    TODAY WAS the day that Maddison and the rest of the scream cast go in for screen test and chemistry reads for some of them.

"Okay, Maddison." The director said, "This is Jack." he said pointing towards a tall curly haired boy.

"Hi." he said waiving at Maddison.

"Hi."

"He is auditioning for the role of Ethan." He told the girl. "So this is do this scene and we'll see how it goes." he said.

They both nodded, "Okay well, we'll give a few minutes to read over your lines." he said handing them scripts.

The director walked away and Maddison turned to talk to him.

She cleared her throat before speaking, "Uhm, my name's Maddison. But almost everyone calls me Madi."

"Cool, you already know my name.." he said awkwardly, "Sorry if I sound... boring."

Madi chuckled remembering the similar conversation she had with Mikey.

"It's okay, I was once in your shoes and trust me, I was much more awkward." she said shaking her head.

"I doubt it."

"Okay, you two ready?" the director asked the two who nodded in response.

"Okay, Action!"

    MADI FINALLY finished her scene with Jack. They said their goodbyes and got each other's phone number's .

    Now Madi had to do a chemistry read with a some girl.

   "Madi, this is the girl who is auditioning for Hazel. You know the drill, i'll let you to talk." he said before walking away

    "Hi." the girl said shyly.

     "Hi, uhm, what's you name?"

    "Oh, Isabel. But most of my friends call me Izzy." she said smiling.

    "That a cute nickname, Uhm i'm Maddison but you can call me Madi."

    Izzy opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by the director.

    "Action!"

MADI FINALLY finished her screen test.

"God, i'm so tired." Madi said as she gathered her stuff.

"I know me too." Jenna said from behind making her jump.

"You scared the shit out of me!" she said putting her hand over her chest.

"Sorry." Jenna said laughing. "Are you gonna go home?" she asked the startled girl.

"Yeah, you?"

"Well, I was gonna ask if you want to dinner with me."

"Just me and you?" Madi said smiling.

"If that's weird I can invite Mason and the rest of them-"

    "No, no! It's- it's fine. We never really hang anymore. It'd be nice to catch up."

    "Okay, well are you ready?" Jenna asked.

    Maddison's eyes sparkled as she nodded in agreement. "Alright, let's embark on our adventure," she said sarcastically, making Madi laugh.

    Jenna then gently gripped Madi's hand, causing a delightful blush to paint Madi's cheeks.

JENNA LAUGHED loudly at Madi's comment. "Okay, okay," Jenna said, trying to calm down. "Please stop talking, I can't breathe anymore," she said, placing her hand on her chest.

"Okay, let's talk about something else. Have you met Jack and Isabel?"

"Uh no, what are they like?"

"Well, Jack is the sweetest boy ever! He's so nice! I really hope he gets the part, he would be perfect, wouldn't he?" she asked Jenna.

But Jenna didn't reply.

Instead, she just stared at the girl in awe.

"Jenna?" Madi asked, bringing her back to life.

"Yeah?"

"Don't you think Jack would be perfect for the role?" she asked the confused girl. "Oh, y-yeah. I bet."

"And Isabel. Oh my gosh, I already love her! She's the sweetest girl ever! She's so funny and..." Madi trailed off about Isabel and how amazing she was.

Jenna's jaw clenched, a mix of envy and longing filling her as Madi gushed about Isabel's incredible sweetness and hilarious personality.

"Yeah, she sounds... amazing," Jenna said dully.

Jenna took a deep breath before speaking again "Madi, can I ask you something?" Jenna asked the girl.

"Mhm," Madi said, smiling as she nodded.

"Madi, I like-" but was cut off by someone.

"Madi?"

Marcus?!" said in disbelief.

"The brown haired boy nodded with a smile

"I haven't seen you in forever!" she said getting out of her chair and hugging him.

Jenna's eyes rolled as the two of them swayed back and forth, their moment abruptly shattered.

"You remember Jenna, right?" Madi said letting go of the boy as she gestured towards Jenna.

"Of course. How could I not?"

"Hi, Marcus." Jenna said dully, pressing her lips together and giving him a small smile.

"So how've you been?"
