Camillas emotions were a mess. Her head was pounding more painfully than it ever had before. She was running towards danger, that much she knew. But she wouldn't be Camilla Forbes if she let her sister die with out doing everything in her power to save her.

She'd do anything for Caroline. She put her through so much these past couple of weeks, even leaving the weight of her taking care of all of her goodbyes when she was supposed to die on her shoulders. No matter what happened today, Caroline would live. She promised herself that.

On the other hand, she regretted leaving Alec like that. She was happy for him, really. She knew he was always curious about who his biological parents were. But she was just hurt by his words. Did he really not see her as his real mother?

She's brought out of her thoughts when she catches sight of the one and only Hayley Marshal. The only difference between seeing her now and seeing her before was that she didn't have her hand in Caroline's chest. Her sisters chest.

Caroline was on her knees heaving for air as blood filled her mouth and she weakly looked up to see her horrified sister. Camilla nods her head slightly towards her sister making Caroline internally panic. She had no clue what her sister was going to do but she didn't want to find out. She had no strength to even shake her head no at her sister as her head lolled forward.

Hayley finally notices the blonde and smirks widely. "Finally, the whore of the family shows her face."

Camillas face hardens. "Let. Her. Go. Hayley." She grits through her teeth, her fists clenched and the veins crawling up her eyes.

"Gladly." Hayley smiles, taking her hand out of Caroline's chest and snapping the younger Forbes neck. "This is between us girls anyways. Now that I've got your attention." She cocks off. "But just for precautionary measures..." she trails off raising a hand to signal the others.

Three male hybrids come out of the woods with bright amber eyes and surround Caroline's body. "If anyone comes to your rescue, they will rip out poor Caroline's heart."

"What's wrong Hayley, scared you'll lose?" Camilla snarls as they begin circling each other like wild animals.

"Are you kidding? I'm a hybrid, I'm more than you'll ever be." Hayley laughs mockingly. Watching Camilla's every move with a smirk. Completely confident in her abilities.

"That's where you're wrong." Camilla states with a sneer. "You think I was Klaus's fiancé with out knowing how to fight? You think I survived Mystic Falls being a damsel in distress? You think I protected my hybrid son, siphoner daughters, and tribrid son with out fighting? YOURE WRONG." She screams, speeding at Hayley she kicks in her knee as Hayley falls on one knee with a satisfying crunch.

Hayley grunts in pain but grab's arm snapping it at the elbow and Camilla let's out a painful yelp. "You forgot to mention Hope. Wait, you didn't even know she was your daughter until a few weeks ago." Hayley whispers in her ear with a bloody smile.

Camilla clenches her jaw in anger switching positions with Hayley and putting her in a headlock. "You took her away from me."

"And I enjoyed every second of it. Knowing you would never get the chance to watch her grow up." Hayley yells as she breaks out of the choke hold. "Enough games." She screams and suddenly shoves a hand in Camillas chest. "See you in hell." She whispers in Camillas ear as she squeezes her heart in her hand.

Everything was so slow. She could hear her rapid heart beat in her own ears. She could feel blood dripping down her chin. Spitting up blood. So much blood.

Hearing a scream, Camilla weakly turns her head seeing Alec run out of the door with his mouth agape in horror. She watches in what seems like slow motion as Jace, Hope, Josie, and Lizzie all come running out with everyone else running out right behind them trying to keep them from seeing something they shouldn't.

Klaus and Elijah grab ahold of Jace and he struggles, kicking and cursing at them with all of his strength. The two thousand year old originals had to use all of their strength combined to keep him down.

Stefan and Damon struggle with a sobbing Lizzie as she tries to shove them off to get to her mother. Yelling in pain as she begins to syphon off of them in large amounts.

Alaric and Enzo hold a frantic Josie as she yells for her mom. Pushing Alaric down with strength unknown to her only to be tackled by Enzo.

Freya holds Hope down with her magic as Rebekah fights to keep her in place. Hope clawing and scratching Rebekah with her wolf claws.

Kol and Elena fight the pain of being syphoned while trapping Alec in their arms barely holding on.

She fought for them. They were her reason for waking up in the morning, they were the reason she never stopped fighting all these years. She only had one more battle to win.

For them.

Very weakly Camilla gains the willpower and shoves her hand into the unsuspecting Hayley Marshal's chest. The supposed queen of the Crescent pack. The queen of the wolves. At the moment, the only thing she was, was a danger to her children and sister.

Hayley yells in pain and squeezes Camillas heart even harder making her knees almost buckle from the pain. She didn't have the physical strength to kill Hayley. They both knew it.

So she silently asked the impossible question. Making eye contact with the most powerful Bennett witch to have ever lived she silently begged her with her eyes.

Bonnies tear stained eyes stare at her in confusion when she sees Camilla staring directly at her. When she sees how weak she was she just wanted to help. But Caroline would die. Camilla would rather die than let something happen to Caroline. When she saw the silent plead in Camillas eyes her confusion only grew.

Until she saw her eyes trail from her hand in Hayleys heart back to her. They both knew it would kill both of them. But it was their only choice.

