You squealed and kicked your legs in the air after getting off the phone with Gorou. You sat upright and jumped over to your desk, sitting in the chair and opening your songwriting notebook. With all the emotions coursing through you, you needed to write about it. You hummed a bit, trying to figure out the melody you wanted to use.
Meanwhile, Gorou was hugging his tail, hiding his face in it as he thought about you. He was in a relationship with you! He was so ecstatic, he doubted he'd be able to sleep at all. Honestly, though? That was perfectly fine with him.

"Wait, what?!"
"...Ahah..." You nervously laughed, looking out the car window. "...Yeah."
"I didn't leave for that long, did I?!" Childe yelped, trying to focus on the road but finding it very difficult.
"Eyes on the road, dude!" You hissed, looking over at him. "It's not that big of a deal..."
"You're in a relationship with Gorou. I think that's kind of a big deal."
It was a really big deal to you, but you didn't want to admit it to Childe in case it made him feel worse.
"Not really..." You said. "We became friends after you left."
"Still, that's really sudden- Are you sure about this? You didn't break up with Scaramouche that long ago, right?"
"I'm sure, Childe. If it makes you feel better, you're the first person I've told..."
"...Y'know, I wish I could say that helps, but it really doesn't."
"I tried, at least."
The ride was mostly silent until you got to school. You jumped out of the car, excited yet nervous to see Gorou face-to-face. You took a few deep breaths before making your way through the front doors, where Childe followed close behind you. When you got to the classroom, Gorou was already there, and he looked absolutely drained of all energy. However, when he saw you enter, his head perked up, along with his ears. You probably could've died from how cute it was.
You went over and hung your bag on the back of your seat, sitting down and facing your body toward Gorou, "Hey."
"Hey!" He grinned. You really loved his smile.
You couldn't help but beam in return, continuing to think about the fact that you were in a relationship with him. Things were going to be different! Your mind wandered to all different places. You would be able to cuddle him, probably pet him, tell him how cute he was, say how much you loved him, kiss him-
You cut off your train of thought with an internal scream at the idea.
"Y/n-? Are you okay?" Gorou asked, moving over into Kazuha's chair and waving his hand in front of your face.
"I'm fine!" You said hastily.
"Are you sure? You're really red..."
You hadn't even realized the heat that flushed your cheeks, "Ahaha... Yes, I'm sure!"
He laughed at your embarrassment, causing your blush to worsen. He found it amusing, and it was really cute. He did wonder what was going on inside your head, though.
"Don't laugh at me!" You whined.
"I'm sorry, it's just- You're really cute," he said, not even seeming to realize the words that were coming out of his mouth.
You were sure your body was melting from all the warmth in your heart. You couldn't take it anymore. You tilted your head to look down and covered your face with your hands. He finally registered what he said and his face burned as well.
"Wait, I said that out loud?!" He exclaimed in a hushed voice.
"Yes..." You answered, your voice muffled by your hands.
Kazuha entered the scene and glanced between the two of you, wondering what to do since Gorou was in his seat and was too distracted to notice him. In the end, he sat down where Gorou previously was. You pulled your hands away from your face and looked over, noting Kazuha's presence.
"Oh- Kazuha?"
Gorou whipped his head around to look at the boy, "Oh, sorry-"
Kazuha smiled, "It's fine. We can switch seats, if you want."
"R-Really?" Gorou stammered, glancing back to you.
You just gave him a smile and shrugged, "Your decision."
"Okay, then... Sure!"

"That was good! I'll need you all to come here on Saturday so we can run through the play in its entirety. After a few small fixes, we'll be good to go," Yae announced.
"We have to meet here on a Saturday?" Sara questioned.
"Yes, that's what I said. 10 in the morning, I expect to see you all here."
The majority of students groaned in annoyance, but you were mostly excited. The play was almost finished, and you'd finally get to perform it in front of an audience. Though, it also made you anxious. You had so much stress in your life that you were worried you wouldn't be able to do your best. Hopefully, though, things were starting to change. And that started with you and Gorou.
"Hey, uh..." You greeted awkwardly as you stepped beside your new boyfriend. "Can I ask you something?"
"Hm? Sure, what is it?" He asked, packing his things into his backpack.
"Would you wanna come to my house after school...? I have something I want to show you."
"Of course!" He agreed. "Do you want me to drive you again?"
You smiled, "Sure."

