Heerin sighed. Another month passed by without a single sign of who her soulmate would be or who's Chanhee's would be. She knew she couldn't give up.
She didn't want to go back home without her soulmate. Suddenly, the door was beeping, indicating someone was trying to get it.

Heerin gripped onto the knife in the kitchen. Although this was her aunt's place, she still didn't want it to be damaged. Footsteps came into the apartment and revealed her mom. Heerin released her grip and looked at her.

"Come back home Heerin," Her mom dictated.

"No. I won't come back home until I find my soulmate." Heerin said with determination.

"How are you going to find your soulmate? Heerin, if you continue doing this do you think you'll ever come home?" Her mother approached her.

"Even if I don't ever come home, I'll still find a way to my soulmate."

"How do you know that?" Her mother asked with doubts.

Heerin showed her arm. It had the same writing on it, only that it was less visible. "I'm going to find them! Even if it takes my entire lifetime!"

"Heerin!" Her mother yelled.

"My soulmate is waiting for me." Heerin stated and left her mother there alone. They were both in distress. Heerin walked out the house with a river of tears. Then she bumped into someone.

It was Chanhee.

He was crying as well, but he didn't know why.
"Why are you crying?" Heerin asked and wiped Chanhee's tears.

"I don't know.." Chanhee continued to cry along Heerin.

"Don't cry, you'll make me cry.." Heerin whispered and hugged him. Slowly, both their tears went away. Chanhee wiped her tears, "Then you shouldn't cry either."

Her mother walked out and saw the two. They were hugging, but what stood out the most to her was that, their strings were growing. They both had the same writing on their arms and they were crying together.

Chanhee carassed her back and suddenly he was able to breathe. Heerin controlled her breathing and got off him, "T-Thank you.."

Heerin's mother walked off and noticed the signs. She needed to find out who Chanhee was and why he was with her. She wanted to help her daughter, but it came down to him knowing him first.

Heerin and Chanhee walked hand-in-hand despite the fact that they weren't dating. Chanhee rubbed circles on her hand as they walked together.

"Why were you crying?" Chanhee asked.

"My mom found me. I should've expected it because I was in my aunt's empty house." Heerin sighed. "Why were you crying?"

"It just came out I guess. Maybe my soulmate was crying." Chanhee made a hypothesis.

"Strange, I guess the three of us are crying together then. Now that you've stopped crying she's probably fine." Heerin chuckled. Inside, she was broken, she started growing feelings for Chanhee, but he already had a soulmate by fate. She couldn't change fate.

Chanhee looked at her arm, "Did you write that?" The barely visible "I love you" still made him curious. They were the same handwriting but he didn't want to make conclusions without any evidence.

"My soulmate did. I was crying. Suddenly words appeared on my arm." Heerin said.

Was he her soulmate? It couldn't possibly have been.

"Heerin," Chanhee called. Heerin hummed in response.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"
