Laughter and chatter could be heard as I walked around the streets in Liyue harbor, left and right. I could see children playing and having fun, chattering with their parents and playing with their friends.

It gets kinda irritating that you have to hear people talking and laughing so loud, but I guess I'm a little glad that these mortals are enjoying their lives.

But, can't they just.... Tone it down a little? My ears hurt.

Like, don't they get tired with talking and laughing all the time? I get tired when I have to talk all the time. It's too much work, and I don't like that.

Call me lazy but that's just the truth.

"Now, where was I supposed to go again? Oh right... Mondstadt." I sigh, Mondstadt and Liyue was very faaar away, even with the waypoint I'm still feeling lazy of going there.

And teleporting make me sick.

"Well whatever, better go now before someone nag me to go." I shivered at the thought of someone with black-red hair nagging me to finish my mission early.

It's kinda annoying, but meh.

"Aren't you supposed to be going to Mondstadt now?" I flinch when I heard that familiar voice.

The voice that would most likely nag me anytime sooner, "Yoriichi-san!! Nice to see you here~" I nervously smile and face the taller male.

"Why are you still here?" Hearing his statement cause an imaginary arrow pierced through my heart, and blood flowed down from my mouth.

"Ack! Yoriichi-san you wound me."

"[Name]..."

I put my hands up in defense and sigh, "Hai hai, I'm going, I'm going." I grumble and walked away from the male, not before he called me back.

"Here, don't get hungry on the way." I look at the bento before looking up at the black-red haired male with a terrified look.

"Y-you made t-this?"

"No, I asked Kochou to make it." I didn't know why, but hearing Shinobu made me a bento instead of Yoriichi, made me let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh thank goodness." I mumbled.

Yoriichi cannot cook, and if he cooked me food. I'll most likely die right now, and I don't want that! I still wanna lived y'know.

"I'll get going now, don't miss me too much~" it was supposed to be a joke, but seems like my dear Yoriichi take it too serious.

"That would be impossible, I always miss you."

'Ack! Saying it with that cute, innocent face is illegal!'

"I– That's illegal! I'm sueing(?) You for being to cute!" Yoriichi only smiled before walking away.

I grumble and stomped my way towards the waypoint and Yeet– I mean, teleport myself to where Mondstadt is.

I mean, even if I'm fast I'm still too lazy to walk.

What? I'm not going to walk for +2.000 metres! I'm too lazy to do that.

Well anyway, it didn't take long for me to arrive at Mondstadt, I saw Lynn making some food there before waving her hand at me. I saw the bridge and walked over it.

Not even minding the shouts I received from Timmie because I scared his pigeons.

He said it's not going to come back just like how father, well I feel ya buddy. My father also went missing when he was out getting some milk, and I never saw him after that.

Tragic, I know right.

Anyway~ I was greeted by Lawrence and Swan and then I walked inside and was greeted by more people.

This is what you get for being famous.

Then I saw everyone's favourite Cavalry captain, Kaeya Alberich along with my favourite little Elf. Klee.

"Big sister [name]!! You're here! Do you want to fish blasting with me???" I crouch down and patted her hat.

"Maybe later, I need to talk to master Jean about something." I flashed the two of them a smile before continuing my way to the headquarters.

When I walked up the stairs, I was once again greeted by Majorie, Katheryne, Sara even Timaeus and Sucrose. Who is surprising here.

And I'm guessing that blondie alchemist is still in dragonspine, investigating something that I don't want to know.

The last time I saw Albedo, he gave me creeps.

He asked me if he could study me, with a creepy smile and his eyes held mischief in it. And when I hesitantly agreed, he literally shoved a whole bottle of unknown potion in my mouth and it made me dizzy.

And the last thing I know, I was restraint.

In a chair.

While he look at me up and down and write something down his notes.

That was basically the first time I feel afraid of someone, and never again do I want to see him.

Nope, never.

Enough of that, I continue my way towards KoF headquarters and opened the door and another door that was basically Jean's office.

