'Well, at least i'll see you when your an avatar." Y/N spoke, their eyes half open due to the fact they had to wake up quite early.
A heavy sigh escaped Norm's lips, as he just stood their, observing every movement you made, a mix of worry and sadness you had to leave the lab. The fact you had to leave him. "Y/N," Mumbling out, your head turning to his figure, "Please be safe." He finished off, as his eyes slightly wrinkle from the sad smile.

You stop packing, and rush to hug Norm tightly, Norm returning the embrace.

You were like Norm's very own child. Only feeling sadness once they leave their side. .

. . .

Feeling tense, you glance one, last look to the only home you've ever known. Home. .

You were currently flying with Neteyam, since you couldn't bond with a Banshee, a rope tightly wrapped around both your waists. The family of five looked back, saddened by the fact they had to leave, especially Ney'tiri. You just stared back at the forest, one of Ewya's many beauties of Pandora, turning smaller the further you flew.

Soft sobs had been heard from from Kiri, her lips quivered, as you glance your head to her direction, face full of sympathy for Kiri. For all of them.

It been a couple of days now, and you were fast asleep on Neteyam's chest, the cold breeze slightly flowing itself against your hair. Everybody would glance their way on you every couple of minutes to check if your doing okay, since they all care of course.

The landscape showed a bright orange colour, a tint of pale yellow snuck its way into the sunset, sun nearly out of sight in the sky.

Tuk started growing tired of flying, as she asked a sudden question, "Are we there yet?", though knowing the answer, she still asked it continuously.

. . .

Now, it was a new, fresh day, sky blue and full of fluffy white clouds. Your eyes wide awake, ready to observe everything that's happening. To see a newly area, you look down at the clear yet turquoise water, plants, such as lush green seaweed swirling and animals of such sorts making its way to places.

New Navi looked above at the flying creatures, confusion written on their faces, as some ride their canoes, while others walk around.

A grin spread across your face, the beauty of such land made you feel blissful. Eyes making its way ahead, marui's built nicely side by side, connecting itself to the underwater land.

For a couple of minutes, you felt absolutely enchanted, and still are, but, a wave of unease hit you, knowing that your human and somewhat feel scared what'll happen next.

Neteyam lands his banshee on the soft, light yellow sand, untying the the rope holding your bodies close to each other. Making your way to Kiri, you hear Jake say, "Follow me." Serious, in fact. The Navi family, including you, followed Jake behind, as more ocean like Navi surrounded your small group, Jake put out his arms to show he means no harm.

Soon after, two Metkayina boys made their way to the small group, their faces vicious, as both Lo'ak and Neteyam make formal greeting( I see you), while both boys ignore them, making their way behind, Kiri tightening her grip on your hand gently, the other one holding onto her shawl.

Giving off a spiteful smile, the Navi boys soon start directing out the tails both Lo'ak and Neteyam possess, "What is that?" One of them speak up, pointing at the tail.

"Is that suppose to be tail?" Another one adds on, while you furrow your eyebrows.

Soon, you shift your eyes to the sound of water, as a beautiful Metkayina girl elegantly makes her way out of the crystal, turquoise - like ocean, pushing her curly locks of hair on the side. Slowly, she makes her way to the boys, scolding and slapping them on the side gently, as they stop making fun your friends.

She then turns her head to face your group, specifically you, making deep eye contact for a second. Feeling a tad bit embarrassed, you turn your head back to the front, as she just slightly giggles at the cute act.
Suddenly, as sound of loud splashing comes from the water, everyone turning to face the chief of the clan, Tonowari.

He emerged out of the water, making his way to the family, Jake signing 'I see you', the Olo'eytkan of the clan responding 'I see you' as well.

Eventually, the Metkayina people stepped out of the way, making a path for Ronal, the Tsahík of the clan, her face stern and full of intimidation. Making Y/N more nervous, they step closer to Kiri, as her heart skips a beat at the sudden touch. Once more, both Jake and Ney'tiri do the formal greeting. Though, Ronal seemed more intimidating than Tonowari.

"Why do you come to us, Jake Sully?" The sudden question comes of, as Jake thinks of his response quickly before answering. "We seek Uturu." He finally replies back, Ronal's face turned to pure irritation.

