CHAPTER SEVENTEEN:

OUR 'DATE' PT. 2

[ Y/n ]'s POV:

Finn parked his car and got out, I paused for a second then I kinda forgot where I was. Finn opened my door and tapped me on my shoulder. "Huh-?" "Where here [ Y/m ]..." Finn mumbled, I nodded and got out, he closed my door. 

We were at Lincoln Mall, I scrunched my eye brows. "Why are we here?" I asked. "Memory lane." Finn explained. I nodded and Finn grabbed my hand as we made our way to a shop. We walked in and I was hit with the scent of ice cream.

"Let me guess you want Cookies and Cream?" He asked. I chuckled and nodded. "How did you-" "Your still the same old [ Y/n ]." Finn blushed. I shrugged, "No I'm not. I'm different, kinda.." I mumbled. "Yeah, 'Kinda'.." Finn blushed. I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." I smirked, Finn walked up and ordered our ice creams. "Wait- [ Y/n ] and Finn? I haven't seen you two in forever." The man spoke. "Wait, Joe?! Joe Keery?!" Finn yelled. "Yes! Its me!" Joe smiled. Finn shook his hand. "Joey Boy?" I questioned, he nodded. 

Joe paused for a second. "WAIT ARE YOU TWO FINALLY DATING?! HAS MY SHIP SAILED-" "NO! Joe we are not dating!" Finn rolled his eyes. Joe frowned. "Awh, well what do you two want?" He asked. "Two Cookies and Cream." Finn explained, Joe nodded and went into the back. 

Finn grabbed my hand and we walked over to booth and sat down.  "So, now would you consider me your friend?" Finn asked, I shrugged. "Nope.." I mumbled, Finn chuckled. "Oh come on Danny, I brought you all this way-" "Shut up Sam." I blushed.

Finn laughed, "Come on, Friends?" He asked, I shrugged. Finn pouted and grabbed my hands. "Pleaseeeeeeee..." He begged, I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Maybe.." I mumbled, he smirked then let out a slight chuckle as he brushed a part of my hair behind my ear. He grinned lightly and my heart started beating slightly.

A warm feeling appeared in my stomach almost like a butterfly fluttering in my stomach. I blushed uncontrollably as he began to giggle.

"What's so funny!" I rolled my eyes. He laughed, "You look like a bruised tomato-" "- Oh shush! Frog face." I hissed. He smiled and we locked eyes.

"[ Y/N ] FINN YOUR ICE CREAM IS READY!" Joe shouted, we ran up and grabbed them. Finn pulled out his wallet but I was quick to stop him.

"I-I got it." I smiled, he scrunched his eye brow. "No [ Y/n ] you dont have to-" "-But it want to-" "-[ Y/n ] no." Finn rolled his eyes.

"I got it-" "-No I got it-" "Okay, shut up children. It on the house. Just stop arguing its giving me a head ache." Joe spat as he shooed us away.

We smiled to ourselves. "Whatever that's Joe. Peace." Finn smirked. "Thanks Joey." I smiled. He nodded and we walked back to the car. We got in and began eating our ice cream.

Finn grabbed his keys and started up his car as Icontinued to eat my ice cream. "So where we off to now?" I asked. "Last stop of the night..." Finn started backing out of the parking stall.

I nodded and continued eating, about half way there we continued to talk and eat our ice cream. Once we finished our ice cream we threw the trash into a random bag, yeah Finns car was kinda messy not gonna lie.

Along the way we shared laughs and deep thoughts to one another. It was like old times but it just felt better, I mean I haven't talked to Finn since Wyatt and Him stopped being friends.

Somehow, someway this day made us closer, well. Not that close but kinda close. Anyways, once Finn parked the car I couldn't really remember where we were at. It was dark outside so I didnt really wanna go outside.

He parked the car in the middle of nowhere and got out of his car. He looked at me, "Aren't you coming?" He asked, I shrugged. "It's late and I'm kinda scared..." I mentioned. He chuckled to himself,

"Fine, but if something bad happens dont come running to me." Finn grinned as he glared at me evilly. I rolled my eyes, he closed the door and began walking. I was left alone in the car.

I sighed to myself, it has been about 5 minutes since Finn left and I was getting really scared. I got out of the car and ran as fast as I could to Finn. He looked at me with a look of laughter written across his face.

I playfully wacked him. "DON'T EVER LEAVE ME OUT THERE AGAIN!" I shouted. He rolled his eyes and scoffed. "Oh come on nothing bad happens here." He explained, I looked out, "Where are we?" I asked.

"A Quarry. You dont remember this place?" Finn looked at me confusedly. I looked down and noticed how the waves crashed against the rocks ever so slightly. Then I remembered this place.

This was the last place Finn took me, before him and Wyatt got into a fight. I sat down on the edge and just took in everything. How beautifully the ripples in the water reflected the moon. This place was beautiful.

I smiled to myself admiring the beauty and regaining all those memories from that day. "I remember this place."This was the place you took me, before you and Wyatt stopped being friends." I frowned.

Finn's POV;

As she finished that sentence, I could feel myself tearing up just remembering what happened on that day. I blanked out for a moment and had a flashback..

FLASHBACK:

It was a few weeks before [ Y/n ]'s 15th birthday and I wanted to do something special for her. I ended up begging my mom to bring us to the near by Quarry.

She ended up taking us, [ Y/n ] and I ended up staying there for a while. Anyways, it was late and [ Y/n ] and I were chilling by the rocks just splashing eachother with water and having an overall good time.

Soon after we dried off and sat down somewhere. I sighed heavily and [ Y/n ] noticed. "What's wrong?" She asked, "Nothing.." I muffled. She held my hand, "Finn, I' m your best friend please tell what's wrong.." She frowned.

"[ Y/n ] promise me, no matter what happens we will always be friends. No Matter what-" "-Finn we will always be friends no matter what." She reassured me. I smiled to myself and gave her a tight hug.

"I love you [ N/n ].." I smiled. "I love you too Bubba.." She giggled. "Friends forever." She pulled away. "Friends forever." I nodded.

END OF FLASHBACK:

"EARTH TO FINN HELLO?!" [ Y/n ] shouted, I snapped out of it and slowly sat down next to [ Y/n ]

'Dear god please help me.'

And scene.

Okay so I lowkey ship them so hard and you cannot stop me. I love them so much, and we actually need a good finn chapter where hes not a douche so yeah. Oh and btw CONGRAT FINNIE ON GRADUATING ILY SO MUCH AND IM SO PROUD OF YOU BUT LIKE ISJWIWBWJQHQHQGQH WHO ELSE STARTED CRYING WHEN YOU SAW FINN IN HIS CAP AND GOWN. JUST ME? ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT.
