Kazuichi Souda really tries to avoid Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

He believed the blonde was a petty rich boy

Even if they never really interacted with each other, they never attempted to.

Souda was someone that was friends with everyone. He tried to get along with everyone and be as friendly as possible. He had a bright personality that went along with his bright style.

Kuzuryu was the complete opposite

He is more of a loner. The person he hangs around with the most is Peko Pekoyama. He only talks to others when needed. I guess you can say Kuzuryu had serious trust issues.

But, their personalities weren't the only thing different from each other.

Their grades were

Souda was a pretty average student at most classes. His favorite was algebra II and he always had an A in that class. But chemistry was another story. He never got above a D in that class. This made him fall behind on certain assignments.

All while Kuzuryu was a straight A student

Maybe it was because he never distracted himself. Or maybe it was the fact that no one ever bothered to acknowledge the blonde. He was fine with this though.

But back to Souda

With him being so terrible at chemistry,

He wasn't 100% surprised when Ms. Yumizome asked his to talk after class.

"Look at your recent test scores Souda, you barely passed one from last week!"

"Hey, I still passed! That's better though, right?"

She placed her grade book back down on her desk and rested her head on her palm. "Souda, I'm signing you up for tutoring and your going. I think that with a little help, you can start making more acceptable grades." The pinkette frowned. "That's gonna take away my plans for the weekend! Can you think of another solution?"

"This will be better for you, I'm sure of it! And don't be like that, you should feel bad for the person that has to stay with you for the weekend..."

"That's...not nice..."

"Have a nice day Souda. Tutoring starts at 10 am here on Saturday!"

He waved at his teacher and left the classroom. All that came to his mind was Saturday. Who could be his tutor? Hopefully it was someone he knew well. He would be so happy if he was that lucky.

Unfortunately, Souda wasn't that lucky

It was now Saturday

And there were a lot more students going to the school than he expected

Currently he was walking with one of his close friends, Akane Owari

"So soda can, you know who your tutor is?" She asked as she took a bite out of a donut. "Nope, Yumizome never told me..." she looked at me and said "Well I heard that your precious Sonia was gonna be a tutor for someone. It may be you, or Komaeda...he's failing world history..."

Having Sonia as his tutor would be a blessing and a nightmare

Mostly because she was dating Gundham Tanaka

"Come on, you have to go to the office to see which classroom your in!"

Both students ran inside and went their separate ways. Owari went to her room with her tutor, Nekomaru Nidai. And he went to the office. After giving the vice principal his name and his failing subject, he was given a room number.

Room N037

All he could think about who his tutor could be. It could be anyone really. Even someone that's not in his class. With that he reached the door and opened it. There was a male with shaved blonde hair sitting in one of the chairs with his back against the door. They seemed to be on their phone.

"Hello..."

The blonde turned around and his greenish golden eyes met pink ones.

Souda was shocked

A person that he didn't try to talk to. Someone that didn't care to make friends. Someone that he thought was selfish. Someone that he didn't even give a chance to start liking.

Was his tutor

"Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to sit down?"

He noticed that he has been standing there for a while. He walked over and took a seat beside him. Souda would have to put his accusations without proof to the side for now. "If you don't have your books and notes, I brought mine with me so we can go over this..." the blonde said.

His voice was calm, almost like he had no care in the world. He didn't even look at Souda again during the whole session. He seemed to just stick with the tutor session.

Souda was pissed over that

No side conversation. No trying to get to know one another. Actually, Souda didn't even know if the boy knew his name. It was all about the session. And during that he barely talked.

He wasn't excited to come here every Saturday

...

Just as Souda thought

Kuzuryu didn't try to get along with him

All he did was what they were there to do. Souda understood that they weren't there to build conversation, but it wouldn't hurt to have a small one after each session.

"I believe we're done for the day. See you next week..."

Kuzuryu got up to leave when Souda pushed him back in the chair. The blonde looked at him confused and He started talking. "Why do you always keep to yourself? Ya know that only makes people dislike you..." Souda realized how offensive after he said it, but didn't really care.

"Because I don't like talking to people without necessary, I'm leaving now."

And just like last time, when the blonde got up he pushed him back into the seat. Now Kuzuryu looked frustrated.

"What the hell is your problem dumbass?"

"This makes you seem like you always had a stick up your ass."

"Okay cool, can I leave now?"

Souda thought for a minute. What exactly can he do to get to know him? His head shot up and he said "Not until we get to know eachother. And we are gonna do this after every session so you can loosen up a bit."

"Y-you can't force me to be in here! Who the hell do you think you are?"

He did see himself of being quite demanding, but he wasn't wrong. It wouldn't hurt to try to get along with one another. "There's no reason not to..." Souda said, trying to reason with the smaller boy. Kuzuryu leaned back into his chair. "This is bullshit..." the blonde muttered aloud.

Although being mad for the first few minutes, both males started to talk to eachother. Well, mostly Souda talking and Kuzuryu listening.

After they finished they both walked out of the building and for the first time ever

Souda saw Kuzuryu smile

And that's how it started
