DR. NIELSON LISTENED IN using his stethoscope. He nodded as he placed the drum on various parts of Wanda's stomach. Y/N sat beside his wife while Vision leaned against the sofa watching it all unfold.

"Yep!" The Doctor abruptly said, putting away the stethoscope, "You're definitely pregnant."

Wanda chuckled nervously, "Well, that much we figured."

"It's just kinda sudden." Y/N began to say before turning to Wanda, "Quite suddenly, wasn't it? I mean, practically overnight."

"How did this happen?" Vision chimed in.

Dr. Nielson shook his head before giving his explanation, "You see, when a man and a woman love each other very much..."

Y/N shot a look at both his wife and brother before the former interrupted the doctor.

"Well, we're just tickled pink, or blue." Wanda chuckled as she got up from the sofa.

"You're about four months now. Is that right?" He asked her.

Y/N stood beside Wanda and shook his head, not seeing that she was doing the opposite and nodding. Once he noticed, he quickly nodded with her in agreement.

"I thought as much." Dr. Nielson said, "We let the little ladies keep tabs on their growing babies with fruit. Makes it simple for them."

Wanda glanced at Y/N after the doctor's remark. He kept explaining his fruit tactic.

"At four months, the fetus is about as big as a pear. At five months, a papaya. Six, a grapefruit. Seven, pineapple. Eight, honeydew."

"Hypothetically speaking, what size fruit would it be at, say, hmm, 12 hours?" Y/N asked as he placed his hands on his waist.

"Uh, pardon? 12 hours?" He asked.

"Well, I think this line of questioning is fruitless." Wanda said with a chuckle.

"Y/N has a swell point. Hypothetically speaking, should we be concerned?" Vision asked.

The doctor chuckled and pat Vision on the shoulder, "Hypothetically speaking, people tend to get nervous. That goes for uncles-to-be like you."

"Well, I have nerves of steel, so there goes your theory, Mr. Doctor."

Y/N put an arm around the synthezoid and nervously chuckled, "Vis, why don't we see the doctor out?"

He gave a smile, "Sure! All right."

The two started to walk the doctor out the door, "Thank you so much for dropping by, Dr. Nielson." Y/N said.

"Well, I'm just glad you caught me in time. I'm taking the wife on vacation this afternoon."

"Oh! Have a nice holiday." Vision said. Y/N looked to his left and saw his neighbor by his bushes, "Hey, Herb!"

"Hey, buddy!" He called out.

Y/N turned back around and faced the doctor, "Listen, you can keep the news of Wanda's...pregnancy...just between us because, uh, I don't know...everything's happening so quickly. We'd like to keep the news just in family for right now."

"Of course." He zipped his lips, "Mum's the word."

Y/N laughed along with Vision as he continued.

"I'm off. Bermuda, baby!"

The doctor walked off, and Y/N looked back at Herb. He rose a brow as he noticed him cutting into the concrete barrier with his hedge-trimmer.

"Hey, Herb!" This time Vision was the one calling out to him, "Think you might've taken the hedge-trimming a little too far there, old chum."

"So, I have." Herb gleefully replied, eyes glued to the two of them and still continuing his sawing, "Thanks, buddy."

"Yeah...don't mention it." Vision was also confused, and the two brothers walked back inside the house and Y/N started shutting the door.

"That was strange. I've never seen Herbβ€”" Y/N was interrupted by a shout from Vision, "Whoa, Nelly!"

Y/N turned back around, "What?" He then saw Wanda near the dining table, her stomach bigger than it was mere minutes ago.

"Wow! Have you gotten bigger?" Y/N asked in awe.

"Have I? I can't tell from this angle." Wanda replied, then turned around and unknowingly knocked over a fruit from the fruit bowl. Y/N used his enhanced speed to run over and catch the falling produce.

"I can't wait to be..." He chuckled softly before pointing at the fruit, "a proud papa-ya."

WANDA HELD A SMALL BOWL of orange slices as she used her powers to assemble the crib. Y/N, on the other hand, was painting one wall of the room since Wanda was also using her abilities to paint the others. Vision sat on the chair reading a book.

"Nesting." Vision began reading, "The overwhelming urge during pregnancy to clean, organize, and prepare the home for the new baby."

"See, you guys are experts already. You have nothing to worry about." Wanda said.

"Nothing to worry about outside of morning sickness, mood swings, aching back and..." Vision put down the book as he looked up at Wanda still at work, "You should probably rest."

"Don't be silly." Wanda replied as she chewed on an orange slice, "All I feel is excitement, happiness, and-"

Wanda gasped upon feeling a kick in her stomach. That got the attention of Y/N, so he put down the brush and stood up.

"Kicking? Already?" He asked.

"Wow." Vision said in awe as he looked at her belly. Y/N placed a hand on it.

"It's a weird feeling. It's kind of fluttery." Wanda giggled.

Suddenly, the crib mobile containing plastic butterflies turned into real ones, and the butterflies fluttered around the room.

"Oh, did I do that? I didn't mean to." Wanda asked, then opened the window to let them all out.

"Well, if that's the first kick..." Vision flipped through the pages of the book, "that puts you at about...six months!"

"Boy, oh, boy, I thought we had super speed." Y/N slapped the side of Vision's shoulder with the back of his hand.

"I can't keep up." Vision replied, then began speaking to his unborn nephew/niece, "Don't misinterpret. I can't wait to meet you, little Billy."

"Billy?" Wanda asked.

"You're naming my kid now, Vis?" Y/N chuckled.

