Your brother told you early in the morning about Tanaka knocking tf out of the two first years to separate their scuffle, honestly you were disappointed.

"We are sorry" Hinata mumbled, you were all standing near the vending machines outside the school.

"It won't happen again," Kageyama muttered out, still looking at the ground

"Better not– Tobio's face is all fucked up, how is he gonna get girls now?!"

You pondered, gazing out the window. There was a solid ten minutes before class started and Kei had just walked in with Yams at his side, headphones on and no obvious sign of wanting to speak to anyone.

You glanced at Yams, he gave you a pitying smile, you smiled back.

You slowly turned to the side, making your way to get up.

Your desks were literally about two feet of a distance. Getting a closer look, he was gazing out the window, arm propped on his chin.

"Hey Tsukki.." you let out, a lot quieter than you expected.

He didn't move at all, simply just turned his eyes to look at you. You sighed, "what's wrong, why are you mad at me?" The obvious desperation and frustration you had been feeling was clearly evident in that sentence.

Yams just stared, watching the scene unfold, wishing he had some popcorn to watch it all play out.

Kei scowled, not letting out a single word, only a cranky "tch."

"No, stop doing that, just tell me what's going on man, what did I do?!" You grabbed his shoulders, shaking him. You were afraid if he dragged this out any longer, your frustration would come out in tears.

His eyes widened at your sudden grabbing, he scowled even more, pushing your hands off.

"Really? You wanna do this here?" It sounded like a threat, he was obviously mad.

The few people that were already in the classroom began to stare, "Yes, I don't care! Just tell me why you're ups—

He sprung out of his chair, grasping your wrist and dragging out of the classroom, Tadashi letting out a little 'ooooh'

This sucks.

You could feel that familiar lump forming in your throat as your emotions were so close to taking over you, so you simply shut your eyes close and allowed him to take you wherever he was marching over to.

"Y/n open your eyes" he stated, letting go of your arm, stopping in some empty hallway in the far side of the school.

You did so, he was staring directly at your eyes. Your sigh came out shaky as he spoke up again.

"Don't fucking cry"

Your eyes swelled up even more.

"Why are you mad at me, I'm sorry for whatever I did, I won't do it again I swear." You basically pleaded.

He tensed as your voice became significantly high pitched as you held back tears.

He stayed quiet, you closed your eyes again, covering them with your hands.

It felt like hours before he spoke, "who was that guy you were hanging out with all day yesterday and the day before?" His voice was small.

You looked up at him, "Lev?"

"Is that his name?" He rolled his eyes. "Stupidly tall and lanky, white hair?"

"Yeah, Lev." You looked at your shoes.

"Who is he?"

"His name is le–"

"No, I mean who is he to you?" He too looked down at his feet.

You paused for a bit.

So this is what it's all about.

"He's just a friend, I met him on the first day, that's all, Kei." 

"Just a friend? Are you sure? Cause it sure didn't seem like it with the way you two were laughing it up the whole ti–

"Can you stop? He's literally just a friend. And that's all he'll be– the first thing I spoke to him was literally about you, stating I had a boyfriend. He's just a friend, Tsukishima." You sternly looked him in the eyes.

His breathe hitched hearing how you addressed him.

He sighed, "you su–

"I'm sure. I'm sorry if that bothered you, I'm sorry for being such an asshole for not introducing you to him before to set things clear. I swear it won't happen again." You looked him up, he didn't say anything, so you took it as your sign to leave.

And so you did. He followed behind, head down, thinking.

"Why are you two late to class?" The teacher scolded as you made your way to your desk,

"Sorry ma'am."

"Let's have lunch!" Yams enthusiastically grinned, holding his Bento box, standing to your left.

"Sorry Yams, I think I'm going to skip lunch today" you gave him a thin smile, he frowned.

"It's not good to miss out on meals though" he tilted his head to the side.

"My tummy hurts, I'm gonna go to the bathroom" he raised an eyebrow at your poor excuse as you rushed out of the classroom.

You sighed, sitting on the toilet in the cramped bathroom stall.

Lunch is almost over,
I should head back to the classroom.

"WOAH—" you let out right as you walked out the bathroom door.

A hand gripped your arm and dragged you to who tf knows where. Then– pitch black.

Omfg did I just get kidnapped at SCHOOL?!

A sigh. "Y/n I'm sorry."

"Casper..... is that you?"

"No, dumbass" the lights flicked on, you looked around to see you were in a janitors closet. Tsukishima hovered over you, way too fucking close.

"Back the fuck up a bit man" he let out an 'oh' and quickly scurried backwards.

Some silence.

"I'm sorry." He finally looked you in the eyes. "I shouldn't have come at you with petty acusations. I guess i just got a little... jealous" he muttered.

You were still quiet, "you didn't have to apologize earlier, you did nothing wrong. I was just being stupid and rude. I'm sorry y/n, I really am."

You sighed. "It's okay. I should have let you know about lev before I befriended hi–

"No, you don't have to, all you were was friends, i was just being dumb!" He exclaimed. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay, i obviously accept your apology" you timidly smiled, his face lit up a bit, "now stop looking so upset you're gonna make me cry." You joked.

He playfully 'tsk'd, grabbing you, pulling you into a hug. "I'm sorry y/n" he sighed, somewhat resting his chin in your head, hugging you tighter. "I'm really really sorry"

"It's okay, I'm sorry too, let's just forget about this, okay?" You too squeezed him in your arms.

"Deal." He smiled, "but don't ever call me by my last name again I swear I almost had a heart attack, I hated it so much." He ranted, you laughed, letting go of the hug.

"Okay, okay" you smiled, staring into his eyes, "ima call you donkey then.

"No."

"Detention. Both of you, for being late again." The teacher scolded, eyeing you two as you finally made it into the classroom, a little over five minutes after the bell rang.

"Yes ma'am" you both sighed.

"Let's go eat something" Tsukishima let out, admiring as you messed with a small flower peaking out of the bushes in front of the school gates.  

"Like what?" You continued to examine and touch the cute pink flowers in front of you.

"Whatever you want, I guess" he shrugged.

"Mmm, i want boba" you nodded your head yes, finally facing him as you spoke

"Boba?"

"Boba."

"Okay, where's a place close by?" He took out his phone searching for locations close to you.

"There's a place about a ten minute walk from here" you informed, hooking your arm to his, grinning.

He looked down at you, a small smile forming in his face. "I don't know how I was able to be so rude to you earlier, I'm really sorry, y/n. I really do love you"

You raised an eyebrow, "stop talking like that Kei, it's sounds like you're about to kill yourself or something– BRO YOU'RE NOT PLANNING ON KILLING YOURSELF, RIGHT?!"

His eyes widened "NO— LOWER YOUR VOICE" he smacked a hand onto your mouth.

"EEWW" your voice was muffled as you struggled to rip it off.

You two managed to deal your detention till next week, telling the teacher you guys got caught up with helping someone and it unfortunay dragged on– which was a complete lie.

But the lie worked and now you got the chance to serve your 'detention' next Tuesday and it was only to help clean the classroom and stay for about thirty minutes instead of an hour.

Kei side eyed you, pointing out how if you two would've gone with your lie, you would've definitely been forced to serve it out that day.

"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT– stopping a donkey invasion is a totally believable excuse" you huffed.

"NO ITS FUCKING NOT"
