You really wanted to curse the demon king for turning many humans into a demon.

It was unfortunate for you since demons have been increasing, and you had to patrol Liyue every night without breaks.

And it didn't help because the Geo Archon had decide to fake his death in the Rite of descension. And it just put you into more work.

"This sorry excuse of an archon. . ." You cursed glaring at the gray sky that Is above Ningguang.

You really didn't want to participate in this rite, but it's a part of your mission, you can't really say no, now can you? Nope.

But something caught your attention, from the corner of your eyes. You manage to catch a glimpse of a familiar blonde, with their floating companion.

"Ah, they've arrived. . ." You mumbled, walking your way towards them with ease.

"Lumine." The said girl look beside her and surprised, surprised. There she saw you with all your glory, with your usual demon Slayer uniform.

"Rex Lapis has been killed! Seal the exits!" You heaved out a sigh, before glancing at the two companions.

It was clear that they were panicking, since the Millelith has started to interrogate all the citizens in the terrace. And it was no bother since Paimon was literally grabbing your hair with her little hands.

"Stop grabbing my hair!" You hissed as you swatted her hands away from your hair.

"Alright, let's run." You didn't even let her answer you, as you already grabbed her wrist before running away.

All of you manage to run away from the watchful gaze of the Millelith, but Lumine suddenly stepped on something, alerting all the guards. Causing them to chase all of you.

You dragged her away, untill there's no escape since y'all are cornered.

'So unfair, we're literally cornered' you scoffed.

Lumine draws out her sword, but you just stay quiet cursing all the guards in front of you, wishing they all tripped when they're walking down the stairs.

"Hey girlie, hold still."

An arrow suddenly shot the Millelith, along with an unknown figure who decide to attack them and help you all escape.

"What a show off," You deadpan, which earn a nod from both Lumine and Paimon.

You all followed the ginger, but you were hesitant. You never trust ginger, especially the veggies.

Paimon was panting, and you were teasing her.

"Paimon's exhausted. . . "

You snort, before covering your mouth. "What type of muscles does a magical floating exotic food uses exactly? ," Paimon stomped her feet as she glared at you.

"So insensitive! You have no idea just how tiring floating arou— Wait! Just who are you exactly?" She glance at the ginger.

"Call me Childe."

'. . . How uncreative, a literal Child but with an E'

"Childe? What, so we're supposed to dote on you?" Paimon asked, which earn a snicker from you.

"Haha, no no, not at all. It's an alias of sorts. In Mondstadt, I don't suppose you came across a "Signora" by any chance?" Yeah, you rather not listen to them, it'll be useless since you were not there to witness what was happening.

It's not like you care or anything, just because they has delusions. Doesn't mean they're strong.

'If harbingers use delusions. . Are they basically delusional people??'

"I'm not a bad guy... Okay perhaps I'm kind of a bad guy, but I'm not here to give you any trouble."

"That's what all the troublemaker says," you shrugged.

". . . Would it be too much to ask for you to keep the sword sheathed? Haha, I thank you for your knightly nobility, Traveler. I heard of your deeds in Mondstadt, so I couldn't help but notice you during the proceedings back there.
And because I had my eye on you the whole time, I know it wasn't you. Someone else was clearly behind it."

'Yeah, you.'

You all listen to him rant some useless things at first, before he started saying something about "the walls have ears."

". . . What is he? Some sort of riddle maker?" You whisper to Lumine, not even noticing the blank look she gave you.

"Let's just go to the bank. . ."

"Okay okay," you shrugged and lead them to where the Northland bank is.

The inside of Northland bank sure is something, well for Paimon and Lumine that is, but for you. This bank just look normal.

Not bragging or anything, but if you want. You could literally buy the whole bank.

However, it was giving you headaches which made you excuse yourself from the group.

You waited near the gift shop, sometimes flirting with the seller.

Not long after, Lumine and Paimon got out of the Northland bank and they didn't even explain what happened. Like, hello? You need explanation here. But, you didn't say it and rather let yourself get dragged away by them. It's not like you're gonna get tired by running around Liyue.

–JUEYUN KARST –

Arriving at Jueyun Karst weren't a problem for you, you were literally carrying Lumine on your back since she got tired. So you decide to gave her a piggyback ride.

"And who might we be? Those that dare enter Jueyun Karst?"

Lumine got off of your back, "please take a look at these." You widen your eyes when you caught a glimpse of the sigil of permission, you didn't think that the ginger would have it. . .

"A Sigil of Permission... Many a season has passed since one was last in the presence of such an item. He before you is the mighty and illuminated adeptus, Moon Carver. Speak, traveler. What business have you here?" Before Paimon could answer him, seems like the Millelith had followed you all.

"It's the assassin! They dared to flee here to Jueyun Karst!" The sergeant spoke.

"Sir, we've already stepped too far into Jueyun Karst ourselves. . ." One of the soldier spoke, looking at the sergeant with a nervous glance.

"We. . .Argh, there's no choice. Apprehending the assassin is top priority, we must press on!"

Moon Carver didn't like this, he basically ordered Lumine to fight them off since they have disturbed him.

After fighting them off, Paimon began explaining what had happened in the Rite of descension. Which resulted in him yelling preposterous over and over again.

"The Liyue Qixing. . .utterly disappointing. How could someone possibly assassinate Rex Lapis during the Rite of Descension. . .And then place suspicion upon the attendees!?"

You didn't really wanna listen to what they were talking about, but luckily for you, a butterfly has passed by making you chase after it.

You were so close on catching it, but Lumine suddenly appeared behind you and dragged you away from Jueyun Karst.

Not even noticing the sweatdrop Moon Carver. "Is that really the strongest god in [Planet Name]???"