"Uturu?" She says bitterly, like something unbelievable has happened.

"A sanctuary, for my family." Weary of what he must answer next, the Tsahík slowly making her way around the group.

Tonowari starts, "We are reef people, you are forest people," He looks around, showing what he means, "you skills will be nothing here." Finishing the last of his sentence.

Jake's face turns into concern. "We will learn your ways, right?" He pleads, head turning to the his family for agreement.

At the moment, Ronal was busy observing the features of the newcomers, as her light turquoise hand makes its way to Ney'tiri's slender tail, Ney'tiri looking behind to see who dares touch her. Moving on, Ronal takes Tuk's arm into her own, eyeing it closely. Tuk feeling uncomfortable, she releases herself from the position and stays with her father for safety.

"Their arms are thin." The Tsahík stated, harshly grabbing Kiri's tail, "And their tails are weak." Kiri spitefully gripping back her tail, holding it in front of her, a quiet ow heard from her.

It then came to you, her face now more serious, but in confusion, to show you didn't have a oxygen mask. She walked up to you closely, eyes wondering on your face, "They even brought a sky person." Her tone harsh, the clan gasps and whispers, as she grabs your shoulders rudely, Lo'ak pulling you away.

Ronal's eyes wandered to Kiri's hand, realising she has four fingers, grabbing her free hand tightly, she raises her voice, "These children, are not even true Navi!" Kiri pulling her hand away, your face becoming upset at this.

"Yes we are!" Kiri blurts out, the feelings mixed inside her both disbelief and bitterness.

The Tsahík grabbed Lo'ak's hand, raising it up high, presenting five fingers, "They have Demon blood!" She finishes off, while Lo'ak's head hangs low, due to feeling of shame. Jake had enough and said, "Look." Showing his hand, five fingers like Lo'ak, thankfully able to gain Ronal's attention.

"I was born to the sky people, now I am Navi." Explaining the outcome, Ronal listening closely. "You can adapt. We can adapt, okay?" Looking over to his family for confirmation. They all nod in agreement, including you.

Her face remaining serious, Ney'tiri stepped forward. "My husband was Toruk Makto." Jake's mate brags, her mates face cringing at the sudden flex. You glance over at Jake and have the urge to laugh, but decide now is not the time.

"He led us to victory against the Sky people." She finishes off. Ronal looks in disbelief.

"This is what you call victory?"

"Hiding amongst strangers?" Her voice now cold - hearted, as Ney'tiri looked down slightly. Her gaze now hardened with disappointment.

"Seems Ewya has turned her back on you." She blurted out.

"Chosen one-" Her sentence cut off by a vicious hiss from Ney'tiri, her eyes filled with rage against Ronal, as she did the same thing, leading both their mates to have a blank stare.

"I apologise for my mate." Jake steps in before things got out of hand, Ney'tiri looking at him spitefully.

"Do not apologise for me—" Getting cut off by Jake once again, "Its been a long trip and she just exhausted."
"Jake-" Ney'tiri says, Jake giving her a wide eyed stare, finally backing down.

"I just wanna keep my family safe." He softly explained.

Both Ronal and Tonowari look at each other, empathy filled their crystal blue hues. Finally, Tonowari faces the group.

"Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us." His reply sending happiness to Jake. "Treat them like brothers and sisters," continuing on, "they do not know the water, so they will be like babies, taking their first breath." The comment was the honest truth, although it was a little bit embarrassing.

"Teach them our ways, so they won't suffer the shame of being useless." His announcement ending.

'Ouch, that hurt—' You thought about the last part.

Jake let out a sigh of great relief, facing his head a little to his family, "What do we say?" He calmly reminds them.

Tuk is the first to reply, "Thank you!" She quietly shouts, as everyone else says one, except Kiri, who roughly replied 'Thank you.', Tonowari adorning a genuine smile.

"My son Ao'nung, and daughter Tsireya will show your children what to do." His comment making Ao'nung furrow his eyebrows.

"Father why do-" Tonowari pulling up his arm before his son says anymore, "It has been decided." His father's voice stern. Tsireya walks up to the group, a pretty smile shown on her face.

"Come, I will show you our village." She excitedly exclaims, offering to take a basket involving your belongings.
