Your POV

"Shall we start?" Father asked while I nod to start. Without second thought I run up to him ready to strike with my sword.

He blocked it and countered it. I was pushed slightly back.

"Your speed improved" he said

"Your strike is still heavy as ever." I said and launched again. He barely dodged but didn't lose focus.

We continued sparring and even exchanged a few taunts and compliments here and there. After a tiring spar, I won.

"I won" I said

"Yes you did"

"Then, I don't need a bodyguard" I said

"You can't back out now, I already called her." He said

"Her? Who?"

"Akio" he said and the doorbell rang.

"Speaking of the devil." He said

Akio was a feral orphan that my father took in. She was so violent that the orphanage always had a problem. She's basically adopted and is my sister but she refused to and said she wanted to be a servant instead.

She was no doubt a strong fighter, father allowed her to take boxing classes.

"Aki!!!" I said and hugged her she was tall obviously. She's 23 years old. She pats my head and I looked up at her.

"How have you been Y/n-sama?" She said.

"Drop the formalities, you're my sister you know!" I said

"I couldn't do that. You're still one of my master." she said and I sighed

She looked like she works out every day. Her long hair was now in a wolf cut. Her face looked serious, she wears a suit.

"Aki, you look handsome!" I said. She's a definition of a trap because of her boyish style. She looks like the serious pretty boy type.

"Thank you for the compliment." She said and I laughed.

"Thanks for agreeing to look after Y/n, you're the only one I know that she'll agree to have." Papa said

"No problem at all. It's my pleasure to work for Y/n-sama." She said

"That's good, I'll leave her to you. I'll be going back to work tomorrow. If you need anything just give me a call." Papa said

After two days when my father left, Aki always followed me.

"Aki, I'll be going out with Jiro today. You don't have to come." I said

"I refuse." She said

"We're just gonna visit his brother's bike shop today." I reasoned but she didn't listen so she just followed.

Walking to the shop with Jiro beside me and Aki following behind.

"Who's that?" He asked pertaining to Aki

"She's the one papa tasked to look after me. She's also my adopted sis. Her name is Akio." I said

"Ohh" he said and we arrived at Shin-nii's shop.

He's fixing a bike, the shop smelled like a cigarette.

"Yo! Aniki!" Jiro greeted

"Oh, Manjiro, Y/n." He said and approached us.

"About the bike that you fixed." Jiro said

"The one that I found in the Philippines?" He asked and we nod.

"I just finished fixing it yesterday and you can take it any time." He said and we nod.

"Thanks for letting us buy it." I said

"Yeah, no problem. It needs an owner anyways so I'm glad you guys wanted it." He said and was about to light a new cigarette.

"Please refrain from lighting a cigarette in front of the lady. She just recovered." Aki said to Shin who was too stunned to speak because of her sudden appearance.

"A-ah, sorry, a force of habit." He said and hid the cigarette.

"Even if it wasn't the lady, I hope that you refrain from smoking in your shop. You work with flammable materials." She added and Shin was silent.

From my point of view, it looks like he is being scolded by his mom. It was very awkward. Jiro is just watching and holding back his laughter.

"A-anyways, I think I want some cake. How about we buy some?" I asked Aki and she nod.

"I'll see you later, Jiro!" I said and waved. He waved back

"Yeah, take care!" He said and I pulled Aki out.

Mikey's POV

After Y/n and Akio-san left, I burst into laughter.

"Hahahahah, what's with that reaction?" I said to my bro.

"S-shut up." He said

"You looked like you were being scolded. Hahahahah" I said

"..."

I continued laughing and teasing him.

"Manjiro" he said while I wipe my tears from laughing

"Yeah?" I responded

"Who's that by the way?" He asked

"Y/n's caretaker, Tatsuya-san assigned." I said

"..."

"What's wrong?" I asked

"..."

"Aniki?"

"Am I gay?" He asked and I choked

"W-what?" I asked

"I think I fell in love at first sight." He said

Ah, I see, he thought that Akio-san is a male. She looks like a beautiful male after all, just like Imaushi-san. I should just let him be.

"I heard their name is Akio." I said

"Akio" he mumbled.

"So, you're really interested in them?" I asked

"I think so, I don't know this is new to me." He said and I was holding back my laughter.

"Well, good luck! Just tell me if you need help." I said and tapped his shoulder

He looked so conflicted. I want to see his reaction when he learns that Akio-san is a female.

Musashi Shrine (same day)

Mikey's POV

I gathered all the gang members to talk about the upcoming war between Toman and Valhalla.

"Today we're going to talk about the upcoming war between Toman and Valhalla. But before that, I'm going to introduce our new member!" I shouted and everyone was silent.

"Hanagaki Takemichi, step forward." I said and he went forward. Many were murmuring.

"Everyone, quiet down. Mikey is still talking." Ken-chin said and they followed

"From your help from the last battle with Moebius. I now officially announce that today you are a member of Toman." I said

Though he didn't join the fight, he saved Y/n and prevented the others from fighting amongst themselves.

"Third division vice-captain, Hayashi Ryohei, come upstage," I said and he did. He faced the crowd and bowed.

"I'm sorry for what I did last time, especially to the 2nd commander." He said and I saw Y/n smile kindly.

"Although she forgave me along with the other I couldn't forgive myself." He added

"I betrayed Toman and failed as the vice-captain of our division." he continued.

"I intended to quit as my punishment but our commanders and vice commander stopped me. They said that if I leave, it would mean I have abandoned our division." He said

"However, I could not accept to be the captain even for temporary only. I am not fit to lead. That's why.." he said and looked at the crowd

"I nominate Hanagaki Takemichi, as temporary third division captain. I believe that he is fit to be the bearer of our banner." He said and many were surprised especially Takemicchi.

"You heard him, Takemicchi. Do you accept? If you do raise your head proudly and claim it." I said to him, he was already in tears. He lift his head and shouted.

"I humbly accept the position." He said and I smiled.

"Then on this night, member, Hanagaki Takemichi, is promoted to temporary third division captain. Take and raise our flag that bears the name of Toman proudly." I declared

"Yes sir" he shouted and many cheered. It took a for the crowd to quiet down.

"Now that is done. We're going to discuss Valhalla." I said and we continued.
