"I'm heading off" Kei announced, more directed towards Tadashi than any of the other boys. You had already left back to the rooms.

You weren't feeling well; mainly because Kei had been giving you some down-low attitude the whole day since the Kuroo thing

I don't actually want to go practice with them, but I did make a promise.

I wonder what y/n is doing right now, she left like five minutes earlier while we were running.

Kei spotted someone at a distance; two figures, one shorter, one taller.

He didn't give it much though as he neared the two, but as his vision got clearer, he spotted the familiar white tshirt you had been wearing earlier.

You were laughing, Kuroo stood in front of you, laughing too. When suddenly, Kuroo took a step closer and reached up to push your hair back behind your ear; Kei felt an ache in his chest.

"What the hell?" He let out, loud enough for the two of you to hear from the distance.

You turned to look at Kei, his eyebrows were furrowed; he wore a mixture of confusion and anger.

"What's going on?"

Kuroo smiled, "oh we were just waiting for y–"

"Yeah while putting your hands all over her?!" He suddenly got louder, Bokuto came out of the gym, Akashi and Lev following behind.

"Naw ma–"

"Kei stop." You stepped forward, "we were having a small conversation, I was just about to leave." You admitted.

"Sure didn't look like it with the way you were laughing it up with him,– letting him touch your hair an everything" Kei spat, now he was just angry.

"Hey hey," Bokuto walked up to the boy, "let's take a breather, gather your thoughts, maybe you saw it wron–" Tsukishima pushed his arm off his shoulder.

"'Saw it wrong' my ass. Gosh y/n, I can't believe you'd fool me into trusting you with that idiot," he motioned to Lev, "only to go around giggling it up with someone older".

You stood there, lump in your throat.

Did he really just sat that?

You felt like throwing up as your throat closed and your head felt like it was spinning.

Kei waited for you to say something, then simply shook his head and stormed off. You felt like crying, the tears were piling up in your eyes.

Yeah Kei might have seen you 'giggling it up' with Kuroo, but what he didn't see was your obviously uncomfortable expression when Kuroo reached over and grabbed your hair. He also didn't hear you sternly tell Kuroo to not touch you like that.

"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause you any problems" Kuroo stood behind you, apologizing.

You were getting yourself some gummy's from a random vending machine. "Maybe it's better that you don't hang around me for now, Kuroo" you picked up your snack and walked off, not even turning when speaking to him, he followed behind you.

"I'll leave you alone for a bit so your doofus of a boyfriend can cool off, but I want to know you're not mad at me first" he trailed behind you.

You were afraid Kei would pop out from any corner and just spot you even breathing near Tetsu and blow a fume.

"Not now," you brushed him off, increasing your speed.

"Okay now wait," kuroo grabbed your left arm, you were violently swinging it back and forth whilst walking, and pulled you to a stop. "I am really sorry. I'm gonna talk to Tsukishima, it was really unfair how he behaved yesterday. You deserve and apology from him too. But I'm sorry for causing you so many problems." He looked you dead in the eyes.

You felt teary eyed as he spoke so directly yet gentle.

Man fuck these Tokyo mfs.

"It's fine," you sighed, he raised an eyebrow, "really, it's fine. Don't worry about it, okay? I'll figure it out and sort things out with him."

Kuroo let out a big breathe, nodding his head okay.

You told kuroo you'd figure it out yourself but honestly you weren't sure how. Last time something like this happened, you were scared shitless and Tsukishima didn't make it any easier. So now that he actually saw something suspicious, you were unsure how to sort things out.

You told the guys, Shoyo and Kags, last night after the incident. They gave their opinions and such but really they were just letting you vent it all out for a bit.

"And then he said I fooled him into trusting Lev only for me to actually be flirting with Kuroo" you sighed.

"So really, he basically called you a whore" Kageyama raised an eyebrow.

"No don't say that!" Hinata smacked Tobio, Tobio pushed him back, "don't say it like that you're gonna make her feel worse," Shoyo 'whispered'.

