The following morning, Paul woke up earlier than usual. He noticed Aliyah was still asleep beside him and so gave her a gentle kiss to the forehead, before leaving.

After some time, he eventually made it to the top of a nearby sand dune, and sat on top of it. For a moment he just took in the landscape around him. Suddenly, he realised he hadn't had much time to just relax, so much had gone on the past month.

Around five minutes later, he heard sand moving and looked down to see his girlfriend walking up the sand dune elegantly, smiling up at him as she did.

"It's breathtaking" he whispered as she sat beside him, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"I know" is all she said as they had a moment of silence, staring into the distance at the desert.

"Hey, isn't that spice!" Aliyah said excitedly, lifting her head up making him glance at her, before following her line of sight.

"Yeah" he said smiling as they watched the spice flow in the wind over the beige sand.

"Arrakis is so beautiful when the sun is low isn't  it?" Aliyah said, her smile becoming wider.

Paul turned and looked at her happy face, smiling as he took in all of her beauty.

Eventually she noticed him staring, and turned around laughing. "Why must you always stare at me Paul?" She said, her laughs eventually dying down.

He turned back to her saying "Because you're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen" he said, his face serious.

"Oh stop" she said pushing his shoulder playfully making them share some laughs once more.

"How come you kept your name as Nuruh" Paul said once silence had settled among them.

She turned with a light smile "As much as the whole prophecy things sounds kinda crazy. I happen to like what my role is said to be. The idea of always being with you, and keeping you grounded, well I think it's quite lovely" she said.

He looked at her, taking all of her words in, before gently putting his hand on her cheek and leaning in and kissing her.

She smiled into the kiss. For her, that moment felt heaven. She felt the warm sun on her cheeks, she heard the sand moving gently below them, and most importantly, she felt 𝘩𝘪𝘮.

Their relationship was growing stronger and stronger each day, they know it, and everyone in the seitch knew it, it was almost as if, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨...

Over the next few weeks, the group of Fremen including Paul and Aliyah, continued to plan and attack the Harkonnens while they were harvesting.

Aliyah was never a huge fighter, however this has helped her become a stronger person, and she also loved that Paul was always with her along the way.

One evening, the group had just successfully destroyed two harvesters, and were now back at camp.

"Good job" All the Fremen said patting Paul on the back as he led Aliyah with him with his hand.

Once escaping the crowd of Fremen, Aliyah grabbed his hand tighter and began to run to one of the rocks.

"Come on!" She yelled laughing as he caught up with her eventually.

"Wow! you are slow Paul Atreides" she said trying to escape his grasp as he wrapped his arms around her laughing.

"I was going easy on you Liyah don't get cocky" he said resting his head upon hers as she eventually stopped trying to run away.

She rolled her eyes out laced her arms with his that were wrapped around her waist.

"You did good today" she said trying her best to look up to his face.

"You did too" he said.

"Hey maybe Stilgar will let you ride one of those worms soon" She said smiling.

He began to laugh at her words
"You mean us"

She turned around in his hold giving him a "are you serious" look.

"If you think I'm ever going to get on top of one of those killer worms, you are crazy" she said widening her eyes.

"You might have to" He said teasing her.

"Oh please, your the Mahdi pull a few strings I'm begging you" she said leaning her head on his chest.

He laughed at her words but placed his head on hers too. They both smiled sharing an intimate moment but were rudely interrupted by four Fremen whispering at the bottom of the dune.

"Look at them! They are so in love!" One said on their knees. The rest nodded and whispered continuing to pray aloud.

Paul and Aliyah gave each other a side eye before grabbing each others hand and running away laughing at the Fremen.

The two ran down the dune together, in floods of tears, before Aliyah slipped and fell onto her butt, dragging Paul down with her.

Eventually when they had stopped falling, and laughing, Paul tucked some hair behind her ear
"You know I love you Liyah" He whispered.

"I know Paul, and I love you too, 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳.

A few weeks later, Aliyah woke in her tent, hearing someone talking.

She turned over to see Paul mumbling in his sleep, seemingly having a nightmare.

"Paul, Paul it's ok" she said gently tapping him so he woke up.

He sat up and she did too, gently rubbing his back, whispering to him.

She placed her hand on his cheek
"I'm here" she said

He looked back at her, focusing on her face and voice trying to escape the sight of his dreams.

"Do you wanna tell me about it? I know you Paul, I know you have visions, and I'm here ok?" She said scooting up closer to him.

"It's not clear, only fragments. You were walking, in Arrakis, in the south. You turned around and took my hand. You looked 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵.. And I felt different too. People were below us, starving, starving...because of me." He said.

Aliyah gulped, but tried not to show her shock. "You know we've been exposed to spice for a while now, that's probably causing the weird dreams." She said with a sad smile.

He nodded his head, a frustrated expression on his face, feeling like she didn't understand him.

"Paul, I'm here by your side ok? Don't push me away, I know you, and I will always know you" she whispered.

He sighed knowing she was right and pulled her closer to him.

"Big day today, if you want I can talk to Chani and you can do it another day, I'm sure stilgar won't mind" she said with a smile.

"No, I'm fine" he said.

"Alright, but just know that it's ok not to be ok. You know id never judge you" she said looking up at him.

He nodded before kissing her gently on the lips.

"I know liyah" he said with a sigh, as they both lay together.
