Takemichi's POV

If I remember correctly, in the past I followed Mikey-kun and Draken-kun after the meeting about Moebius.

I concluded that Draken-kun was Mikey-kun's heart. I mean he still compensates for what Mikey-kun lacks.

But what about Y/n?

I didn't get to know her much but I remember that she works at the Musasi shrine.

Was she at meetings? I can't remember her presence at all.

"Hey guys, do you know anything about Y/n-chan?" I asked my friends

We are currently hanging out in my house.

"Huh? Y/n? Toman's other leader?" Yamagishi asked

"Yeah"

"Hmmm" he said while thinking.

"Well, she was a founding member of Toman and Mikey's girl."

"I already know that. More like her role in Toman."

"Although she's a commander like Mikey she doesn't command the gang directly." Akkun said

"What do you mean? Is her title for formalities only?" I asked

"Of course not, she holds equal power and command in the group but she doesn't use it." Akkun said

"Why not?" I asked

"From what I heard, it's because she lets Mikey-kun do the most part with Draken-kun when it comes to leading." Akkun said

"She's like the advisor And brains of the gang. They say her intuition is always right." Yamagishi said

"Then how did she make the members acknowledge her as another leader?" I asked

"Because she's strong. They call her the Peerless Swordmaster."

"Why?"

"She's like Mikey not entirely, she defeated 20 people alone without even sweating, while using a stick."

"Really? I know that she's strong but she's this overpowered?"

"Can you imagine? Mikey-kun and Y/n-chan is a literal power couple."

"But her fighting style is not really compatible with gang fights. Punches or kicks are the primary way of fighting so she rarely joins a fight unless necessary. They call her a pacifist." Takuya said

"Then why join a gang if she's a pacifist?" I asked

"We don't know everything about them, Takemichi, we're not a history book or something." Yamagishi said

"Sorry, I was just curious that's all." I said

"How about you ask her yourself?" Makoto said

"Huh? We're not really that close yet so.." I said

"Well, you won't know anything if you don't ask." Takuya said

"They're right, you should just ask her personally." Yamagishi said

"It should be fine since she's approachable." Akkun said.

"Yeah, I'll do it when I have the chance." I said

"Man, it's boring here, wanna go to the mall?" Yamagishi said.

"Yeah." we all agreed.

"Do you guys wanna grab a drink at the cafe nearby?" Makoto said

Walking together at the mall I saw a familiar h/c girl.

"Huh? Isn't that Y/n-chan?" I asked

"Where?" They asked and I looked in the direction where she was.

She's sitting on a bench with a bunch of shopping bags. She's like she's waiting for someone.

"You're right, maybe she's on a shopping date with Mikey-kun." Yamagishi said.

"Yeah, maybe you're right." I said

"How about we go now? We don't want to ruin their dat-" I stopped when I saw a bleached-haired man approach Y/n with some ice cream on hand.

"Who's that?" Takuya whispered

"I don't know, he looks familiar." I said.

"A relative?"

"They don't look the same but they both are good looking"

"Are you bi now?"

"Yesn't"

"Then, a friend?"

"Maybe"

*Gasp* "What if a secret lover?"

"Stop assuming things Yamagishi."

"Let's follow them. We have to get to the bottom of this or I'll never be able to sleep at night."

"Why? It's none of our business."

"Come on, your curious too right? We'll just follow them for a while."

We were so busy discussing that we didn't notice them gone.

"Where are they?"

"They disappeared!"

"It's your fault for talking too long!"

"We have to go, it's no use since we lost them" I said and they agreed.

Y/n-chan is not the type to cheat. She acts like a devoted wife to Mikey-kun when I see them together.

Your POV

I noticed Takemicchi and his friends so I dragged Haru with me.

It's not like hanging out with him is a secret and all. I just don't want to be followed.

"Why did you do that?" Haru asked

"I just got the feeling that we'll be followed if we stayed longer there." I replied

"I see."

"So, shall we go and discuss that?" I said

"Yeah" he said

After arriving at an empty cafe, we chose the table where it's almost isolated after ordering.

We both took an envelope and placed it on the table.

We were silent and serious until the waitress came and served our order.

"Now then Haru, this will be another day that you'll lose." I said.

"You should not celebrate early, Y/n." He said.

Simultaneously opening the envelopes.

"Are you ready, Haru?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

"Then on three"

We both pulled out something in our envelopes.

"Take this, Haru!" I said proudly. "Feast your eyes on a Pouting Jiro!"

"Fufufu, not so fast Y/n." he said smugly. "Your picture wont be able to beat this!" He said while he showed a picture of Jiro dozing off.

Yes. We are competing on who got the best pic of Jiro. We both stan for him so we made a secret fan club. At first, it was like a cult but it improved over time.

