(One-sided ShellVision while Tisha knows)

Shelly sat in her room cleaning fossils with Tisha as usual. Now, you might think cleaning fossils is boring but not for these two! Cleaning fossils must be a side hobby for them by now.

"Are you still talking to Vee?"

Tisha put her tools down and leaned her head into one of her hands (doesn't matter which).

"Uh...yeah. I am! I'm not sure she's paying attention...but that's okay! I'll just keep trying!"

Shelly smiled at Tisha who just sighed. If only she could see that there was someone right there with her that genuinely cared for her. Tisha shook her head. No, no. Shelly would never. Just stay as friends. Just. Friends. Friends? Uh what was that? Yeah. Friends. Tisha's thoughts seemed to spiral as her eyes gave away her feelings. The fossil was wayyy cleaner than before. Way quicker too.

Genuinely concerned, Shelly came around the table and taped Tisha's shoulder.

"Um..."

She started but Tisha held up her hand and took a deep breath.

"No, no. I'm fine."

She reassured the worried Shelly whilst waving her hand in a dismissive motion.

[Timeskip to Elevator...]

Seeing Vee looking bored (she always does, Shelly...), Shelly decided to ask.

"Want to hear some dinosaur facts?"

Vee rolled her eyes. Shelly's done this way too often.

"I know them all."

Shelly, though knowing the answer, still tried.

"What... ?"

"They're programmed in already Shelly, I know them all."

"Ah... right, silly me!"

Feeling a bit more down than before, Shelly decided not the bother her anymore. She shouldn't have tried that. Tisha looked on at the two with half-lidded eyes, rolling her eyes in response to each of Vee's sentences. Vee didn't deserve someone like Shelly.

All she wished was that Shelly would see that she cared about her more than Vee did. That was all she wished. Nothing more, nothing less.