"Well don't fucking hit m–"

"You want me to have a chat with Tsukishima?" Your turned behind you, spotting Daichi leaning on the doorway entry. "That was awful for him to react that way, I get he was upset but that's no way for him to talk to you."

You frowned, holding back your tears, "C'mere" Daichi extended his arms out, you got up and went in for a hug. "You can cry, just don't let it affect you so much. You're gonna get things sorted out." He reassured, you slightly sniffled into the hug.

"AYO HUG FEST?!" Tanaka popped out of nowhere.

"HUG FEST!!" Yū cheered, hugging Tanaka, throwing eachother on the couches in the little sitting area you had been at.

"Let's call it a day, go rest, Shimizu should be at the rooms now" Daichi patted your back as you wiped off your tears.

"Hey what's up with you and Tsukki?" Tadashi stood next to you, you sat on the benches, next to Takeda.

"What do you mean?"

"Well he's been extra quiet and moody, at first I though it was because his brothers back, but then I noticed you and him weren't talking as much either. Did you two break up? Cause if y'all broke up AND DIDN'T TELL ME–"

"We didn't break up, Yams," you chuckled, he let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh good gracious, thank the lord, school would be so awkward if you did" he rested his hand on his chest.

"Yeah" you laughed, "but... why would his brother being home affect him so much?"

You knew you shouldn't ask what didn't pertain to you, but maybe this was why Kei was extra sensitive these days. You were also very curious; he hadn't told you anything about his brother before.

"Well..." Tadashi looked to your right, Tsukishima was standing at a good distance, drying himself with a towel while drowning down some water.

"Tsukki was never all that outgoing, but after we went to his brothers volleyball game and he found out his brother lied to him, he became completely closed off" Yam's recalled.

You gave him an obviously confused look so he continued, "his brother had lied to him when Tsukki really admired him, after that they became very distant. I guess Tsukki has, like, trust issues now or something" you were shocked.

Yams noticed and gave you a look, "why do you think he took so long to let you into his bubble" he pointed out. "He knew of you, he was just afraid to let you know about him."

"Are you joining us today?" Lev approached you, you spotted Kei glaring.

"Well, I'm not sure"

"Kuroo really wants you to, he said he wants to fix things for you, he feels really bad about what happened." Lev kinda crouched a bit to reach your height, trying to whisper.

Bros a fucking giant and him squatting makes it so much more obvious he talking about someone. 

"I don't know, we'll see. I'm just, just tryna lay low y'know" you kinda motioned to Kei, Lev looked over and nodded.

"Yeah, I get it" he sighed. You spotted Tetsuro gazing at you and Lev, you could tell he was genuinely sorry, but honestly you just didn't want Tsukishima to see you with him.

You knew it was kinda stupid to be avoiding both Kuroo and Kei, but you didn't know what else to do.

"How are you feeling?" You turned to your left, Yū stood next to you, chugging his water.

"I'm okay" you had told him about getting into and argument with Kei, but you didn't specify what he said because you knew Yū would be pissed if he knew exactly what Kei had said. 

He turned to pat your shoulder with a smile, you smiled back, he then kinda just waddled away back to the team; they had to get ready for sprints again.

"I can wait for you afterwards so we can go to the extra practice again, we could really use someone to record, it helps us to see what we can fix!" He suggested.

You gave in, "okay, but just for a bit"

"Yay!"

"And where are you running off to?" Kageyama snuck up behind you, you swung out an arm in self defense, hitting him in the gut. "OWW WHAT THE HELL–"

"DON'T FUCKING SNEAK UP ON ME LIKE THAT, DIPSHIT." You screeched, Kageyama bent over in pain.

"WHY WOULD YOU HIT ME THOUGH?!"

"IT WAS PURE INSTINCT" Shoyo literally popped out of thin air and started cackling.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP HINATA" Kageyama turned his attention to the boy.

"NO– Anyways, wanna come watch us practice a bit, y/n?" Shoyo dodged the punch Tobio threw, he turned to you.

