"Leo is calling!" I hear Viviana's voice from behind the bathroom door. I turned off the shower and hopped out, successfully as I didn't slip and fall while doing so since I didn't have my support on. I hopped my way over to the sink and slipped a towel around my figure. "Don't answer it!" I yell back. Whipping the fogged mirror. "You sure?" She replies. "I'm sure. I'll call him later."
I slipped on my underwear and then my bra before pulling up my shorts -- grabbing onto the edge of the sink for support. I looked around and seemed to have forgotten a shirt. I unlocked and opened the door, the cool breeze hitting my skin, sending shivers down my spine. I hopped down the small hallway, my hand placed on the wall to help keep me balanced, and spotted Viviana sitting on one of the barstools. Looking straight ahead at something. But I didn't think anything of it. I hopped over towards my bed and grabbed the shirt that I laid out earlier.
"Valentine." I hear someone clear their throat. I turned myself around and spotted someone else with her. Someone I didn't expect to see. The one person I decide to leave on hold. Leo. I stood there shocked. How would he have known I was here?
I couldn't get a word out, my mouth was held open, going dry.
I felt like I turned into stone. I wanted to move but couldn't.
He showed no emotion whatsoever. "Can you give us a moment." He looks down at Viviana, pointing towards the door. She looks over at me, as if she was asking for my approval. I nod and she stands up, leaving both me and him alone. I still stood there, not wanting to inch closer.
He started taking small strides towards me. Each step he took, the more my heart began to race. "How did you know I was here?" I managed to let out. "Why did you lie?" He disregards my question. "Have you been seeing other men? Are you seeing that friend of yours?" He begins to grow furious. Once he was a few inches infront of me he stops and glares down at me.
"What? Of course not. I didn't tell you the truth because I knew you would freak out like this!" I then say, starting to feel fueled myself.
My comment seemed to have snapped something inside of him. He brings a hand up and makes contact with the side of my face. I felt my eyes begin to tear up. But I couldn't stand there to be his punching bag. I clunched both my fists, drawing one up and quickly hitting him. He stumbled back but still held his stance. "Viviana!" I called out, in hopes that she was still behind that door. Next thing I knew, everything around me turned black.

My head was pounding aggressively. Not like a hangover, something far from that. Something much more. I slowly opened my eyes to see Viviana kneeling down grasping onto my shoulders. I hum in response. A bit too loopy to form words. "Vale." She says. I let out a groan and put a hand up to my head, as if it would do anything to help overcome my headache.
"Wh-eres he?" I try to adjust myself, but she held me in place."He fled after Fabio gave it to him." She looks behind her, I follow her stare and lock eyes with none other than Quartararo himself. He awkwardly stood there, one hand clenching onto the other. His hair was all wild and a small purple mark began forming just on his cheek bone.
I sat there in disbelief. Viviana seemed to have caught onto my confusion and spoke up. "I went and got him when I left. I knew it wouldn't end well between you two, and well.. He was the only one close by that I knew could help." She points.
"I've called Marco to come over too. For you." He finally speaks up. "Figured you'd probably want him here.." He adds. I nod and tried to stand up once more. Viviana ushers me to take it slow and stands up herself so she can give me a hand up. "Can you come help me. She's heavy." She gestures to Fabio. He walks over and takes one of my hands, pulling me up with Viviana. Whilst doing so, I couldn't help but notice the blood on his knuckles.
"Do you want me to call the ems?" He asks Viv. But as she was about to answer I spoke up. "No hospital please." I go and take a seat on my bed. "But Vale-"
The sound of the door opening grabs our attention. We looked over and saw Marco storming in. His hand tightly grasping onto his phone -- knuckles turning white.
"Ha chiamato la polizia?" He says, looking at Viviana. She nods her head slowly. "L'ho fatto, ma hanno detto che non potevano aiutarci." Disappointment written in her words.
I cut out their conversation as my head became even more infuriated. I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose, as if it would do anything. Feeling the bed sink, I opened them and saw the French rider sitting next to me. He gave me a reassuring smile whilst the other two Italians were raising their voices at eachother.
I glanced down at his bloodied and sore knuckles. I reached over and grabbed them, analyzing them and giving him a sorry look for what I had brought him into. Or what Viviana brought him into I should say.
"Valetine?" I instantly dropped his hands and looked over seeing their eyes on me.
"Yes?" I quietly let out.
"You're staying with me for the rest of the weekend." Marco brings a finger up to his chest. "What? No she's not, she's completely fine here!" Viv yells at him. "Well, it doesn't seem that way. Look at her!" He points at me. "I'll get your things Vale. Fabio.." he says, looking over at the man beside me. "Can you help?" He asks him and Fabio was quick to stand up. Ready to lend a hand wherever. That's what I seemed to have noticed about his character.
Maybe I had been a bit of a bitch to him?
I watched the two riders begin to pack my things, whilst Viviana was yelling at Marco. Grabbing the rest of my belongs that I left out before he could do so. It was almost as if I was a kid watching my parents getting a divorce. Sitting there, watching and not doing anything to interfere. Not saying a word -- if I wanted to stay with my 'mom,' or if I wanted to go with my 'dad.'
"Andiamo Vale." Marco zips up my suitcase. I shake my head, staying put. Fabio then walks over with my prosthetic in his hand. He stops infront of me and reaches out for me to take. "Thanks." I smile softly up at him. "Of course."
I slipped the end in and strapped it on. Standing up, I walked over to the other two who were still arguing about who has the 'authority' over me. I grasp onto my suitcase, causing Marco to let go. "Ah, see. Right choice Vale." He says, a bit calmer now. "I'll be staying Marc."
He eyes me, scoffing. "Whatever." He walks over to the door and slips into his sneakers. Opening the door while Fabio follows behind him. "You call me if he comes back." Marco points. I nod and bring him in for a hug. As I pull away, I then pull the other rider in for one as well. Which seemed to have caught him off guard. "Thank you. Both of you." I mutter. The two then left, closing the door behind them.
As I went to turn around, I was engulfed in her arms."Are you sure you don't want me to call? You hit your head pretty bad." I nod.
"Right.. I'll get you some advil. Go lie down."
