~ Daniel's P.O.V ~

I've had a crush on y/n for what? A month. And she's been dating this douche bag called Aiden. He was nice to her, but an absolute dick towards everyone else. I couldn't tell if he was being protective over her or overall just a dick.

"Being singles the best!!" Zach said barging through the door.

"You broke up with her? Again?" He looked at me with the face like 'seriously'

"What it's true. Guarantee you'll go back to her within 2 months."

"Maybe but at least I'll be single for 2 months."

He walked over to the kitchen to grab some milk. Then drank it straight out of the bottle. "Besides at least I can tell a girl I like them."

I gave Zach a death stare and he just looked at me. "What? It's true Daniel. You've had a crush on her for a month and haven't told her."

"I'm waiting for the right time!"

"Well when do you think is the right time?" That was a good question I don't know. What time is a good time to tell your crush that you like them.

"When they break up I'll swoop in and tell her." I said jumping into the coffee table and doing a power pose.

"So you're going to be the rebound guy?"

"No. I mean yeah but she'll realise that she likes me and then I won't be the rebound."

Zach jumped over the sofa and on to it as I still stood on the coffee table. "Daniel my friend we need to sort out a propper plan for you to get the girl of your dreams."

He said jumping onto the coffee table then put his arm across my shoulders. "So what's the plan?" I asked Zach.

"I don't know we should figure that out shouldn't we?"

"Yeah maybe on the floor though because Jonah would moan if we broke the table."

"When's the last time we used it why do we have it?"

We jumped onto the floor and exchanged ideas until we finally got one. "Okay so are we seriously going to do this?" I asked debating my own plan.

"Yeah but guess it's going to turn out terribly though."

"Yeah we know that, so do I text her -" I couldn't finish my sentence until I heard y/n barge through the door.

"Y/N?!?" Me and Zach said at the same time.

"Hi boys! Have you seen Aiden? I'm hiding from him."

"What did he do?" She didn't respond she just dumped her bag on the floor.

"Well today's our 6 month anniversary." Zach and I looked at each other with shocked expressions on our faces.

"Yeah I know I've been in a relationship for that long. ANYWAY!!"

~ Your P.O.V before you went
to the boys house ~

It was mine and Aiden's 6 month anniversary. It's been amazing so far, he woke me up with breakfast in bed. He got me a pandora Harry potter bracelet.

And he gave me one of his hoodies. I didn't even have to steal it which is amazing.

"Aiden you didn't have to buy me all this stuff." I said kissing him on the cheek.

"Anything for you my baby." He said placing a kiss on my cheek.

"So where are we going, for our anniversary?"

"Well dress up nice and you'll wait and see."

I got ready for the "special place" quote Aiden. He said don't dress to posh but not to causal. So I just went with this outfit.

"Babe are you ready?!?" Aiden shouted down the other end of the corridor.

"Yeah I'm coming." I shut the bedroom door and then walked out of the flat to see Aiden.

"You look amazing!" He said giving me a kiss on the lips.

"You don't look so bad yourself babe." Me and Aiden walked towards the cab then we drove to the place.

~ Time skip ~

After me and Aiden finished at the restaurant we walked back to the flat.

"Y/n. I know you don't like the word but. I love you." Fuck fuck fuck. Is he serious.

I blushed and looked down at the floor. But he lifted my chin up. "You don't have to say it back, I just needed to say it. Because I do."

I turned red because I didn't know what to say or do. But I know I needed to leave this moment right now. I looked through my bag

"Oh shit! Aiden I think I left my phone in the restaurant. I'll be back!"

"Okay." I walked out of the flat and back to the restaurant. I took off my shoes but ran to a bus stop then waited for the bus to go to the boys' house.

I unlocked the door. And Daniel and Zach were there doing a hand shake (The one in the gif).

"Y/n!!!" The boys both shouted at me.

"Hi boys! Have you seen Aiden? I'm hiding from him." They both looked confused. Then Zach asked me.

"Why would Aiden be here?"

"I don't know I just need to not see him he said I love you to me. And I don't know what to say back."

I chucked my bag on the floor and crossed my arms and I saw Zach nudge Daniel as he stumbled forward a bit.

"Y/n. Why did you come here?" Daniel asked me.

"Um, because you are the one who lives closest to me. Well the boys at least."

"Oh okay -"

"Daniel wants to tell you something y/n. And oh look at the time I need to go on a run!" Zach said leaving the door.

"Since when does Zach go on a run?" I said giving a little laugh.

"True. But he probably didn't want to be here when I tell you."

"Tell me what?"

"Maybe it's better if I show you?" I was so bloody well confused at this point. But he moved closer and kissed me on the lips.

And I kissed back because I needed a reason to take the 6 month exit.

"Y/n?" I pulled away at the voice and saw Aiden.

"Aiden? Hi?" I said in more of a question.

And then he looked at me with confusion.

"I can't believe you! Your friends was rightn Fuck you!" I stood there in shock not knowing what to do.

"6 month exit?" Daniel asked me.

"6 month exit." I said laughing.

"So, what does that mean we are?"

He asked scratching the back of his head.

"Friends with benefits?" I asked.

"Really?"

"Yeah why not?" I laughed yet again.

Then Zach walked in. "How was you run?" I said sarcastically.

"Oh it was amazing! How did it go Daniel?"

"Oh we're -"

"We're dating!" I said interrupting Daniel. I kissed him on the lips then walked away and up to his bedroom. "You coming up or not Dani?" I said halfway up the stairs.

"Well done Dani!" Zach said as him and Daniel did the handshake again. (The one in the gif).

"DANIEL HURRY UP!!!" I shouted from his bedroom. Tonight was going to be fun.
