After the visit from the mysterious kid, Yin made the count and saw that this "test" the kid talked about was coming in 14 days, since the next full moon would land in May 9th, so he decided to use this time to get stronger in Tartarus and deepen his bonds with everyone in the team.

April 26 - 13 days remain

Yin can be seen in the used books store in the station strip mall, looking over some books to buy, seeing as the Tartarus explorations have given him a new way of income, he could still remember the moment he discovered that...

Yin (Flashback, looking at an opened chest): "HOLY CRAP THAT'S A THOUSAND YEN!"

Coming back to reality, he read the titles and synopsis of the bunch that interested him:

"Chance of a new life, A boy modified to be a war machine is suddenly transported to a new world, where he gets a chance to live as a normal person surrounded by new people... After he gets over the original reaction of them of hunting him down"

"Multiverse in Chaos, The most ambitious crossover of many IP's, where the protagonist is a stubborn but powerful bully, that's so petty he declared war against the Gods because he was told he couldn't"

"ZZZ: Wolf, Originally an internet fanfic of a crossover between a popular online game and Masku Rider, now made a physical series where the protagonist is hunted down by a powerful organization as he tries to protect the people of New Eridu from their attacks"

Yin: ".... Groan, they all sound good... I guess ZZZ sounds good enough, I'll get the rest another time"

April 30 - 10 days remain

In Tartarus, the team is stepping into the entrance before Yin notices Gitsu right outside the Velvet Room entrance beside Elizabeth, after quickly checking if everyone can see it and corroborating only he and Makoto can, he goes up to the masked man, talking in a whispering tone

Yin: "I didn't know you could get out of there..."

Gitsu: "Never had a reason to, until now that is"

Gitsu said as he pulled out something from his back...

Yin: "A new Buckle... (Taking it from his hands) You sure this one won't like... Bite my fingers when I try to use it? No... Proving myself business here?"

Gitsu: "Chuckle, No no... I assure you the Boost Buckle is the only one that does that, she's a bit... Picky, she was my personal creation after all"

Yin: "... Huh?"

Gitsu: "Now don't worry about it, that's a story for another time... You might want to go back to your comrades, they're starting to look at you like a madman"

Yin turned around as he said that, confirming that everyone except Makoto were giving him a concerned look.

Yin (Placing the Buckle on his belt): "... Aye..."

May 2 - 8 days remain

Yin was seen walking out of his classroom as the last bell of the day was heard, Fuuka was sick this day so he was planning on simply texting her to wish her a fast recovery, when he saw Yukari was coming out of her own classroom, thinking about it for a second (and needing to hype himself up for at least a minute), he quickly send his text to Fuuka and walked over to Yukari, startling her.

Yin: "Hey... Yukari-san"

Yukari: "H-Huh?"

Yin: "Just wondering if you wanted to go back to the dorm together, if you got time of course"

Yukari: "I mean... I guess I don't mind, but why are you asking me so suddenly?"

Yin: "Well... Shit, I can't tell her what Gitsu said of seeing them as family, she'll think I went crazy... I just thought... It was about time I started trying to become friends with you all, after all the best we get along here the best we fight together in the Dark Hour right?"

Yukari stayed silent for a second, apparently pondering what Yin was saying

Yukari: "... Alright, let's go then"

She gained a small smile on her face, which prompted Yin to do so as well, and so the two were on their way to the dorm, walking through the streets of the city, right now on a pretty empty one.

Yin: "So, how are things going in your class? Over with us It's the same old... Mr. Ekoda is as grumpy as always"

Yukari: "Oh come on, don't say that, Ms. Toriumi isn't any batter when it comes to lectures! But in here is the usual, Junpei dozes off in class and Makoto answers for him or gives Junpei the answers when they ask him"

Yin: "Huh, I wonder what it would be like to just sleep in class, my friend wouldn't let me for anything in the world Chuckle"

Yukari: "Friend? Who is it, maybe I know them"

Yin: "Ah, her name's Fuu-"

A sudden movement in an alley took his attention away from the conversation, and when he saw what was coming their way he quickly wrapped an arm around Yukari and pulled her away as a group of five Jyamatos stood in front of them.

[Pawn Jyamato]

Yukari: "What the!? What are these things doing outside of the Dark Hour!?"