"Actually," you looked back at the gym doors, spotting Lev standing there like fucking slender man, looking around for you, "I think I'm gonna go with Lev today, he wanted me to record their practice" you explained

Sho raised an eyebrow, "oh oka–"

"What about Tsukishima?" Kageyama interupted, "doesn't he practice with them too?"

You fidgeted around a bit, "well, Yam's told me that Tsukki said he was gonna skip today... and possibly every other day".

Tobio nodded his head understandingly , he opened his mouth then just shut it, seeing Lev approaching you.

"Well if anything, we'll be in gym two" Shoyo spoke up, you let out an okay and they walked off.

"There you are! You're so short I couldn't find you!" Lev smiled.

"Short my fucking ass" you stomped on his foot, he cried out. "Let's go!"

Honestly you hate to admit it but Lev is so stupid it's actually hilarious. You were walking down the sidewalk and swiftly pointed out a huge spiderweb, he let out a scream and ran up a bit, straight into the spiderweb.

"GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF" he cried, frantically wiping his face.

"NO WHAT IF THERE WAS A SPIDER ON IT."

"Y/N PLEASE. HELP"

"NO YOU'RE SO DUMB"

"Was that good, y/n?! Was it good!" Bokuto excitedly asked, you chuckled, still filming.

"It was great Bo, good job, your spikes are nice and strong!" You complimented, he lit up.

"Hey and what about me?!" Kuroo whined.

"You're mid as fuck." You summed, Akashi started cackling which caught everyone off guard.

It got silent when he realized he literally laughed out loud.

"WHY WAS THAT SO FUNNY FOR YOU, HUH AKAASHI?!" Kuroo screeched, embarrassed.

He let out another quiet chuckle, you all laughed.

Then, some footsteps halted to a stop behind you.

"Why the fuck are you here?" Kei scowled, you tensed your shoulders.

"I asked her to come record for us" Lev spoke up from your left.

"You know I would've told you if you weren't all piss–"

"I can't believe you. You're making yourself look bad."

"Wha–"

"I trusted you, got upset over you being with him," he glared at Kuroo, "and yet you're still here. I'm sure you guys were planning on doing more than volleyball with me not here, huh?"

"Kei what are you even talking about?!"

"Gosh, can't even trust you alone anymore, didn't know you were such a wh–

"Kei it was nothing. Yesterday– yesterday wasn't even my fault yet here you are, throwing a whole hissy fit. All that happened yesterday was a conversation. I had a conversation with kuroo, nothing more and nothing less!"

"Sure didn't look like it though," he rolled his eyes.

There's no way he's doing this right here in front of everyone.

The others just awkwardly stood there, wanting to intervene but knowing they shouldn't. 

"You know what– just because your brother lied to you about some bs doesn't mean everyone else in the world is, Kei!"

His eyes widened, "what did you just say?" He started approaching you, that's when Kuroo and Bokuto rushed to stand between you and Kei.

Right as the words had left your mouth, you immediately regretted it. You shouldn't have said that.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Kei, I shouldn't have said that I'm sorr–"

"And just because you lack in the skills to make female friends doesn't mean you have to hoe around with other guys and use the 'friend' excuse" he spat.

What the fuck?

You stood there, silent for a solid minute, the guys stood next to you, jaw dropped. You couldn't believe those words came out of his mouth.

When have I ever 'hoed' around?
What have I done to make him think this way?

"You know what– let call it quits for a bit."

"W-wait what?"

"I think we need a break" you bitterly muttered out. "You obviously think I'm a whore or something when I haven't actually done anything, and I think you need to fix your little trust issues. So I say we take a break." You bluntly announced.

"Fine."

"Fine."

"Just don't come bothering me about stupid shit again" he huffed, crossing his arms.

"Okay, bye Tsukishima, goodnight Lev, night Kuroo, Bo, Akaashi."  You waved a goodby and walked past Kei and out the gym doors. Lev trailed behind you.

You left the gym biting your tongue, leaving him with a feeling of regret and an unfamiliar lump in his throat.
