Chapter Thirteen

❝What can I say? I'm dramatic.❞

YOUR CLONE HAD began fighting Wukong with all its might, trying to hold him back as long as possible until Mk gets the staff. The battle between the two was moving so fast for anyone to see it.

Monkey King shot laser beams from his eyes to your clone. It quickly shifted into a mass of shadows to avoid the beams. The clone kept moving quickly around Wukong, not giving him a chance to land one hit. Before Monkey King could react, the mass of shadows went straight to his chest, seeping into his body. The monkey froze in place, feeling something strange happening to his body.

Wukong, you better snap out of this!

Meanwhile, Lady Bone was smirking down at Mk, feeling satisfied with his helplessness. The young teen saw the fight between your clone before quickly rushing to get the staff, but Lady Bone Demon stopped him, "No matter what you do, you cannot change the path of destiny." She calmly stated, grinning evilly at Mk.

Mk clenched his fists tightly, "I don't know if all this happened because it was destined to. But I have to believe that I found the staff so I could use it for good: To help people. So that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm going to take my staff and protect! This! World!" The boy's speech was motivating, but when he went to grab the staff, he just couldn't, "Come on!" He exclaimed, not giving up on taking his staff. Lady Bone sighed deeply, "Oh, sweet child. Can't you see? Sun Wukong couldn't best me. What can you hope to accomplish when he has failed? Even Y/N couldn't stand a chance against me and just bent to my will. Cast aside your stubbornness and face your demise with honor." As she said that, Wukong landed down and slowly approached Mk.

"If you really believe that destiny can't be changed, you wouldn't be using every ounce of power you have to keep him contained!"

You're done for...

Her skin started to crack as Mk spoke and upon hearing your voice in her head.

"The Monkey King I know will never stop fighting you. And neither will I."

Monkey King leaped at Mk for a strike, but he didn't attack him. In fact, his hand grabbed the staff instead, "Thanks for not giving up on me, bud." Wukong spoke up, giving Mk a small smile and surprising LBD, "Time for the hero stuff." He added before pulled the staff with Mk. Monkey King tossed off her spiritual hold to be fully free from her control, "Ugh! I can still feel her crawling under my skin." Wukong mumbled, shivering in disgust.

Suddenly, he was tackled in a tight hug, "I'm glad you're back."

Without a warning, a powerful wind hit the two as Lady Bone's anger flared, "Predictably unpredictable fools! I'm not one to rush destiny but I won't be undone by a troop of headstrong simians!" She summoned her Bone Demon powers, freeing you in the process... you were finally out and your plan worked. Subconsciously, Wukong moved and caught you before you could hit the ground.

"If the Dragon Girl will not give me the Samadhi Fire willingly, then I will rip it from her!"

Mei's screams could be heard as the Lady Bone forced Mei to lose control. The impact was very powerful that you three were thrown off the mech. Wukong held you tightly in his arms because you were still recovering from her control. Mk's friends joined shortly after and you all landed down. Monkey King put you down gently, "Hey... Thanks for saving me." He whispered to you, pushing some off your hair aside. You slowly opened your eyes and smirked a little, "The Monkey King thanks me... wow." You said in mockery.

Wukong rolled his eyes at your joke, "She will never change."

Everyone's attention shifted to the Bone Mech that started to move, pulling out two flaming swords, "You're right, MK. If you had never found that staff, none of this would have been possible. A delivery boy to the end." Lady Bone's voice boomed loudly, which made Mk walk toward her, "Now watch as I fulfill my destiny and begin this world anew! No Monkey King, no Monkie Kid! Nothing!" She exclaimed, raising the two swords up then brought them down on Mk. Her laughter echoed everywhere as she thought that she killed Mk.

However, her happiness was short lived as she let out a shocked gasp, seeing Mk in his mech holding the swords back, "No!"

"MK!" Cheered him on.

"That's my boy!" Pigsy joined him.

Wukong grinned in pride while you stared in awe as Mk held her back

"No. No! I will not be stopped by a foul, insignificant creature! You would allow this world to continue to fester and rot, the eternal misery of countless souls because of your sentimentally for mortal pleasures?!" Lady Bone accused him, using everything in her will to stop him.

"You can't judge things by their worst qualities!" Mk exclaimed while blocking her attack.

"This world might not be perfect but it's still worth fighting for!" Tang added, forming a gold symbol.

"Yeah! Sometimes it's that little bit of char that makes for a more flavorful meat, even if it is a bit tangy." Pigsy stated.

Mo meowed and jumped on Sandy's shoulder, "You said it, Mo. The world may be full of darkness but to let the light shine, all we need to do is stand together!"

The gold light reached you and Monkey King. The two of you made eye contact for a moment before nodding to each other. You summoned your powers and sent it to Mk along with the other, "I'm finally going to be free." You thought with determination, clenching your fists tightly. You all watched as the Celestial Monkey Mech was built with his friends' powers.

"The perfect world is what we make it. So as long as I have my friends by my side, this world! Is! Perfect!" Mk spoke up, keeping on pushing LBD back. The demon didn't give up and kept on forcing Mk to use the Samadhi Fire, "A child's notion! I will not indulge it!" She was angry, you could tell, her destiny will be destroyed eventually.

Your eyes widened when you saw green fire coming out of the mech to Mk, "The Dragon Girl broke free." You were now one hundred percent sure that she was done for certainly. Tang used chi to free everyone from Lady Bone Demon's hold. The powers from various demons come together and the size of the celestial mech grew. Mk created a celestial staff that was very huge. Ne Zha then appeared and attached Fire Wheels to the celestial mech. Mk began to lower the staff strongly on the Bone Mech.

"Here! Comes!"

"Monkie!"

"No! You will not take my destiny from me!"

The Lady Bone Demon still wasn't going to surrender and created a barrier to protect herself. However, you and Wukong joined them, holding on the staff while Mei summoned her dragon avatar.

"Kid!"

And just like that, The Lady Bone Demon was defeated once and for all.
