"desirae, we're here. alejandro says to me in a soft tone.

my eyes flutter open, i actually fell asleep on his LAP the whole car ride.

alejandro opens our side door and i climb out the car, rubbing my eyes as i do so.

"did i really fall asleep for that whole car ride?" i said, a smile appearing on alejandros face.

"yes." alejandro says, his dimples showing more and more as his smile grew wider.

"sorry about that." i said, i was probably suffocating him.

"what are you saying sorry about?" alejandro says as he lets out a laugh.

"i don't know." i said, my face starting to hurt due to the fact of how hard i've been smiling.

𝖽𝖾𝗌𝗂𝗋𝖺𝖾 𝖼𝖺𝗅𝗆 𝗒𝗈𝗎𝗋 𝖺𝗌𝗌 𝖽𝗈𝗐𝗇 𝗒𝗈𝗎 𝖻𝖺𝗋𝖾𝗅𝗒 𝗆𝖾𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝖻𝗈𝗒 𝖿𝗈𝗋 𝗇𝗈𝗍 𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗇 𝖺 𝗐𝗁𝗈𝗅𝖾 𝖽𝖺𝗒 𝗒𝖾𝗍

"cmon loser." alejandro says as we start to follow the rest of the group into the restaurant. it was a really nice one to say the least.

we followed the waitress that was leading us to the table, alejandro accidentally tripping on the way there. his face red of embarrassment but eventually laughed along with the rest of us.

we were sat at one of the larger booths. all of us arranged our seats and got our menu. we were still waiting for kairi to arrive so there was one seat left empty but aside from that it was savannah and mattia, alvaro and lexi, and then me and alejandro agaisnt the wall. ( 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗒'𝗋𝖾 𝖺𝖼𝗋𝗈𝗌𝗌 𝖿𝗋𝗈𝗆 𝖾𝖺𝖼𝗁 𝗈𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗋)

we were all having our own conversations amongst each other. i could tell lexi was at her all time high with alvaro being right in front of her and could actually talk to him in person instead of a facetime call.

"say cheesee." alejandro says as i look up to see he has his phone out, directed towards me.

"are you deadass." i said, trying my best to not look like a mess. smiling towards the camera, alejandro presses the button which then makes the flash hurt my eyes. by the time the picture was actually taken, i wasn't looking at the camera but was looking down because of how bright his flash was.

"alejandro what is up with your flash." i say, rubbing my eyes, quickly stopping as i remember i had mascara on.

"it's literally the same flash as your phone, are you dumb." alejandro says, smiling down at his phone which showed the picture.

alejandro turns his phone toward me, showing me the picture he had just took.

"wait that's actually so cute." i say, i thought it would've caught me off guard since the flash ruined it but it shows me smiling down at my food, like if it was on purpose.

"i'm gonna post it on my spam." alejandro says, i peep over to his phone and he's already typing out his caption, i smile to myself.

"watch them come for me in the comments." i say, my smile quickly turning into a frown as i realize if this does turn into something bigger, portraying it onto alejandros social media wont be easy as many will be negative towards our "relationship".

"no sad time des, oh well if they don't like us together but seriously? you're gonna let these random people protected by a phone screen let you overthink what you wanna do? it's what's best for you okay? you only live once am i right." alejandro says.

"wow motivational speaker much ale?" i say, letting out a small laugh while alejandro does the same.

"THERESSS MYYY BOYYY." mattia says as he gets up from his seat to go dab up kairi.

"kind of rude that i'm the only single one here." kairi says, sitting down in his seat. his comment making everyone laugh.

"werent you talking to em-" i start my sentence but quickly stop talking as i feel alejandros foot slightly kick my leg. i look up at alejandro and see him giving me one of those "you don't wanna finish that sentence" looks.

"emily? yeah we dont talk about that." kairi says.

"sorry." i say, dying of embarrassment after what i just said.

"it's all good, i'm kairi, you're desirae right? alejandros girl i see." kairi says, giving alejandro a thumbs up with a smirk.

i smile, blushing at the comment "alejandro's girl." giving kairi a nod.

"alvaro and lexi finally together in person." kairi says, lexis cheeks turning a bright pink.

we were interrupted by the waiter,

"could i start y'all off with any drinks or appetizers."

everyone ordered what they wanted, also ordering our main meals aside.
