Where am I? What's this place? And why am I chained? Was I asleep? Legosi began to panic when saw a big panda suddenly in front of his face. He walked towards him but the wolf got scared and crawled back.

"Jeez, you're finally awake!" the panda said. He measured his pulse and found that the wolf was surprisingly calm "I'm going to take your muzzle off now, just don't scream!" he knelt beside him and released him from the muzzle.

"I didn't do anything! What's this place?! Why-" Legosi started shouting but was quickly interrupted by the panda's fist that hit him in the face.

"I told you not to scream, idiot! You're in my clinic where people like you are treated!" he answered very irritably and then sat down on a chair near a camera.

"Wait... Why like me?" the wolf asked in surprise.

"Because in order to hang out in the back-alley market you must have some reason... Now I'm going to ask you some questions so answer honestly!"

"..."

"First, what's your name?"

"L-Legosi..." there was a shot from the camera.

"When was the last time you ate a herbivore?"

"I never did!" Another shot from the camera.

"Aha... So you tried and then stopped yourself at the last second?!" Legosi looked down at the ground guiltily.

"He... he knows... I bit him..."

"Huh?! And he isn't mad at you!?" the panda asked surprised.

"No... he believed in me... all the time. He didn't even try to run away, he just believed in me." Legosi looked very sad. He didn't want to remember the moment he lost control and almost devoured you.

"And what is the name of this bo-" their interrogation was interrupted by you, who entered the room like a thunder.

"Y/N!" Legosi shouted your name happily.

"THANKS GOD YOU ARE OKAY!" you said while panting.

"Y/N, what are you doing here!?" the panda asked you.

"Wait... You know each other!?" the wolf was very confused. You only laughed after that statement.

"Yes, of course... He's my father. I mean the person who adopted me..." Legosi just stared.

"W-w-w-WHAT!?!?!?"

"Yeah, hehe... Sorry for not telling you." you scratched nervously behind the neck.

"Yes, yes, anyway, I get it that you are friends, but this wolf attacked someone and I also found him fainted on the back-alley, so please don't interfere with my work for a while..." the panda said getting up from his seat. "I want you to tell me who was the one who you attacked. What kind of species was he?"

Oh shit... If Gouhin finds out that I'm this someone, I don't know how he's going to get rid of this situation... Please, wolfie, don't say anything... Lie and you're done... drops of sweat appeared on your forehead.

"The one who I bit was... your son... I'm so sorry sir..." Legosi really felt guilty deep inside.

...Why the hell I love this stupid, honest wolf...

"Hahahaha... What?!" the panda grabbed him by the throat and began to choke him.

"DAD, NO, STOP!" you started shouting and intervened before Gouhin would kill Legosi.

"What the hell are you doing?! Don't stop me! This piece of shit tried to kill you and you're telling me to stop!? Show me the bite mark!" you slowly pulled your shirt and the mark that Legosi left you showed up. "That's so deep! You fucking kille-" the panda got interrupted from you.

"No! He isn't like that! I'm trusting him and I know he'd never kill anyone!"

"Why are you so sure?"

"I just have that feeling..."

"Well, then prove it! If you can prove to me that he really won't hurt anyone, I'm inclined to believe you!" the panda folded his arms. You went near Legosi and released him from the chains. He looked too scared.

"Everything will be fine, believe me!" you smiled warmly at him. You went near one of the shelves and took the sharpest knife.

"Y/N, what the hell you're-" before Gouhin finishes himself, you cut your hand deep. A large amount of blood began to flow from the cut site. Legosi stared in shock. You went to him and started stroking his head with one hand, while the cut one was in front of his face, driving him crazy.

"Y-Y/N... Please, stop... I can't control myself..."

"It's all right Lego... I believe in you!" you smiled at him to calm him down but in the wolf's head it was all a mess.

No, no, no... that's not real... His blood was very tasty I have to try it again... NO... I can't do this to him again... I don't want him to suffer!

Gouhin was just watching what was happening. He couldn't believe you had faith in a wolf who had a hard time controlling himself. Suddenly Legosi grabbed your hand and pulled you closer to him. He bared his fangs but you were still very calm.

"Come on Legosi, I know you can fight against your instincts... "

"Y/N... Please... I'm gonna eat your arm!" tears began to fall from his eyes.

"I know you won't. You can't even kill a fly." you laughed and then hugged him tightly with your free hand. "You're very special to me Legosi... You're my only best friend after all!"