"I know but this will!" I said and pulled a picture of Jiro wrapped in blankets showing his face.

"Is that the best you got? How about this!" He said and showed Jiro with his mouth full.

"Your so naive Haru, that won't be enough since I have this!" I said and pulled out a picture of Jiro in a Kimono. I forced him, don't ask me how.

"Your right, that wasn't enough. I have no choice, I didn't want to do this but you left me no choice." He said in a serious tone.

"W-what? I've got a bad feeling about this." I said

"As you should since you're losing today. I even asked my brother just to acquire this special picture." He said in a low tone

"H-haru?"

"I've set aside my pride just to beat you today! Now I'm taking the win!" he said and showed a picture and then laughed like a maniac.

I was silent. A shadow was cast on my face.

"What do you think of that, Y/n? This is my perfect victory! THAT'S RIGHT! I WIN!" he said and continued laughing.

"Haru" I called with a low tone.

I started chuckling and covered my face with my hand.

"Huh?" He said

I started to giggle maniacally while I tilt my head up.

With my other hand, I pulled out my last picture.

I peeked over my hand and grinned.

"You didn't win Haru. You didn't have the chance to." I exclaimed.

Our pictures were the same. It was Jiro when he was a baby and was crawling with a bright smile.

Haru was disappointed and was too stunned to speak.

"That's ok Haru. That makes it 7 wins, 3 loses, and 2 ties" I said happily.

He sighed.

"After begging for Takeomi to ask for a picture of Mikey from Shinichiro, in the end it was a tie." He said with a defeated tone.

"I had to buy Emma new clothes for that picture." I said

This is how we spend our time in our little Fanclub. We started it last year because we kept arguing about who got the best picture of Jiro so we made it our club activity.

After talking about things, we ate and drank our food and beverage. There was silence.

"Ne, Haru?" I asked

"Yeah?"

"Why did you start to follow Jiro?"

"

That's a random question. I thought you know." He said

"Don't tell me you like Jiro in a romantic way?!" I said with a gasp

"Of course not! Why would you even think of that?!" he exclaimed

"I don't know. Just a random thought" I said

"It's not like that."

"Then why?"

"I was just drawn in by his leadership."

"Hoh?"

"I just got the feeling that I have to follow him. You know like a loyal servant to it's king."

"I see, why do you always refer to him as 'king'?"

"Because he is."

I just stared at him unamused

"You're so wrong Haru." I said

"What do you mean?"

I looked away

"He's an Emperor"

"Huh? What's the difference?"

I sighed

"A king has a kingdom while an emperor has an empire. There's a big difference between that."

"Is it how big they rule over? Technically speaking, Toman is still small compared to other gangs."

"That's not what I mean."

He was silent and waited for me to speak.

"It means, he's carrying more responsibility and burdens as a leader. He once said to me that if someone he owns has a burden then that burden is his too." I said in a calm tone

"I see."

"Imagine if all of the members have problems. He would carry it all for them." I said

"Toman is really lucky to have him as a leader. That is why traitors should be punished." He said

Even when Toman was just created he had so many burdens. When he told me he came from the future, I felt the weight of his problems that's why I promised to carry his burdens with him.

"Also if he's the emperor then that makes you the empress?" He asked

"Of course, that's a given. I carry his problems with me and help him in ways I can." I said proudly

"Then I'll also follow you." He said

"huh?"

"I respect you, you know."

"Why is that?"

"I just do. Similar to how I respect and follow Mikey" He said

"As you should." I said proudly.

"But you acting so arrogant makes me think twice." He said

"Wha- hey! It's my right to be arrogant you know. If it's honorable then being proud is just a normal thing." I exclaimed

"What's with you and honor anyway? You always mention that"

"My father taught me that so don't question it." I said sternly

"Whatever." he said and rolled his eyes

There was silence between us again.

"Ne, Haru?" I called softly

"hmm?"

"If anything happens to me, help Jiro, 'kay?" I said

"What are you talking about?" he asked confused

"Just be sure to Take care of Jiro for me." I said while smiling

"Stop that, your saying that like you're gonna die." He said

"What?!" I asked

"You're like raising a death flag, you know."

"Are you worried about me now~?" I said teasingly and he clicked his tongue.

"Well although I ask you to take care of him, you should also take care of yourself." I said

"The ki- Emperor is more important. Even the Empress." He said

"But so are you, so protect yourself too. Jeez, where is your self-love?" I said with a chuckle

"I don't know, I think I lost it." He said

"Then, as your Empress, I'll also take care of you since you're our subject."

"Huh?"

"I and Jiro are not tyrants you know. We care for our friends and followers like family. Toman is a one for all, all for one group." I said

"..."

"I see you as a family too, Haru. Don't forget that." I said with a smile.

He stared at me for a moment and smiled.
