~ Zach's P.O.V ~

I was pacing round the house waiting for y/n to get here because we were having a fortnight movie thing.

"But how do I bring it up?" I asked still pacing.

"You're watching (insert random movie) and there's a date scene. And just casually ask if she wants to go on a date simple." Daniel said.

"Okay. I'll do it like that."

Then someone knocked on the door.

"She's here. Okay. Leave!" I shooed Daniel out the room as he rolled his eyes and walked into the kitchen.

"You got this Zach. It's only y/n.".

I rolled my eyes, but then went to get the door. To see y/n with popcorn and chocolate.

"Are you ready for the best combo in the world? Caramel nibbles with cinema sweet popcorn."

"No way. That sounds so good."

Y/n walked in without even telling her too already pouring the chocolate into the popcorn.

"So what we watching this week?"

"Oh (insert random movie) yeah apperantly it's meant to be really good the boys saw it."

Y/n nodded her head as she jumped on the sofa me following her not long after.

About halfway through the movie, the date scene came up and y/n was so engrossed in the movie.

"Y/n can I ask you a question?" She nodded her head but her eyes still glued to the screen.

"I was wondering if you want to go on a date with me?"

Then her eyes darted away from the screen and to me.

"Are you asking me on a date?" She asked confirming.

"Yeah - if you don't want to then you don't have to. But I just thought."

"Yeah, okay. When?"

Oh thank god for that.

"Next week? At aroma? 4pm?"

"Okay. Well let's watch this movie then I'll see you next week."

Heart attack gone. I'm so glad she said yes. Now I've got to think what to say and to wear. God, I'm terrible at dates.

~ A week later ~
~ Your P.O.V ~

"So he finally asked you on a date? Finally." My best friend said as I was looking through my wardrobe.

"Was it really that obvious that he liked me? Or am I just blind?"

"You're just blind just like blind when coming to pick outfits like these."

Y/bff/n picked up the outfit from the bed that I picked out and gave a disgusted look.

"What what's wrong with this? It's nice!"

"God I thought I needed glasses. You are not wearing this under my watch especially since it's your first date with Zach."

Y/bff/n picked out an outfit from the wardrobe and then threw it on the bed. And a pair of doctor martens.

"Boom. A decent outfit for your first date with Zach."

I looked down at the outfit on the bed, and I've got to say. It was better then the one that I picked out.

"Okay, okay I'll put it on."

I got changed into the outfit and the doctor martens. And done a twirl.

"Boom! Amazing! I should be a fashion creator. I'm always create amazing outfits for you."

"Well you're not wrong - " I got cut off by the doorbell and I checked who it was on my phone and it was Zach.

"He's here. Okay. I can do this. Just a chill date and nothing more to it."

"Just don't have sex and you'll be okay!"

"Y/bff/n, dude! I'm not going to hag sex on the first date!"

I opened the door to see Zach standing there fixing his jacket.

"Hey y/n! You ready?"

I turned around and saw y/bff/n standing there giving me the 'don't you dare have sex' face and I mentally flipped her off.

"Yes! Come on!" I walked out of the house and shut the door. Then followed Zach into his car.

He put his aux on and the song "be a bro" by avenue beat came on and a bright smile appeared on my face.

"This is the song that I told you about. Did you add it to your playlist?"

"Yeah. I listened to the song and thought it was really good, so I decided to add it."

I smiled as I started singing along to the lyrics and so did Zach. The song was on repeat for a while until we got to aroma.

We sat down and looked at the menu's talking about what we're going to have. We came to a decision, that we were going to share nachos and then a pizza together.

"I haven't had nachos in ages I forgot what they tasted like." I said digging into them.

"Same. And I forgot how good the cheese is on the nachos." Zach said avoiding eye contact with me.

I ignored it because he was probably eyeing the food just like I was...... But then when we finished he avoided eye contact again.

"Zach, why did you ask me on a date if you aren't even looking at me?"

Zach turned red but then finally looked me in the eye. "Sorry I'm just super nervous and you're really cute."

From the comment I turned so red I could feel it in every part of my body.

For the rest of the date, Zach started looking me in the eye again. And every now and again he would flirt with me. Which was really cute.

"Thanks for dropping me off." I said, "Even if it's 7 at night." I laughed.

"Anything for a pretty girl." I turned red for like the 100th time today, but then smiled.

I looked into Zach's eyes and he looked into mine. And I didn't even realise it but I started to lean it. I take that Zach took the hint, because his lips landed on mine.

We kissed each other and his hands found my waist while my found his hair.

Then we were interrupted by a cough. I looked over at Zach and saw y/bff/n.

"God. I get we're out of lockdown but covid is still going around." I gave a light laugh and looked at the floor as y/bff/n walked into the house.

"I mean she's got a point." Zach said hands still round my waist.

"Yeah she's got a point but it doesn't mean we can't kiss again?"

Zach didn't even reply back, he just started kissing me again.

And let's just say we may of nearly broke the don't have sex on the first date rule.......
