Yin was startled hearing Junpei calling them out, separating from Fuuka and staring in the direction he and Akihiko were coming from, once close, Akihiko turned to Fuuka.

Akihiko: "Fuuka Yamagishi I presume"

Fuuka: "Huh?... Oh, yes! You all... Came to rescue me?"

Junpei: "Yeah! I have to say, I'm amazed you're okay! There's monsters around here, you know?"

Fuuka: "So there really is something here... I've managed to avoid being spotted by any of them so far..."

Akihiko: "They never saw you? Not even once? How?"

Fuuka: "I'm... Not sure how to explain it, it's kind of like I can sense where they are..."

Yin (Thinking): "Ah, right... They couldn't have known of the moon, since that kid seems to only appear to Makoto and I..."

Something was happening in the shadows of the Arqa block, a pawn Jyamato was standing still in front of the same shadowed figure from Yin's Rider awakening, the figure held out a Desire Driver, alongside a weird Buckle...

???: "You should feel honored dear, you will be the first to test out this new toy your brothers and sisters will use, how lucky you are!~"

The Jyamato grabbed both items, putting on the Driver before speaking in a distorted voice...

Jyamato: "... hEn...shIn..."

A mass of vines engulfed the Jyamato, before they broke off, revealing a panting and twitching Rider, like if it was barely able to contain itself...

???: "Haha! Simply marvelous! Now go my dear... And test our little Yinny~"

The Jyamato did as it was told, walking away to pursue our heroes, speaking of them...

The four had just arrived at the entrance, what they saw... Not very pleasant Mitsuru and Yukari were on the ground, two shadows towering over them.

Akihiko and Junpei rushed down the stairs, Akihiko summoning Polydeuces to bash at the Empress, but the attack proved to be futile, making no damage to it, seeing this Akihiko tried using a Zio attack, bringing the shadow down as it fell, as this was happening, Junpei was dealing with the Emperor, dodging it's sword before trying to attack with Hermes, holding it in place as Akihiko launched another Zio at it, no effect, then Junpei tried Agi... After some bursts of fire, the two shadows were down, not becoming a slush weirdly enough, letting Yin, who had been staying alongside Fuuka to guard her, come down the stairs alongside her... but suddenly, many magic rings started floating on top of the shadows, before landing on one before the two shadows got up, walking towards the two males again, Junpei, remembering the Emperor's weakness to fire, turned to it.

Junpei: "I'll handle this one!"

... Yet the attacks were futile, not damaging the Emperor one bit as it brought its sword up, forcing him to use Hermes to block it with its metal wings.

Junpei: "But it worked a second ago!"

The Empress kicked Hermes away, letting the Emperor punch Junpei away, before the Empress used a strong wind attack, launching both him and Akihiko away towards Mitsuru and Yukari.

Yin: "Guys!-"

Fuuka: "Y-Yin-san!"

Fuuka held a finger to the doorway into Tartarus, Yin looked back to see the Jyamato Rider from a scene back, finally catched up to them.

Yin: "A Rider?!... Those vines, and that Buckle... It's a Jyamato!"

Just as it started descending the steps, the Empress turned to them and started approaching them as well, making him look at both sides, not being able to see a safe way for Fuuka and him to avoid them... But at that moment, a familiar bully started walking into Tartarus...

Fuuka: "Moriyama-san!"

Yin: "Why is she here?! Makoto was supposed to be watching over her!"

However, his attention was brought back to the Jyamato Rider, needing to quickly turning to block an overhead blow from it, clearly struggling to keep it at bay, but he managed to hear Natsuki calling out to Fuuka in an entranced voice, and the two giant Shadows turning their attention to her, and walking.

Fuuka: "N-No!"

He saw a glimpse of Fuuka rushing down the stairs, towards Natsuki.

Yin: "F-Fuuka! Don't do it! Please! Not when I can't protect you! I... I'm the only one that can do it... But this Jyamato is just not going to let me! Why... Why does this always happen?! Why can't I never protect her?!"

However, Fuuka showed her resolve by avoiding the shadows attacks, kneeling in front of Natsuki and holding her shoulders.

Fuuka: "Please run!"

Natsuki: "Fuu...ka...? I... I had to apologize to you!"

Fuuka: "E-Eh?!"

Natsuki (Crying): "I-I'm sorry... Fuuka... I'm sorry..."

Seeing her in this state, Fuuka simply smiled softly, letting Natsuki cry on her shoulder, as she heard the shadows closing in, she turned to them, her eyes full of determination as she pointed the Evoker at them.

Natsuki: "W-What are you doing? Let's run away!"

Akihiko: "No! That's not a weapon!"

Fuuka: "I know..."

And so, she pointed it to her forehead...

Yukari: "Don't! Run!"

Yin (Avoiding the Jyamato's attacks): "Fuuka!"

Fuuka: "... Persona"

The moment she pulled the trigger, a strong whirlwind erupted, making everyone, even the Jyamato Rider brace themselves, once it died down, it showed...

The Persona whitstood a strong wind attack from the Empress, unfortunately, it launched Natsuki back, Fuuka cried out to her, but the Emperor brought it's sword back, making her brace herself waiting for its strike, however...

Something, or rather someone, dashed towards her standing on top of her Persona and blocking the attack, she looked up to see...

Yin: "What she needs...!-"

[Moment's prior]

Yin needed to fight the Jyamato Rider as Fuuka ran towards Natsuki, his mind racing with thoughts about protecting her and how to do that... But the moment he saw her avoiding attacks, and even awakening to her own Persona, something clicked in his mind, kicking the Jyamato away.