As soon as he heard these words, the wolf forgot absolutely everything... He forgot about the blood... he forgot about his instincts... It was only you in his head. He let go of your bloodied hand and hugged you crying. Gouhin, on the other hand, was in shock. He didn't understand how a wolf would ignore his instincts for someone... and that someone especially would be you.

"All right, you two! I get it that your friend isn't going to attack anyone, so don't worry anymore. Y/N we have to bandage your hand! It's bleeding so bad, yo!"

You and Legosi broke from the embrace and Gouhin invited you to sit in the living room. (I'm sorry, I don't know the name of this room where Legosi and Gouhin were in the anime so I'll call it like that :D)

"So how do you two know each other?" The panda asked as he was bandaging your hand.

"We're in the same school and class"

"And room!" the wolf added.

You didn't have to say that...

"Aha... Come on, sit down for a cup of tea" Gouhin was ready with your bandaging and went to make some tea.

"You know, maybe you won't like the tea very much..." you whispered in the wolf's ear.

"Why?" he whispered back.

"Well... it's bamboo tea and I don't know if you'll like it. Wait a minute... What's that spot on your eye?" you get closer to Legosi's face to see better.

"Y-Y/N... What are you doing?..." the wolf's face blushed.

"Kidos, the tea is rea-" Gouhin paused after seeing the picture in front of him. "Are you lovers or something?"

"N-no, of course not! I'm just looking at how WELL you hit him, that you even bruised his eye!" you said, pulling away from the wolf's face.

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that! Anyways, I'm Gouhin." the panda apologized, handing the cup of tea to Legosi. "Try it!" the wolf sipped some tea and grimaced in disgust.

"I told you you wouldn't like it!" you replied, taking out a pack of cigarettes, then lighting one. Smoke came out of your mouth and Gouhin just laughed.

"So you still keep this pack?" the panda asked, lighting one of his cigarettes.

"Of course! I don't smoke that much, but every time I see a cigarette I think of you, dad!" he smiled warmly at you. Legosi just stared. He didn't think you're smoking but in his eyes, that was making you sexier in some way.

"Kids, I know this isn't the time for that, but can you help me with something?" Gouhin asked, getting up from his seat.

"Of course!" Legosi shot without thinking because he was staring... at you.

"Your friend is very devoted, isn't he?" Gouhin laughed and looked at you.

"Yes... That's how it is. Always so good and kind to everyone" the wolf blushed even more from this comment.

"Okay, let's get to the real part." the panda pulled out a picture of an alligator and tossed it on the table in front of you. "This one is our target. He has often been seen on the market. I've been trying to catch him for two days now, but he's still slipping away. I want you to help me catch him!"

You and Legosi looked at each other and... "Of course we'll help!" ...you said in one voice.

"It'll be like the old times, right dad?" Gouhin only laughed.

"Yeah, like the old times!"

I can finally show Legosi my "assassin mode". Will it look attractive to him? You thought while the wolf was on the exact opposite idea

I won't allow Y/N to be loaded with that... So much blood flowed from him and now this... No, no, no, that can't happen! I'll fight this alligator if it has to!

You waited on the roof of a two-storey building in a hidden street for your target to appear.

"So, because I know what Y/N's fighting skills are, I wouldn't want him to fight the alligator, but most importantly he's wounded... Legosi, you'll take this task!" the panda said looking at the wolf.

At least I'm sure Y/N won't get hurt anymore!

"Eh?! I wanted to help too-"

"Shh! I think he showed up!" Gouhin made you a sign to be quite. "That's he! He's coming! And he is carrying something... Maybe again food from the market..."

Well, at least I'll see Legosi fighting. That's enough for me.

"Kid, I think it's time to show him who's the boss!" the panda said, pushing the wolf of the building. He fell and made a loud sound.

"Ahh, that hurts!" Legosi rose from the ground. As soon as he saw the alligator up close, the wolf wondered how he would have to fight such a large, muscular animal. He could fight, but the thing in front of him was 3 times bigger and that much stronger.

"Who are you?! What do you want from me?! You want my food?!" the alligator began to approach Legosi with heavy footsteps.

"N-no, I don't want your food! You know that the thing you're doing isn't good, right?" The wolf was trying to ease the situation, but the reptile was too angry.

