It was a sunny day. The birds were chriping and the winds were blowing quietly. The two sat across from each other with their drinks.

"So you won't scam me?" Chanhee raised a brow.

Heerin showed her id and school id. "I know this might not be enough but if you want you can sue me if I scam you."

Chanhee nodded slowly and stared at her, "So you'll help me find my soulmate?

Heerin nodded and smiled, "But with something in return."

"What is that?" Chanhee asked.

"I want you to also help me find my soulmate." Heerin requested. "You won't have to pay me, instead, I'll pay you."

"You know the whole purpose of this finding my soulmate thing is because I can't find them by myself, right?" Chanhee said, clearly declining her request.

"I can't find my soulmate without your help either. You need someone and so do I, so let's help each other hm?" Heerin persuaded. Chanhee sighed and gave in, "Fine."

"Why are we here?" Chanhee asked the girl who kneeled under the cherry blossom.

"A place to pray." Heerin said quietly, but ooud enough for him to hear. "The heavens will help me help you."

"You believe in that stuff?" Chanhee scoffed.

Heerin got up and brushed her knees. "You believe in soulmates and matches made in heaven but not the heavens in general?"

Chanhee rolled his eyes and leaned on the tree.

"Don't lean on the tree." Heerin dictated sternly.

"Why not?"

"The tree is sacred. You're hurting the heavens, it will stop growing if you continue leaning on it." Heerin grabbed his arm and pulled him to her. She slid her hand down to his and brought him on his knees.

"Pray." She commanded. She let go of his hand and closed her eyes. Heerin calmly put her palm onto her other and closed her eyes. She was graceful yet rude.

Chanhee sighed and did exactky as she did.

"Your soulmate is not far," a female voice in his head said. Chanhee quickly widened his eyes and got up.

"Are you a demon? Why did you take me here? A-Are you a wiTCH?" Chanhee yelled, stumbling back.

Heerin ticked her tongue and got up. Just as Chanhee continued to stumble back, she grabbed his hand.

"Be careful, we're on a mountain. It's quite high." Heerin said calmly. "My grandma's soul is here. That's why I told you not to lean on the tree. It is her grave. She guides me more than my parents will."

Chanhee furrowed his brows, "Your grandma? She's the tree?" Heerin shrugged.

"I'm not sure, but I would like to believe that." Heerin kneeled on the ground once more, alongside with Chanhee.

The whistles of the wind rested their minds. The shade of the cherry blossom protected them from the blazing sun. The fragrance of the flower fields filled the air. It was almost heaven. Chanhee had felt as if he was already happy.

Chanhee opened his eyes, the string was growing. It was growing faster. He was finally happy. Chanhee smiled and turned to the girl who was still praying. He shook his head and continued to pray alongside her.