Yin: "No idea... But we better take care of them before someone else finds them-"

The Jyamatos rushed at the two teens, prompting Yin to stand in front of Yukari as he started avoiding their hits and responding with his own, as he continued to fight them he started to notice how sluggish and unprepared they attacked, so losing the fear of them, Yukari and Yin started fighting back much more easily, with the un-transformed Rider ducking under a slow jab before breaking the arm of the Jyamato, and Yukari hitting one of them with her bag to distract them and give Yin a chance to use the wall to kick off it to kick it in the head, a cracking sound happening on the impact as the Jyamato fell to the ground, dissolving into vines that soon disappeared, this went on for a while until only one was left, Yukari kicking its legs off the ground and making it fall on it's back as Yin went to crack its neck, finishing it off and giving them a chance to breathe.

Yukari: "... Pant We really have to let Kirijo-senpai know about this..."

Yin: "Yeah, no kidding, even if these were weak it's gonna be a chaos if they become common knowledge-"

Yin was cut-off as a gurgling sound was heard behind him, looking back the two teens sawa new Jyamato, much more intimidating than the pawns...

[Bishop Jyamato]

This new Jyamato hit his two "hands" together in a form of intimidation, prompting the two youngs to get up and be alert, as Yin stared down at it, Yukari noticed a faint green glow from his bag, which had landed on the ground when he pulled her out of harm's way.

Yukari: "Tahara-san, your bag!"

The boy looked over to it, and once he saw the glow he went to see what was happening, pulling out his Driver and Ninja Buckle, once he picked these two items out, the glow disappeared.

Yin: "Wait... Maybe..."

He got up and faced the Jyamato as he put on his Driver, inserting the Buckle as well.

Yin: "Last time I tried to transform in my room, the Driver only played a sound, but maybe now, with this guy here... Henshin!"

He did his pose before pulling on the Buckle's handle, encasing him on the black undersuit helmet it provided him with.

Two ninja stars shot out of the driver before they clashed beside him, turning into the green armor which was put on him by a mechanical hand, finishing his transformation as the Ninja Dueler appeared on his hand.

Yin: "I see... You better get ready now!"

He separated his weapon, getting ready to sprint at the Jyamato.

Yin (Helmet's eyes glowing red): "Because my blade's gonna end this in a blink!"

With that, he rushed, lifting his right blade to attack it, but the moment it made contact the blade simply bounced off the Jyamato, making Yin look at it dumbfounded.

Yin: "Wha-!?"

After a mass of attempts of slashing and attacking it, the monster retaliated with a swing of its arm, knocking Yin back as it sprayed him with a red liquid, which shortly after exploded into a small explosion which sent him rolling to Yukari's feet, who had been just watching from the sidelines.

Yin (Getting up): "It's like... Its skin is tougher than the last Jyamatos, the Dueler's blades just don't make a dent on it!"

Just as he started thinking of a way of ending with the foe, he remembered something crucial, quickly rummaging through his bag on Yukari's hands he took out the new Buckle Gitsu had lend him, looking back at the Bishop, he pulled the out the Ninja Buckle, inserting the new one in, shortly after pressing the fist on its side, changing it...

💥Ready... Fight! *Roar!*💥

Yin: "If slashing attacks don't work..."

Yin: "Use blunt attacks!"

With the new form he acquired, Tycoon rushed at the Jyamato once more, reeling his fist back and throwing it at the Jyamato's face, a star forming from the impact of the punch, Tycoon didn't let the pace go down though, throwing punch after hook after uppercut, at one point the Jyamato tried to throw a punch itself, but the Rider weaved it, reeling his arm back as a clicking sound was heard, when he threw it, the strength of it was amplified by a star shooting out of his fist, almost like a bullet, as he threw combo after combo of these empowered punches, the monster tried to block with it's sprayer arms, but the decisive impact from the Rider's attack was too much for them to handle, undoing into a mass of vines, when the Jyamato saw this, it let out a startled gargle, before trying to run away into an alleyway.

Yin: "Oh no you won't!"

[Revolve on!]

The Rider turned his driver, swapping the armor to his legs. Once it was done, he pressed the Buckle's fist two times, starting the finisher and making a mass of lines of stars appear in front of the Jyamato, preventing it from advancing any further by throwing it back, almost like the ropes of a ring, the same stars appeared behind Yin, allowing him to grab on to them and start walking back, as if he was using a slingshot.

Yin: "I may not be Sanada-senpai, but this..."

Once it was enough for him he let go, getting thrown at the Jyamato while lifting his legs for a dropkick, the leg armor shining a vibrant yellow.

Yin:"It's KO!"

🐻Monster🐻... 💥Strike!💥

He extended his legs, impacting on the Jyamato with full force, the monster letting out a pained gargle before exploding into a burst of green flames, with Yin standing victorious in front of it... Yukari watches from a safe distance in awe, and an underlying sense of anger of needing to be protected... Once the Jyamato's remains disappeared Yin was forced out of his armor, staring at his Driver as he took it off.