When I walked in, I feel like I almost ascended to heavens. Nope, not Celestia, I don't like that place. I like my own home.

Two beautiful women standing and conversing with each other, before they noticed my presence.

"[Name]-san, you're here. That's a relief." I bow my head at the two of them to show respect.

"So, I'm guessing... Missing people?" The two look at me with wide eyes.

This is what happened if you had encounter many missing people problem for the 16th times. "Sigh... I'll finish this quickly..."

I grumble before walking out of the office, not even letting those two gave me the hints. I don't need to, all I need is to asked the Knights that was on patrol and Boom! Finish.

Still wondering why the Knights can't finish this themselves... Sigh.... So inefficient.

"I spy with my own two eyes... A bird." I sigh and jumped down from the tree I was resting at.

The demons haven't come yet, and all I could do is basically laze down and do nothing.

But that it until I heard the bushes rustling, I touch the hilt of my blade, ready to attack if it's a demon.

But turns out, it was only a cat.

"Where the heck is the demon!??" I angrily shouted, and harshly kicked a pebble that is blocking my way.

Before I heard a wince.

I walked up to where I heard the wince and surprisingly saw a demon wearing a butler outfit, "who in the actual Fu- are you?" I asked, glaring at the demon while pointing my sword at it.

"P-please don't kill me... I'm not the demon who cause the people to went missing instead I'm here to drop them off." He look scared, but that doesn't change the fact that I would put my sword down.

"State your name and tell me your real reason."

"E-Eichi... I'm here because I wanted to get out of that man's cursed, I can't stand it! He would always torture us and gave us pressure! I want to be free... A-and that's why i-i'm at Mondstadt... Then I also saw another demon t-that is going to devour two kids... S-so I decide to interfere and k-killed the demon because my status is higher than it... P-please don't kill me!"

Seeing him in the verge of tears made my heart soft, and thanks to my keen nose like Tanjiro's I can tell that he was sincere with his own words.

"Hey... Have you killed anyone??" I asked, stretching out my hand for him to get up and not crouching down.

"N-no... I only drink animal blood...."

"You're uppermoon 5, no?" Eichi slowly nod his head and wiped his tears with his sleeves.

"Aww~ don't cry, you can join me in my travels if you want to! I don't mind."

He look shocked, I mean I don't blame him. Who in the right mind would told a demon to join their travels? Of course no one, but knowing Tanjiro's sister is also like that, I wanted to try it on my own.

"And we can train together so you can be as strong as Uppermoon 1!" I exclaim, placing both my hands on his shoulders.

"B-but... You're a human..." I almost snort at him, but I held it in.

"It doesn't matter! There's a demon Slayer that travel with a demon and I am curious on how it's like!"

"T-then... I- I want to join you!" My smile widen and patted his head, before telling him to wait here.

I ran back inside of Mondstadt, with the two kids that Eichi had saved back to their homes.

I grabbed some wood and asked Wagner if he knows how to make a box, and he did.

So I asked him if he can make it fast, so he get to work while I wait for it.

When he's done, I thanked him and pay him. Before running to where Eichi is, he may be wondering why I was taking so long.

When I arrived where Eichi is, I saw him trying to stay awake. "I'm back! Here, can you try to fit inside this box??" Eichi look at the box then back to me.

He nod his head and shrunk down, "aww!! You're adorable!" I gushed over his smaller form and saw him trying to get comfortable in the box.

When I knew he's comfortable, I closed the box and placed the straps on my shoulders and started walking to Jean's office.

He wasn't that heavy, instead he was very light.

I could hear soft snores coming from Eichi and that made me let out a small smile, when I reach the headquarters. I open the door and another door that led to Jean's office and tell her what happened.

Then I went to my temporary home in Mondstadt and go placed down Eichi's box and took him, he was sleeping so I carefully carried him to a spare bed and place him there. Not forgetting to close the curtains and all.

So in the morning, he wouldn't suffer from the sun.

I gently closed the door and get ready to bed.