Yin (Thinking): "... What am I doing? Fuuka... She doesn't need a knight in shining armor, she doesn't need someone that just stays around her, acting as if she was waiting to be saved at any given moment..."

The Boost Buckle on his hip started to heat up, its exhausts letting out a small burst of fire.

Yin: "No... What she needs..."

He quickly placed the Boost Buckle on the left of his Driver, and revved it up as if it was a bike's handle, before anyone could see, he was already on top of Fuuka's Persona, holding the Emperor's sword back from hitting it...

Yin: "What she needs... It's a friend! Someone that will stand beside her no matter what! And..."

Yin: "I'm going to be that someone!"

Fuuka: "Yin... san..."

Just at that moment, a bike was heard coming in from the entrance. It was Makoto, riding on top of an unfamiliar red bike...

Makoto: "Orpheus!"

He summoned Orpheus, which used its lyra to bash the Emperor off Yin, letting him jump off the Persona.

Yukari: "Why is he..."

Junpei (Smiling): "There you two go... Hogging all the glory!"

Makoto parked the bike next to Yin, motioning him to get on it as he got off it.

Makoto: "... It was parked in front of the dorm, it blinked its headlight like it wanted to come to you..."

Yin: "Is that so..."

He got on the bike, revving it up, in that moment, the two shadows slowly closed in on them again.

Yin: "... Think I can leave these off to you... Partner?~"

Makoto (Pointing his Evoker): "... Yes"

Yin smiled under his helmet, as he drove the bike, maneuvering around the shadows to ram into the approaching Jyamato Rider, sending it back as he got off from it, quickly starting a finisher by pulling on Ninja's handle and revving Boost up, the exhausts on his legs flaring up as he ran at the Jyamato and round-house kicked it, the impact alongside the flames of the exhausts making the Jyamato explode in a fiery explosion, the Driver and Buckle it had clanking to the ground... But the joy was short, as Yin looked back to see Makoto getting pushed back into Fuuka's Persona, not being able to deal with the shadows even with a new Persona.

Akihiko: "So we're no match for them...?"

Mitsuru (Struggling to get up): "Tahara! Get Yamagishi, Yuki and Moriyama out of here!"

Yin: "Eh..?"

Mitsuru: "If you stay, we'll all be killed! Save yourselves! Hurry!"

In that moment, Makoto summoned Orpheus to block the Emperor's sword, struggling with it, Yin quickly used his new speed to dash at them, kicking the Emperor off it, but not being able to damage it.

Akihiko: "What are you doing!? Go! Hurry!"

He summoned his Persona to distract the two shadows, Junpei quickly did the same with his, and then Yukari, all of them doing what they could to give them time... And each one going down as quickly as the last.

Mitsuru: "Go! Tahara! That's an order!"

The four were completely exhausted, struggling to get up as the two shadows closed in on them, Makoto looked at them with widened eyes, recalling the moments he had spent with them up until now, Yin noticed this, as well as him picking up his Evoker.

Yin: "... Sorry, but that's an order I'm simply not following..."

The moment Makoto started walking, Yin walked beside him, when he poised his Evoker to the side of his head, Yin prepared his Dueler to attack when he did so...

Yukari: "Why are you..."

Makoto: "... Orpheus!"

The summoned Persona bashed towards the Empress, but was simply forced away by the Emperor, pushing Makoto back and making Yin need to stop him from going too far, the latter then trying to rush at the shadows, weapons ready to attacks before an unbelievably strong wind attack was thrown at him by the Empress, forcing him and Makoto back and making Yin use the exhausts on his legs to help them against it, ending up in front of Fuuka and her Persona, once it was up, the two got up and walked back in front, standing in front of the two shadows as they prepared their attacks... But a strong lightning bolt hit the Emperor, making it stop, courtesy of Akihiko.

Akihiko: "A fight's not fun... If someone else is protecting you the whole time!"

Junpei: "I'm not gonna let these things... Take out any more of my friends!"

Hermes was summoned and quickly maneuvered around the Emperor, making it struggle against it... And at that moment, Fuuka saw something on it...

Fuuka: "I see it... Use fire! It'll work now! Hurry!"

Junpei: "Eh?... Hermes!"

The Persona quickly threw an Agi at the Emperor... And sure enough, it came down, its weakness struck...

Fuuka: "The enemies can alter what they're vulnerable to at will... But they can't become invulnerable, so a weakness always exists..."

Mitsuru: "I don't believe it... You can see that?!"

Fuuka: "Yes... Use wind!"

Yukari: "On it!"

Io used a wind attack on the Empress, prompting them to change their weaknesses again.

Junpei: "They're doing it again!"

Akihiko: "I've been waiting for this!"

Polydeuces quickly struck both with mazio, each time they changed, Fuuka would tell them what to use, eventually, the Empress was killed by Polydeuces piercing her with it's pole arm, only the Emperor remains, as it changes its affinity...

Fuuka: "Fire! And blunt attacks!"

Junpei summoned Hermes, throwing a burst of fire at the shadow, but it was too stubborn to die, walking towards Makoto and Yin.

Junpei: "It's on the ropes, end it you two!"

Yukari: "All yours!"

Mitsuru: "Yuki!"

Akihiko: "Get it, Yin!"

Makoto quickly summoned Orpheus, landing it on the shadow and making it create a burst of fire inside it, as it started burning away, Yin revved the Boost Buckle three times...

The Bike quickly drove itself towards Yin, making him jump and land on top of it, bringing him up and allowing him to stay afloat thanks to the exhausts working overtime to keep him there, and with a pull of the Ninja Buckle... He was off, launched with his leg kicked out in front of him, the last thing the shadow saw before its demise was...