"Don't bother me with this nonsense! I know you want to take my food!" he began attacking Legosi, trying to bite him. The wolf avoided him but in the end, he tried to hit him... Big mistake... The alligator's skin was too impenetrable, so he didn't feel anything. He grabbed Legosi's hand and squeezed it tightly. "I'm going to kill you now because you're trying to eat my food!"

But before he could reach the wolf with his teeth, he sensed something coming toward him. It was a knife. It cut him slightly on the cheek and slammed into the pipe near him. "Hey you, the big one! Why don't you play with me too?" you moved closer to the two of them.

"Y/N... What are you doing? Get away! You can't beat him! And... you are wounded!" the wolf started shouting at you.

"Oh, so you're friends. Very interesting." he released Legosi's hand and pushed him aside. "What kind of species are you?"

"Oh, are you already interested in me? Do you want to taste me too?" you began to tease the reptile.

"Big words for a weak idiot like you!"

"Try me and we'll see how weak I am!"

Y/N, what are you doing... He's too strong for you... Where is Gouhin-san to help us now!?

"Lego!" he turned his attention to you. "Just watch how a "professionalist" make it!"

The alligator ran towards you but you just stood there. Suddenly, when he was too close to you, you went under him and jumped on his back. You quickly knocked him to the ground and rested  another knife on his carotid.

"Move and I'll kill you right here!" Legosi was puzzled. He stood with his mouth open. He just couldn't believe his eyes.

"Oh, well-done Y/N! A new record! It took you 53 seconds!" Gouhin appeared from behind the building, smoking a cigarette.

"Yey!" you laughed and then looked at the confused wolf. "Lego, you forget how to talk?"

"N-no... It's just that he's so big and you, you're that small and I couldn't even touch him and you just... I'm very confused..." you laughed harder. "I just trained a lot... That's all!"

"Who the fuck are you?!" the reptile shouted.

"Let's just say we're the assassins of this market!" you replied with a wide smile.

Gouhin tied the alligator, and the three of you took him to the panda's clinic.

"Thank you so much for the help kids! I wouldn't have made it without you!"

"It's all right, dad. I'm glad we've seen each other again for a long time."

"Me too! Oh and Y/N! Here, take it!" he handed you a pack of cigarettes. "Remember me more often and don't overdo it with them!"

"Of course!" you both laughed.

"Y/N, can you leave me and Legosi alone for a bit. I want to talk with him for something!"

"Okay, but please... don't hit him this time..." you replied and left the room.

"Well, we're alone now... Legosi, do you like my son?" the wolf blushed a lot after this question, but still decided to tell the truth.

"I don't know what this is due to, but every time I'm close to Y/N, I feel my heart warmer and beat faster, and when I'm even closer I feel like it's going to explode..." Gouhin just nodded.

"I see!" he grabbed his shirt. "If you try to hurt Y/N one more time, I'll kill you!"

"I promise I will never hurt your son again..."

"Now you're free to go." the panda said, releasing the wolf. But before he left the room, Gouhin shouted... "I think he feels the same!" then Legosi turned and smiled broadly.

"Thank you Gouhin-san!"

"I say 'I mean' not 'I'm sure'... there's a difference... and please take care of him!"

"Of course I will! Thank you once again Gouhin-san! Goodbye!"

"Bye!"

The wolf came out of the clinic and found you lighting a cigarette outside.

"Are you starting them from now?"

"Please, just one!" he just nodded and you lit your cigarette.

No one spoke on the way. Only the noise of the city and the insects could be heard. Suddenly, Legosi decided to break the silence.

"Y/N..."

"Yeah, what's wrong Lego?"

"I was just thinking how from cutie you go to hottie for seconds." you blushed.

"It's embarrassing to be heard of your mouth, you know?" you tried to cover your red face but Legosi already saw it.

"I think so..."

Finally, you reached the station where Aoba was waiting for you.

"Y/N, Legosi, where you were?!" he ran towards you two. "I'm sorry for what happened earlier that night... I couldn't do it... I wasn't able to taste the finger of this man... It's true that I said that we'll be used to have things from this market when we grow up... but... I couldn't imagine me having stuff like this!" you patted his shoulder.

"I'm glad that you're not that stupid like the other two idiots!" you smiled brightly and the eagle blushed a little.

"T-thanks... I guess..."

"Anyway guys, let's go home" you said and the three of you went to the other to wait for the train to come.
