"I need to tell you something." I tell Tanaka. We're outside of the store drinking some f/d. The others were with us but decide to leave.

"I like you." I whisper and I feel the air thicken. "You don't need to say anything now but I just wanted to let you know. Keeping it in was bugging me." 

"I like you too, I think." Tanaka says and I frown.

"You think?" I question.

"I like you and Kiyoko." He says. 

"F-forget I said anything." I laugh dryly shaking my head.

"No I- you're right I'm confused, but I wanna give us a shot." Tanaka says. 

I don't wanna be some last resort or the girl Tanaka gets with because he can't get the other.

"I don't want to be a compromise ." I sigh looking at him. "I don't want to be the girl crying to her brother because of a boy. If you are going to be my first date, kiss or relationship I want it to be real. I want you to be sure that you like me before we give us a shot, because I'm sure about you." I explain before taking another sip of my drink.

"Sorry, I must sound like a complete bastard." Tanaka scratches his head.

"No you didn't . I get where you're coming from." I ease. "You just make me feel so safe, the practice match with Seijoh is when I think I started liking you." I smile at him and he blushes a little it.

"I'm glad you feel that way." He grins back.

"You should start heading home. You need to have your energy for tomorrow." I smile giving him. a peck on the cheek and rushing inside. Why did I do that!  I didn't even let him say good bye!

"Why are you so red?" Keishin-nii smirks. " You little player I saw that stunt!" He laughs.

"Stop it!" I squeal and stick my tongue out at him before I run upstairs to my room. I can feel how red my face is.

================================================================================THE NEXT DAY

"Hey N/N." Tanaka says awkwardly. The team is loading the bus. It's

"Hey Tanaka." I say back.

Suga, Daichi and Asahi pull me aside to help them pack the snacks and medical supplies away.

"So did you tell him?" Suga nudges my arm while he puts water bottles into the cooler.

"I did. He likes both me and Kiyoko and said he wanted to give us a try." I explain filling up the bottles.

"What did you say?" Daichi asks as he puts stuff in the medical bag with Asahi who is making sure everything is in check.

"I told him that I would only date him when he was sure he liked me." I say filling up the last bottle.

"That's really mature of you." Asahi smiles.

"I kissed him on the cheek without thinking though! I left right after too!" I let out and the three boys start laughing. Kiyoko walks up toss and the boys and I tell her what happened and she joins in too.

"Listen Y/N-chan. I see Tanaka like a little brother so don't worry about me. I'm bi but prefer girls anyway  only you and the three of them know." Kiyoko smiles and I nod.

================================================================================We won the first two matches of the day and next is Aoba Johsai. Where two of my friends are but also those two little creeps so I'm on edge. The match isn't for another hour so we are sitting in  the halls eating out lunches but me. I don't have the stomach to eat right now.

"Eat." Tanaka says nudging my leg with his own. I guess it was shaking. I nod and pull out my bento and use one hand to eat half of it.

''Im sorry for what happened yesterday." I say looking at my toes. "I kissed you without thinking a-"

"I liked it." Tanaka cuts me off and grabs my hand and intertwines our hands. Now we're both red.

Aoba Josiah walks past us to their bags and Oikawa glares at our team.

"Good luck everybody, you'll need it." he smirks and walks by. Yahaba and Kindaichi look at me as they walk by and I hold onto Tanaka harder.

"Maybe I can get your number this time - I like them sassy. You gave me a hard time the last time I saw you." Yahaba calls out and I give him the finger. The rest of the team glares at him too. Good thing my brother is filling out paper work with Takeda or else he would've caused a seen. I stand up and walk to Yahaba.

"Looks like you're still a perverted little pig. You're just gonna make winning better." I say at him and he does the same.

"Will you make me feel better? I can make you scream my name." He says suggestively and I back away, startled before Tanaka comes to my aid and slings his arm around me.

"Back off and quit hitting on my girlfriend. I'll kill you." Tanaka says grabbing the boy by the collar. Usually Daichi or Suga would stop him but they know what happened at the practice match... Tanaka called me his girlfriend?! I mean I know he just said it so Yahaba could back off but still.

"His this creep really your boyfriend? C'mon, you know I'm cuter. You need a real man to protect and provide for you." Yahaba says as Tanaka pushes him back.

"The only creep here is you Yahaba. Tanaka doesn't say perverted things about girls unlike you. I don't need anyone to protect or provide for me other than myself. So please just leave me alone."  I flip him off again as Tanaka and I walk off back to the team.

"You're shaking." Tanaka says his arms still wrapped around me. "It's okay I'm here." He says softly and I nod. The third years rush up to us.

"Y/N are you okay?" Kiyoko asks grabbing my shoulders.

"I'm fine, that guy just really pisses me off." I sigh. Tanaka and I go back to the bench to sit down.

"LET ME BEAT HIM UP FOR YOU Y/N!" Noya screams and I laugh.

"If anyone will beat him up I would want to be the one to do it." I smile.

"Thank you Tanaka." I smile.

"Anything for you Y/N."
