"Mori-oppa~"

The flight to Maui, Hawaii was delayed another three hours and Jisoo had nothing else better to do. While most of her friends went through the terminal to explore or buy more things for the trip, Jisoo stayed behind with Mori, her bodyguard, in the private terminal. Provided by Bighit.

"Yeah, honey?" He replied, peering over her as she leaned onto his arm.

She was clearly still sleepy from the long drive to Incheon Airport.

"I just realized. . . . I don't know much about you." She mumbled, looking up at his handsome face.

She noticed the scar on his left cheekbone. She's always wondered how that happened but was too scared to ask. Besides, he might not want to actually talk about it.

So she never asked.

Mori just chuckled a little, putting down his book. "You know a lot about me, Honey."

"No, I mean. . . . What did you do before becoming. . . . you know, before becoming you?" She asked again, turning her head back down.

"What did you do before being in the military and all of that."

Mori grew quiet. It wasn't the first time someone has asked this and he had no problem with telling everyone his story but with Jisoo, he felt as if she shouldn't know anything.

It wasn't the fear of being judged by her, he could care less. But it was the fear of ruining her thoughts. Her image of him.

So, in a way, he was scared of being judged by her. To a certain level.

Did he think he would ever care about someone he had to protect to this level? No, he didn't.

He cared about his other clients before but Jisoo was special. Besides, it wasn't like she wasn't going to etch her way into his heart.

She was an impossible girl to not like.

"That's. . . . a very serious and longish story, tiny monster." He replied, quietly.

Jisoo looked up at him again, with curiosity blooming in her shiny blue eyes.

"We have time."

Sensing that she wasn't going to let it go, Mori sighed. Their flight was delayed for some hours and they were the only ones in the terminal right now, why not.

"What I did before this. . . .wasn't something a person should ever get involved with." He started off. "I wasn't always a "good person". "

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is. . . I was in prison before all of this."

Jisoo's eyes saucered into the size of dinner plates at this information. But it only made her more curious.

"Why where you in prison? What happened?"

He shrugged. "I fell down the wrong path as a college kid. I was dealing with financial issues, family issues and I was very self destructive. I got angry very easily and I fought a lot."

". . . .is that why you went to prison?" She asked, honestly scared to know the answer to that but also wanting to know.

The stoicism that covered his face made Jisoo believe that she probably struck a nerve by asking that. And then she began to wonder if she should have said anything.

But Mori answered, like he always did. But this time, with much reluctance.

"My friend. . . .she was around your age, at the time." He began. "Beautiful. . . very cute and playful, just like you."

Jisoo softly smiled at his words. It always felt nice to know he thought so highly of her.

"She was also too curious for her own good, just like you." Mori playfully poked her nose.

An action that made her giggle adorably.

"Way too curious. . . . ." As he said that, his voice trailed colder and quieter. "One day, during a college party, she was way too intoxicated to be left on her own. . . . I had searched everywhere in that big white house. To make sure she was okay."

Jisoo rose her head up to stare at him face to face. Letting him continue.

". . . . And when I did find her. . ."

It didn't take a rocket scientist to know why he trailed off. Jisoo wasn't stupid. She knew what he meant. What he couldn't say.

And to know that something like that happened to his friend, sickened her. And it saddened her even more to know Mori had that saying down on his head all these years.

". . . ." He stayed quiet, fiddling with his book spine. ". . . . I just kept hitting him. . . .out of anger, frustration and pain."

". . . .did you. . .you know?" Jisoo asked nervously, hoping he didn't.

Mori nodded his head. "I was close. . . . Too close. . . .but I didn't. . . I was stopped before I could."

"How did you get the scar on your face?"

Mori's hand reached to touch his fading scar, nearly forgetting that it was there.

"Prison fight. . . . I was in there for a very long time." He simply said, looking at her this time. "I won. . . .not something I'm proud of."

Jisoo stared at him. He had so much underneath his titanium walls. And yet those were the things that caused him to have those walls to begin with. No wonder he was so cold. Or not very sociable.

"Well, for what it's worth, I'm glad you protected your friend." She said, hoping to get a smile out of him. "And I'm glad you are here so that I can have a friend like you."

Mori offered her a small smile while she gently caressed the side of his face, rubbing the scar softly.

Mori smiled back at her.
"I'm glad to be your friend, too Honey."

It was safe to say that Jisoo now has more to add to him.

Takeda Morimoto was anything things.

Ex convict, ex military, ex marine, mma fighter, a very tsundere bodyguard and person. She was almost certain she had annoyed him more times than she could count.

But he was a friend, above everything.
