his hammer to Eijiro's side, only to be deflected off the now hardened flesh.

Taking advantage of the small stumble, Eijiro counters with a kick with a hardened leg that puts Dedede on the ground. Before Dedede could recover, Eijiro dives to pin the former down, the latter winning the round.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land
OST - The Sword of the Surviving Guardian

Meta Knight leaps off the ground and glides towards Kirby with his wings spread, his sword in hand. His blade clashes with Kirby's, sparks forming before recoiling and landing back on his feet.

MK ~ K

Meta Knight slashes the air once, twice and thrice, creating thin, but wide beams that flick towards the puffball. Kirby charges towards Meta Knight head-on and crouches under the first beam, jumps over the second and guards himself against the third.

After the beam fades against his sword, Kirby places one foot infront of him and dashes forward onto Meta Knight in a single step. He slams his blade onto the ground, but Meta Knight shields himself with his wing and swiftly counterattacks with the charged sword in his hand, spinning in a circle so fast it's blurry to the eye.

Kirby tries to escape the knight's whirlwind of sharp blades, but his struggles are to no avail. As Meta Knight finally halts his movement, Kirby is flung to a wall with a spinning head.

Kirby falls back onto the ground face-first before standing up, the tip of his sword on the ground to assist him. With a huff, he steps a step and raises his blade, a faint glow emitting from the metal. Then, he brings lowers his blade again and takes one more step, and another. More and more steps, progressively getting faster.

He reaches the inside of the sparring ring again and suddenly swings his sword, a beam flying towards Meta Knight. The latter steps aside and manages to avoid the attack that lands on a wall, but in the corner of his eye, he captures a glimpse of Kirby.

Before Meta Knight could react, Kirby swings his weapon and slashes at Meta Knight-- again, again, again, and again until he finishes with a turning swallow cut. Meta Knight grunts and stumbles back before swiftly taking a step forward with a slash.

Kirby leaps to the side and gashes Meta Knight, but this time, the latter was quick to react and parry the strike, the metals scraping against eachother and soon sliding off one another with an obnoxiously loud scrape.

Meta Knight steps back with the beat of his wings and hovers off the ground, slashing his blade for another set of beams. Kirby narrowly runs past the first and the second before leaping to the side to avoid the third one.

The masked knight's air slashes don't falter, the beams right on Kirby's tail as he sprints around the ring, occasionally leaping aside to even narrowly evade the barrage.

A final beam is sent. Kirby is caught off guard as the attack lands infront of him, giving Meta Knight the window of opportunity to dive down, the flap of his wings behind him sending him faster before he crashes onto Kirby, pushing him off his feet and successfully pinning him down.

"You're quickly improving, Kirby- but don't allow your progress interfere with your training; get stronger." Meta Knight moves off Kirby and lightly pats the boy's head.

Posted this on 1am, but atleast it's Sunday🤷‍♀️

I wanna change the title of the story so bad but I can't think of any original names☹️

doesn't the work studies arc happen after the license exam arc (why tf am I asking when I'm not even gonna write it anyway💀)

I procrastinated so much on this chapter and took so much breaks between writing I swear⚰️ I don't like it so much, but a crappy chapter is still a chapter🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm basically trying to improve my fight scene writing.. Writing MK vs Kirby was somehow easier than writing EK vs DDD

Also, tell me why I already have the ending planned before everything else. I literally had an idea for the ending before I published the first chapter💀 I even have, like, plans for art😓

Eventually my a/ns will 'outword' the story of the chapters themselves HAHAHAHA this is the longest a/n we have so far💪💪
