โ€“Still your P.O.V

There is one thing I always hate the most.

Getting out from my house only to do some weird mission.

And what weird mission you might ask?

Helping this young wind 'borrowing' the Holy Lyre Der Himmel.

Yeah, right, borrowing.

So we watch as Venti talked to the sister until he straight up expose himself, but just got rejected.

#sad_life.

Can we get an F for Venti in the chat?

So when he came back to us, he look so dejected that I just want to laugh at his face. He told Lumine to try and talk to the sister.

But only to get rejected again, they look at me waiting for me to go talk to the sister.

But I decline by saying, "you see how she rejected you, Mr. Barbatos? So why would she agreed on giving me the Holy Lyre?"

"So... Steal it?"

"You bet."

And that's what we did, we steal the Holy Lyre, well more like I did the stealing, those two just waited outside with Venti.

What a pain.

Anyway, a Cicin mage tried to steal the lyre first, not before I simply... Behead her.

Tehee~

So, I got out the cathedral safely whilst being chased by these guards, and then yanked those two off the railings and fly like there's no other.

We landed safely outside of the tavern and... Yeah, "Hi, we'd like a seat at your ahhh... least conspicuous table."

Wow, just. Wow.

"Umm... The second floor has fewer customers, you'd be less conspicuous up there... But aren't you a bard? Why not sit front and center?"

Before Venti would answer, I cut him off by shoving his head away. "Please stop questioning and let us pass, I'll pay the bill that this bard never pay." Without waiting for a respon, I dragged them to the second floor.

They asked what happened in the cathedral, so I lied to them saying that the Holy Lyre was stolen.

Now why would I lie? That's what they get for making me get out of my house just for this stupid robbery mission, what would Oyakata-sama said to me!?? And I would most likely be nagged by those two again.

And if I get in trouble just because of this, imma have to whoop their non-existent asses.

In the second floor, we watch as Diluc converse with the guards.

And as soon as they leave, Venti just jumped down from the second floor just for choosing a drink, and I watched. Unfazed with the situation.

"This is why I called Venti a dumbass, he could play a song in return for Mora and then buy all the apple he want." I sigh and give the bag of Mora to Diluc.

"[Name], who is he??" I look at Paimon and at Diluc.

"This red head is Master Diluc, the owner of this lovely tavern." I said.

"I just heard about some thieves from the guards. For the record, I like your guts for trying to steal the Holy Lyre der Himmel. Even if you are fools... but we don't often get to see people like you." I secretly grin.

"It wasn't us that stole it! The real thief is still out there."

'Yeah, no. The real thief is me... Tehee~'

"This is the hotshot of the Knights of Favonius. Why would someone so aspiring steal Mondstadt's sacred treasure?" Venti asked.

"Hotshot...? Oh so it's you."

"So, you and the bard are close friends?" He asked.

"We're not close, actually." Lumine answered.

"He's asking that, so you could pay all of Venti's unpayed bills." I bluntly said. Looking boredly at the grinning bard.

"That is true... But, despite only being a passing traveler, you still offered your help to Mondstadt in its time of need.
Diluc: A shame you joined the Knights."

"Wait- I wanna say it!" They look at me questioningly expect for Diluc, who is looking very proud.

"Ahem! The Knights of Favonius... Inefficient right from beginning to end." I said, mimicking his deep voice.

"Good job." I smile as Diluc patted my head. As the other three just sweatdrop upon seeing the flowery background behind me.

"And towards the Fatui? Weak and conservative. Forget it. I don't feel like talking about it." He continued, shaking his head in disappointment.

He looks so done.

"Seems you don't really like the Knights of Favonius." Venti said, amused with Diluc's dislikes for the Knights.

"This man doesn't like anythingโ€“" the said red head basically shut my mouth by placing his gloved hands on my hand.

Rude.

"Just differences in approach is all. I have my own hopes for this city. Now, answers. Why did you steal the Holy Lyre?"

"If I tell you the story with a performance, will you believe me?" Venti asked.

"It depends. I'll make my own judgement." He shrugged.

"Then will I get paid?" I sweatdrop at the question.

'He seriously didn't earn any mora despite being a bard?'

"Your reward will range from anywhere between five Mora and the Holy Lyre. It all depends on your story." Venti nod and began telling the story.

"What did I just witness... This is confidential information. Why did you let me know?" He mumble.

"Why? Hmm... Perhaps the winds are changing." He hummed.

I walked towards one of the stool and take a seat, it was tiring having to stand around just to listen some conversation.

Oh and Jean had said something to me, she said that I have to help Lumine finding his missing brother.

More work, yayy.....

"Interesting. Give me some time. I'll organize some contacts. Outlander, as one of the Knights it seems you're not a suspect. Blonde is the only description on the wanted poster. You should be safe. As for the bard and [name]-san however, it'd be better if you both stayed in the tavern."

Venti laughed, "haha. No problem! I like taverns." Diluc lowly grumble seemingly regret to let the bard stay in his lovely tavern.

While I simply look around and tap my fingers rapidly on the wooden counter, the travelers had already left which leave me, Diluc and Venti alone in the tavern.

"I was wondering, [name]? What's with the box?" Venti asked, pointing his finger to the box that Eichi is residing in.

"Oh this? It's for Eichi."

"Eichi?" Venti asked, both him and Diluc look confused on what I was talking about.

"Uppermoon 5." I simply said, but remembering that they have zero knowledge about demons rank, I mentally cursed at myself.

"Ahem, twelve Kizuki is an organization of the 12 strongest beings amongst Demon-kind, second in strength and authority only to the Demon King himsef. The Twelve Kizuki are divided into two groups, the six Upper Ranks numbered one through six, and the six Lower Ranks, also numbered one through six."

"But why would you save an uppermoon?" I hum and began explaining what happened and how I first met Eichi.

"Is that so?? He has been serving you, by being your butler?"

"Basically, yeah." I shrugged and placed the box down on the counter.

Diluc then suddenly walked out of the tavern, so it was just me and Venti.

I kept telling him how cool Eichi is and he was eager to see what the man look like, and since it was dark, I have no problem to open his box and let him out.

"Woah! He looks cool!" I smiled proudly and patted the kid version of Eichi.

Diluc had arrived back in the tavern along with Jean, and was surprised to see a kid sitting on top of the counter.

"Yo, Diluc! Great timing. I want you too meet my dear Eichi~" I cooed and squish my cheeks on to his.

"I-I see... It is nice to meet you, Eichi."

The demon nod his head, "likewise." I continue to gush over the little demon while pinching his chubby cheeks.

"And hello, Jean." I waved my hand at the blonde and continue pinching Eichi's cheeks.

While we wait for the traveler, I decide for us to play UNO.

============================

Eichi's face claim would be Diablo from Tensura, since I couldn't help but think they're somewhat similar in personalities.

Both being a crybaby, yet powerful.

Anyway- here's more information about this book, that I totally did not forget and had just remembered now:

- [name]'s personality is a mix between Undertaker from Black Butler and Dazai from Bsd.