"I was just giving my choice."

"Well, I was thinking Tommy." Wanda said, "Just a nice, classic, all-American name."

"Hmm, Tommy's nice. But then there's Billy, isn't there?" Vision responded, "Named after William Shakespeare. All the world's a stage. All the men and women, merely players."

"Only thing that can settle this debate...is if it's a girl." Y/N told them, "In which we name her Vivian."

"Vivian? That's a nice name." Wanda remarked.

Y/N nodded. He didn't know where that name came from, but it just popped in his head. It felt meaningful to him.

"Viv? I can go for that. Sounds like her uncle Vis." Vision told them.

The three of them laughed before Y/N spoke again, "Well, we ought to decide soon. If our timing is correct, I estimate the baby's due..."

Y/N started to do the math in his head. Wanda and Vision watched as the young man took his time in finding the solution. Vision already did the math himself and was simply waiting for what his brother calculated.

"The baby's gonna be here before you figure it out." Wanda joked.

Y/N continued to mumble to himself, but Vision abruptly answered for him.

"Friday afternoon."

Y/N's eyes widened, "In three days?"

Wanda was also in shock. She bit into another orange slice before replying, "Maybe I should rest."

VISION AND Y/N SAT at the table, the synthezoid being on one end and the man being on the other. They both had a doll in front of them.

"Start the clock." Y/N called out to Wanda, who was occupied in the kitchen.

She did so, and the two brothers raced to put a diaper on the doll. They both had enhanced speed, but Vision ended up being faster and beating Y/N.

"Time." He stated.

"Looks like Uncle Vis wins." Wanda told them through the open shutters leading into the kitchen.

"Yes!"

Y/N laughed and got up from his seat. He went over to Vision and slapped him on the back, "Looks like you're the go-to for diaper duty then."

Vision looked down at the doll and shook his head upon the realization. Suddenly, Y/N heard Wanda in the kitchen. "Oh."

"Darling?" Y/N asked.

She held her stomach, feeling small contractions. "Ooh. Does any of the books talk about this? It's not painful, but it's strange."

"A tightening sensation?" Y/N asked.

"Yep, that's it."

"Yes. I actually read something about that not that long ago." Y/N replied as he picked up the book on the table. He flipped through the pages and immediately made it to the section.

"Braxton Hicks contractions, also known as false labor, usually starts in the third trimester." He read, then gave the book back to Vision, "This gives us a chance to work on our breathing exercises."

Y/N walked into the kitchen and started to demonstrate the breathing exercises he read about. Wanda tried them, but to no avail.

"Yeah, it didn't work. I could still feel it."

Y/N shook his head, then Wanda suddenly groaned again. Her discomfort caused the lights to flicker and the faucet to overflow the sink.

"What the...What the Dickens?" Vision ran into the kitchen.

"What's happening now?" Wanda asked.

"Abandon the kitchen!" Y/N shouted and the three of them ran back into the living room.

The lightbulbs continued to flicker until the main light in the living room lit brighter until it popped. The three of them got in a defensive stance.

"It stopped." Wanda said.

"Yes. I'll go check on the neighbors." Vision replied, then walked out of the house.

Y/N and Wanda stayed in for a bit and waited for him. It wasn't long until he returned.

"Seems like the whole block is out." He informed them.

"Oh, and that was a fake contraction." Wanda said as she walked back towards the sofa, "Who knows what will happen when the real thing starts."

She sat down, and Y/N stood with his hands on his waist as Vision walked up beside him.

"Do you think they know it's my fault?" Wanda asked.

"Our neighbors?" Y/N asked back.

"Well, yes, with all the close calls we've been having, it seems the people of Westview are always on the verge of discovering our secret."

Y/N began to think and glanced at Vision before responding, "Yes, I know what you mean. But it's more than that, isn't it?"

Y/N rubbed his chin as he continued, "Mr. and Mrs. Hart, dinner. Outside with Herb..." He paused for a moment then looked straight at Wanda, "I think something's wrong here, Wanda."

Y/N began to think and glanced at Vision before responding, "Yes, I know what you mean." His expression changed from a confused look to a proud one, "The truth is, we are in uncharted waters...and you know what? I'm anxious, too."

"Don't forget about me. My nervousness is about to fry my circuits." Vision chimed in.

Wanda smiled, grateful that she had both Y/N and Vision with her while going through this, "Tommy is going to be one happy kid."

"You mean Vivian?" Y/N replied.

"Billy." Vision said.

"Mmmmm, I'll put a pin on it."

Suddenly, Wanda gasped as she felt a much bigger contraction.

"Oh! Are you all right?" Y/N asked.

"This is a real one!" Wanda exclaimed.

"What?" Y/N turned to Vision, "I thought you said Friday afternoon, SeΓ±or Super Computer!"

"Well, I didn't consider that the timings between developmental benchmarks could be quite random!"

Vision started to panic too, and Y/N took it upon himself to bring back the exercise.

"Okay...okay! Gather around. Let's do this right this time." Y/N waved over Vision and Wanda, and the three of them began to do the breath exercise. After a few moments, everybody began to calm back down and Wanda felt relaxed.

"Better." She said.

"Yes, yes...it's passing." Vision said.

Y/N grinned in accomplishment, but then he heard a clap of thunder in the house and it started to rain. The three of them started to get drenched.

"Y/N?" Wanda softly said.

"Uh, yes, dear?"

"I think my water just broke."

Y/N nodded, understanding that was what the rain signified. "Yes, dear."
