I know in my announcements I've changed my mind several times, but I've finally narrowed it down.

I will be soon writing a new Ray story, but I honestly cannot choose between two different options as they are both INCREDIBLE.

I'm going to give you a summary on both options although they'll most likely change as the book is in the making. I want you to choose as you are the readers, so here we go.

THE CRUEL PRINCE is by far one of the most amazing series I've ever read. ( although I am only on the first book of a 3-book series. ) If you've read or have heard anything about the books, you should know of their amazing romance and fantasy.
the author of this series is the extremely talented Holly black. I am in no way taking credit for her work of the series "the folk of the air." I love her and her work.

this story shall take place in Faerie, a land where fae and other mythical creatures dwell away from humans. it is a dangerous place for humans; fairies and other mythical creatures can easily kill, enslave, and force them to do anything against their will-- unless, of course, they have learned of certain protections.
you, y/n, shall be a mortal living in the high court of faerie. you will find out why you are living in such conditions when you read this story.
Ray is a prince, heavily inspired by Cardan Greenbriar. he hates you, and you hate him and his rude group of friends. it's always been that way, and you could care less... however, things have gotten worse as you've grown. he and his friends have become crueler than before, getting away with anything their dark hearts desire.
you attend school outside under the stars, as for faeries night is the day, and the day is night.
although the story will take place, and was heavily inspired by the cruel prince, It will be very different.

THE SONG OF ACHILLES has made me sob numerous times. but, I love it. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for this book, it's definitely one of my all-time favorites.
Madeline Miller is the talented author who wrote the story, and I am in no way trying to take credit for her masterpiece of a book.

this story shall take place in ancient greece, a time where gods, goddesses, kings, queens, and warriors roamed the earth.
you and Ray shall be inspired heavily by Achilles and Patroclus.
you, y/n, were sold at the age of ten to the king of Phthia. you were meant to work around the castle while being taught to be a "proper wife" to one of the many exiled boys. however, things changed when you caught the eye of the prince, and warrior, Ray. he is the prince of Phthia, known to all for his goddess mother and incredible strength. the ravenette is both mortal and god.
what shall happen when the two of you become close friends, and eventually, lovers?