"So your mom isn't home?"
"Nope, she's... somewhere, I guess. Probably work, but sometimes I can't tell," you shrugged. "I doubt she'll be back for a while."
Gorou knew you weren't intending anything, but something about being alone with you in your own room with no one in the entire house made him nervous. He shifted in place while he sat on the edge of your bed with his legs dangling off. Meanwhile, you grabbed the guitar that you asked Yae to borrow and sat down in your desk chair. You spun it around to face Gorou and sat the instrument in your lap.
"Okay, so you know how music is kinda therapeutic for me," you started.
"Yeah?"
"Well... I also write it," you said, averting your gaze to the side. "It's probably not that surprising... But, uh... Oh, lord, this is embarrassing, stop looking at me-"
"Wh- We're having a conversation, though-?"
"J-Just close your eyes, okay?" You huffed. "I don't think I can start with you staring at me."
"Okay, okay," he smiled, his eyes fluttering closed.
"Good. Okay, I can do this... I can do this... Yeah," you whispered to yourself. He obviously heard it, of course, and it made him smile even more.
You began singing and he was immediately blown away, just like the first time he heard you. Your voice was soft and caring as you opened the song, and he instantly wanted to open his eyes, but he didn't. He was always amazed with how talented you were.
He began paying attention to the lyrics while the song went on and realized who you wrote it about. His face burned a million shades of red as you sang, mentioning things you loved about him. The way he comforted you when you were in need, the way he smiled, the way he whimpered when you pet him, the way his voice went higher when he was nervous, how he was so caring, how you could get lost in his eyes, how smart he was... Everything, really.
He slightly opened one of his eyes and saw that you now had your eyes closed as you played the notes on the guitar and sang along. He gazed at you, admiring how peaceful you looked despite the blush on your face. It was like you were pretending he wasn't there. His smile never left his face. He glanced down to your lips and his breath hitched as he thought of what they would feel like. They looked... soft.
His blush intensified when you ended off the song by saying you loved him. You reluctantly opened your eyes to see him still staring at you in astonishment and admiration. You stiffened up and forced yourself to look into his eyes.
"So... What did you think...?"
Out of nowhere, he hopped down from the bed and leaned forward, over the guitar. He pressed his lips against yours and you sucked in a breath through your nose. Your eyes widened at first, but you squeezed them shut after you realized what was happening. You almost dropped the instrument from shock.
His lips were soft, and the way he kissed you made you feel like a precious treasure. His hand gently caressed your cheek as he pulled away, leaving you stunned.
"It was amazing," he exhaled before leaning back in, stealing your lips again.
You felt like you'd just ascended to the heavens. Your stomach was swirling, your mind was whirling, and warmth pooled into your body like lava. He pulled away again and you opened your eyes. They were shining like stars. You'd always wanted to be kissed like that.
"That was amazing," you giggled.
He quickly sat back down, creating more distance between you, "S-Sorry, I just- I don't know what came over me..."
You looked away sheepishly, "There's no need to be sorry... I liked it. A lot, actually..."
"Really...?"
"Yep!" You beamed, setting the guitar to the side and going over to sit beside him. "It's obvious you're an amateur, though. I might have to teach you a few things."
"T-Teach me?" He stammered.
"I'm kidding, chill!" You said. "I mean, I can if you want me to..."
"I would like that."
Your eyes widened ever so slightly as you looked at him, surprised by his response. You weren't expecting him to be so straightforward. He averted his gaze, nervous from the way you were staring at him. You glanced to his lips and smirked before leaning closer and planting your lips on his as one of your hands rested on the back of his neck.
"Mm-!" He hummed with surprise. His heart was practically exploding, he was slightly afraid he'd have a heart attack. Still, he kissed back as his tail swished uncontrollably.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door and you heard the knob rattle. You rapidly pulled away from him, ignoring the immense embarrassment, and looked to the door. Gorou was mentally panicking, not knowing what to do. You turned your head back to him. You were so glad you decided to lock the door because of your paranoia...
"You need to hide," you murmured, your eyes showing worry.
"Where am I supposed to-"
"Under the bed or something, I don't know!" You whispered hurriedly, taking your hands away from him and standing up. "If my mom finds you in here, she'll literally kill me. I'll try to keep her out of here."
He nodded vigorously and crawled under the bed as you went to the door. She started banging on it until you pulled it open and stepped into the hallway, closing it behind you. She backed up slightly and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Hey, Mom," You greeted. "...Did you need something?"
"I was checking to make sure you were here," she stated.
"You thought I was going to run away?" You asked.
She didn't answer, "...Are you hiding something?"
You furrowed your eyebrows, "No, why?"
"Because you're standing in front of the door like you're trying to hide it."
You hadn't even noticed...
"Oh," you blinked. "I didn't realize. No, everything's fine."
"...Hm," she hummed. She started walking away, though she still called to you from the other end of the hall. "I'm not sorry for what I said. And I won't be back until tomorrow evening."
You just got back...
Gorou had listened to the entire interaction and got out from under the bed before you came back in. He sat on top of it and looked at you with concern as you pushed the door shut. You sighed and leaned your back against it.
"Will you be okay?" Gorou questioned.
You sauntered over and laid your upper body across your bed, letting your feet hit the floor as your legs hung off. You contemplated your answer, wondering what the right one would be. Hoping to lift your mood and the atmosphere, you decided.
"Well, I'd feel better if you kissed me more-"
"Y-Y/n!"
"I'm kidding! Sorta."