Yin: "Huh... So it needs to be a Jyamato around for you to work..."

Realizing that he was with Yukari just some moments ago, he went to check on her.

Yin: "Yukari! A-Are you okay? You didn't get hit with anything did you?"

Yukari: "No, no... I'm okay, but we really should get to the dorm..."

Yin: "... Understood"

And so the two continued their way, a small time skip later and now the two are sitting in front of Mitsuru at the lounge's table, having explained to her what had transpired moments prior.

Mitsuru: "Those monsters appeared during the day and attacked both of you?... So these foes are not restricted to the Dark Hour it seems..."

Yin: "... I need to come up with something to tell them how they're called... Uhh, I think we should start calling them 'Jyamatos', they kinda look similar to the enemies of a... A game I play sometimes! Yeah, that..."

Mitsuru: "... Very well, if that's how we are calling them from now on that's fine by me, but going back to the topic at hand... From what you told me, these Jyamatos were completely focused on fighting Tahara, only attacking Yukari when she stepped in to help you... We can't know when they will attack or how many of them there are, so Tahara, I will have you hold on to your Driver at all times, no matter how you carry it, and I'll be telling Akihiko to update his training regime for you, we need you to be able to defend yourself in case this happens again, and we figure out what exactly are these new foes we have encountered"

Knowing better than to go against Mitsuru's words, Yin stayed quiet, even if he was screaming out of pain on the inside...

May 9 - Day of the full moon...

Remembering what was going to happen this day, Yin decided to head to the dorm directly after walking Fuuka home, lounging around waiting for the Dark Hour to come, just as the moment hit Mitsuru called the four explorers to the command room, informing them that she picked up a notoriously big reading on the train station of the city, now the four are at the location.

Junpei: "It's another big one like the one last month huh?"

Yukari (Looking up): "It's a full moon tonight huh? It sure looks creepy during the Dark Hour..."

As they were waiting for Mitsuru to arrive, Junpei was swinging his sword, Makoto was looking at the ground and Yin was putting on his driver, and soon enough the sound of a bike was heard rapidly approaching, stopping right in front of them as the red-haired girl took her helmet off, Junpei immediately going to crouch next to the machine to admire it.

Mitsuru: "Sorry I'm late, the shadow is located inside a train car outside the station"

Yukari: "Doesn't that mean we have to walk down the tracks? Isn't that dangerous...?"

Mitsuru: "Don't worry, machines stop working during the Dark Hour, that goes for trains as well"

Yin: "Huh? But this bike's working though?"

Mitsuru: "This is specially made... Yuki, I'm giving you field command for this mission"

Junpei: "Wha-!? Why him!? He's not exactly leader material!"

Yin (Thinking): "And you're supposed to be huh?"

Mitsuru (To Makoto): "... Can I count on you?"

Makoto: "... Understood"

Yukari: "I uhh... I'm looking forward to it, Yuki-kun"

Makoto: "... Understood"

After a small skip, the four teens are walking down the tracks towards a train, stopping once they were close to it.

Yukari: "That must be it..."

Mitsuru: "The enemy reading is definitely coming from inside that train"

And so they stepped into the train...

Yin: "Weird, the doors are open..."

Yukari: "It's definitely strange for all the doors to be open before it's reached the destination..."

Just as she finished her comment, the doors of all the train's wagons started closing on their own, startling them as Junpei went to try and get one open.

Junpei: "Dude seriously!? *Grunts of effort* It's no use, they just won't budge!"

Mitsuru: "What's the matter, what happened!?"

Yukari: "It looks like we're locked in!"

Mitsuru: "*Tcht!* ... Is it a trap from the shadow...?"

Suddenly, a flying crown shadow appeared in front of the team, making Junpei glare at it.

Junpei: "Speaking of the devil!"

Just then Yukari noticed something behind them, looking back to see the same type of shadow floating there.

Yukari: "There's another!"

Junpei: "Bastard, you aren't getting away!"

Yukari: "Hey wait! Don't run off by yourself!"

Junpei: "Huh!? I can handle this thing by myself just fine!"

And so he ran off, chasing the shadow down the corridor of the train.

Yukari: "Damn it... Yuki, Tahara! We have to go after him!"

Makoto: "... But he said-"

Yukari: "He's our teammate!"

Just then, more shadows closed in on them, prompting Yin to pull out his Ninja Buckle.

Yin: "It doesn't matter if Junpei says that