"No. No. No." Bonnie mumbles in horror. Klaus being the only one to hear her turns his head to her in confusion.

It isn't until he sees Bonnie slowly putting her hand up in a fist and turning to see her and Camilla in a silent staring contest does he realize what's happening.

"NO!" He screams at the top of his lungs, but it was too late. Bonnie had already turned her hand. Magically pulling them both apart with both of their hands clenched around the others heart.

Ending both Hayley Marshal and Camilla Forbes life along with the three hybrids holding Caroline captive.

It would haunt everyone for the rest of their lives. Hearing the pure pain and panic in The great Klaus Mikaelsons voice. The tremble of his scream.

Both of their bodies fall to the floor with a loud thud, lifeless.

Grey veins spread through out Camillas whole body. Signifying that this was real. She was gone. There was no coming back. It was eerily silent before the mass chaos.

"Let go of me!" Hope screams in anger and sadness, kicking a crying Rebekah off of her and sprinting towards her mother as fast as she possibly could.

Stefan lets go of a sobbing Lizzie and falls to his knees, his eyes fluttering as he feels his heart constrict. He follows all of the kids sprinting towards Camillas body with his eyes with his mouth hanging agape.

His mind going a hundred miles a minute trying to process what just happened. All he can hear is screaming and crying. Everything was so loud. His heart thumping in his ears as he gasps for air feeling like he can't breathe.

Caroline begins to stir and groans rubbing her neck, unaware of what just happened. "What a bitch." She mumbles cracking her neck.

Elijah saw everyone around him occupied or in too much shock to do anything and figured he'd be the one to break the news since everyone else seemed lost. It's the least he could do for Cami. One of the dearest friends he had the pleasure of meeting in his life.

Speeding to Caroline he puts his hands on her shoulders. "Are you alright?" He whispers as his voice slightly cracks.

"Ugh! Where is that bitch?" Caroline groans, the screams and crying still not registering in her blurry mind state.

"Caroline." Elijah sternly mumbles. Commanding her attention. She stops her ranting to look up to the Noble Mikaelson and her breath catches in her throat when she catches the look in his eyes. They were filled with sadness and shock.

"Where's Cami?!" She frantically asks while weakly getting to her feet with the help of Elijah. She registers the crying and screaming and looks around panicked.

All of the Forbes children were sobbing messes crowded in a circle. With everyone besides Caroline and Elijah trying to pull them back.

"I don't...." she trails off in confusion. Looking towards Elijah, but he shakes his head in sadness not being able to look the younger Forbes in her eyes.

Immediately breaking down Caroline sobs as Elijah immediately attempts to comfort her. "No!" She tries pushing him away but he just pulls her in tighter as they both fall to the ground in a sobbing mess.

"Stop touching me! Don't touch her!" Lizzie screams with tears stream down her face as Damon and Kol attempt to move the kids away from the dead body of Camilla Forbes.

"Please, just don't take her. She's not gone!" Lizzie sobs with her hands wrapped around her mothers head.

Alec almost gags as he grabs his mother's heart from Hayley Marshals hand and attempts to shove it back into her chest frantically. Only to be stopped by Freya Mikaelson who watched with sympathetic eyes. "It's not going to bring her back." She softly states with watery eyes.

Stefan finally finds his ground and slowly walks towards everyone else. It felt like hours before he finally got near them. All of the adults silently made path way as he approaches. Falling to his knees infront of her he lays his head on her stomach silently sobbing in sync with all of her children as they all hold on to her for as long as they can.

Everyone watches with tear stains and grieving minds.

Kol Mikaelson wipes his tears as he walks towards a red eyed Klaus Mikaelson. His brother would always love Cami, that much he knew. Finding a love like they did didn't come around often, and even if they weren't together, grieving someone you love was all the same. Bringing his brother into a rare hug Klaus clutches onto Kol like a lifeline.

Rebekah and Freya watch as for the first time in centuries they finally acted like true brothers. It only took one amazing woman dying to bring them together.

Bonnie stares numbly at the bodies with her hands at her side shaking. Damon notices and engulfs Bonnie into a hug but she still doesn't move. "It wasn't your fault." He whispers painfully.

"S-she she was begging me with her eyes. She asked me to kill her and I did." Bonnie stutters out staring out into the distance.

"Camilla asked you to save her sister as her last dying wish." Damon assures sternly though the more he thought about it the more he wanted to break down into tears.

Everyone is left grieving and unsure of what to do next. Camilla Forbes held everyone together and now she's dead.  There was no getting her back. This was permanent. Camilla Forbes left everyone in her wake flooded with grief and sadness.

CAMILLA FORBES POV

With much effort I manage to open my eyes but immediately wince as I'm surrounded by a bright light.

As everything comes back to me I suddenly clutch my chest but find it perfectly fine, no pain or missing heart.

"What?" I mumble confused looking around until a voice from behind startles me.

"I was hoping I wouldn't have to see you for a very long time child." The voice stated with a small sad smile.

Turning around I gasp as I stare amazed at the woman in front of me. "Grams." I whisper in awe.
