CHAPTER FIVE:

WHATEVER

[ Y/n ]'s POV:

The day ended and I remembered that I had to do that stupid Math project with Finn. I was walking to the school parking lot, then Finn approached me. He walked closer and closer to me eventually my back hit against a wall of the main office. He put his arm next to my head giving him balance, he leaned in and smirked at me. "So, you wanna work on this project?" He smirked evilly. I rolled my eyes and didn't respond.

He scoffed and rolled his eyes. "I'll take that as a no, I'm guessing you wanna fail this class?" He asked, my eyes widened. "Wait WHAT?!" I questioned, he smirked at me. "This project is work most of our grade." He chuckled, I rolled my eyes. I really can't afford an F right now. I scoffed, "Fine, I'll work on this stupid project-" "Great, my house or your's?" He muffled irritatedly. 

I rolled my eyes. "Mine, Wyatt won't care as long as he knows that we're doing this for a project.." I paused. Finn scrunched his eyebrows. "I hope.." I continued. I walked off but Finn stopped me. He grabbed my hand and held it for a bit. I pulled it away and blushed a little bit. "Sorry- I didn't mean to-" "Its fine.." I mumbled. He nodded, "Do you want me to give you a ride?" He asked.

I raised an eyebrow and gave him a perplexed look. "If you want to-" "Sure.." I mumbled. He nodded, "Follow me." Finn chuckled. We walked over to his car and we got in. Then he started to drive to my house, along the way I just looked out my window avoiding eye contact. It was the most awkwardest 10 minutes of my life. Once we approached my house I noticed that Wyatt was home earlier than usual. "He's home earlier than usual.." I whispered to myself.

"Huh?-" "Nothing, I'm gonna go talk to Wyatt. You can go park over there.." I pointed along the pavement. He nodded, I got out grabbed my bag and walked inside of the house. I opened the door to see Jaeden and Wyatt. "[ Y/n ]!" Jaeden smiled, "Jae, what are you doing here?" I asked, "And why are you home so early?" I asked, "Well I skipped 9th Period.." Wyatt chuckled, I nodded. 

"And I came to just say hi." Jaeden smirked, "Well, Wyatt. Is it okay if I bring someone over to work on a project?" I asked. "Yeah its fine, who do you have to work on the project with?" Wyatt asked, "Well, uhm...Finn..." I mumbled, Wyatt's eyes widened. "HAH! It sounded like you said Finn.." Jaeden laughed, I nodded. Then his eyes widened as well. "NO!" Wyatt shouted, "PLEASE WYATT! ITS EITHER THIS OR I GET AN F FOR THIS CLASS!" I screamed.

Wyatt shook his head. "Please! I can't afford an F! You know that!" I shouted, he scoffed and rolled his eyes. "No [ Y/n ]!" Wyatt yelled. "Why would you want to do this anyway, especially with him-" "Because its worth half of my Math grade! Besides I'm so close to an A in that class please!" I shouted, Wyatt paused for a split second. He never heard me beg for something in a while. 

"Fine, is it the last A you have to earn before the quarter ends?" Wyatt asked, I nodded. "Fine, but I better see your name on the principal's list.." Wyatt smirked, I hugged him tightly. "THANK YOU!" I shouted, "Yeah, yeah.." Wyatt smiled. Then Finn knocked on the front door, "That's him." I mumbled. I ran to the door and opened it. "Is the demon gone yet?" Finn asked, "Stop, I just convinced him not to kill you.." I smirked, Finn laughed and stepped inside. Wyatt looked at us and gave Finn a death glare.

We were just about to walk upstairs until Wyatt stopped us. "Hold on, both of you come here." Wyatt shouted, Finn scrunched his eyebrows and we walked back. "Here are some rules for both of you, especially for you." Wyatt glared at Finn, Finn smirked and nodded. "No flirting with my sister! Don't touch her! And Don't do anything to make her mad-" "And if I break the rules?" Finn smirked, 

"Then you answer to Jaeden and I." Wyatt rolled his eyes. "Ight.." Finn chuckled, "Something funny Wolfhard-" "I wouldn't be talking if I were you Martell.." Finn spat. I grabbed Finn and walked upstairs. "YALL NEED TO SORT OUT YOUR PROBLEMS! GODDAMN!" I shouted.

~ 30 MINUTES INTO WORKING ON THE PROJECT ~

"FINN! JUST PLEASE DO THE WORK!" I shouted, he shrugged, "Nah I don't feel like it.." Finn mumbled. He peeked out of my bedroom window and saw a raccoon in our trash can. "A FUCKING RACCOON IS IN YOUR TRASHCAN-" "That's Charlie our raccoon, idiot.." I hissed. He chuckled and rolled his eyes.

I grabbed my Math textbook and tried to solve our 2nd to last equation. "This makes no fucking sense!" I shouted, I fell back onto my bed and stared at my sealing. Finn grabbed the paper out of my hands. "What are you doing-" "Shh!" He hissed, I closed my mouth as he examined the problem. "This isn't even that hard, just multiply 3 by the square root of 5 then multiply by pi." Finn explained.

My eyes widened. "Wait- How did you know that?!" I questioned, "I'm not as dumb as you think I am.." Finn smirked, he explained the problem further and all through out he was explaining it I noticed his features. The way his soft freckles hit the sunlight, how his beautiful brownie eyes sparkled like the stars. He looked amazing, and he didn't put much effort into it.

"[ Y/n ]? [ Y/n ]?" He waved his hand over my face causing me to snap out of daydreaming. "What!?" I shouted, "Checking me out?" He smirked. "Pfft, you wish idiot." I punched his arm. "Ow! You don't have to lie I know you were-" "Nope, I was day dreaming about me finishing this stupid project." I mumbled.

"Then what, making out with me?" He laughed, "I mean if you wanna." I Jokingly laughed, "Wait- Really?-" "No! I was just joking!" I laughed, "Joking my ass." Finn laughed, I laughed with him. 

~ 10 MINUTES LATER ~

"Ugh. Finally we are done this part." I hissed, "Wow, that wasn't even that fucking hard-" "Shut up I did most of the work." I spat. "Yeah but I needed to check your work.." He smiled at me. He sat next to me on my bed and looked at the paper. "Now what?" He asked, "Now we do step two." I chuckled. "But first I need a break." I mumbled, I got up and texted Nia and Bri.

Nia and Bri pulled up into my drive way and bolted out of the car. I need a break from Finn and his idiotic tendencies. Finn looked out the window and saw them. "What are they doing here-" "Don't ask questions I've heard enought already raccoon boy.." I laughed. Nia and Bri barged into my room without a warning. "WE BROUGHT BIRTH CONTROL HERE [ Y/N ]-" "WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING GODDAMN!" I shouted. "Ohhh okay good because me and Nia where about to beat his ass.." Bri laughed

"WHATEVER.."
