"I'm willing to put this all behind us if you are." Jungkook said confidently. He wasn't even upset anymore. He felt extremely relieved that they were fixing things and just talking things out.

"More than anything. Please let's just semi start over." Taehyung suggested.

Jungkook nodded and smiled to himself afterwards. He'll never forget but he's always one to forgive.

Forgiveness.

One of the world's greatest and one of the hardest sacrifices.

Forgiveness comes in so many different forms. It's a sacrifice in itself because you can repeatedly sacrifice your own happiness once you pass the happiness torch on to someone who has betrayed you. Sometimes people don't really deserve to be forgiven, but that isn't always so easy to decide.

You can either choose to never forgive someone or forgive them right away or give it time and forgive them later. In the process, you're sacrificing love, friendship, energy, etc just to decide if you even want that person in your life anymore.

You can forgive and forget.
Forgive and never forget.
Never forgive and never forget.

Endless combinations based on people's individual experiences.

For right now, he really wanted to move past this whole weird memory of Taehyung dancing intimately with another man. Someone who at the end of the day, wasn't Jungkook himself. He couldn't even be completely upset at Hoseok, as he had no clue what he was getting into.

Jungkook simply wanted to forget, but he knows that scenario will always be a reminder on how he can't wait too long to make a move or he will ultimately lose the ones he loves.

"Taetae?" Jungkook sure missed calling him that.

"Kookie?" Taehyung instantly responded, missing how often that pet name flowed so effortlessly and often from his lips.

"As we move forward from this point on, I have something I want to ask you."

"Ask me anything you want." Taehyung agreed genuinely.

"Do you.." -love me? Jungkook desperately wanted to ask him that. But he changed it last second. The timing didn't seem right. "Do you.. actually want to go on that date I mentioned? It's an easy setup if that's something you're interested in." He bit his lip softly.

"Of course! I want to see what you planned for us!" Taehyung smiled widely and cheered.

"I'm gonna go get ready. I look like shit right now. When I get back I'll guide you through everything."

"I'm sure you actually don't, but okay Kookie. So I'll see you in a few?"

"Yeah.. Thank you, by the way."

"For what?"

"For saying yes." Jungkook said simply that and hung up afterwards not giving Taehyung a chance to even process what happened or even respond.

Why wouldn't he say yes?
