Y/E/N = Your enemy's name

Y/T/N = Your teacher's name

You and Y/E/N have hated each other since first grade. The both of you were very competitive and raced to be the top. Everybody knew that you two despised each other. Well, except for one teacher. Y/T/N had been new to the school, and didn't know about the drama between you and Y/E/N, so Y/T/N had announced an assignment.

"This will be in partners. Not groups of three or more!" Y/T/N warned, with a strict face. All the students nodded, and Y/T/N smiled as she said the names. You were pretty normal, until Y/T/N said, "Y/N with Y/E/N," Y/N froze, paleness across their face. Y/N looked behind to see Y/E/N, cocking his head sideways at you.

YE/N smirked, and Y/N rolled his/hers/their eyes. "What an ego," Y/N muttered, scowling under his/her/their breath. After the names were listed, Y/T/N told everyone to sit with your partner and discuss the topic. "What? Are you just going to stare at me or are you going to do something?" Y/E/N asked, tapping his/her/their chin.

Y/N scoffed, but went to Y/E/N's desk unwillingly. "I don't want to be partnered up with you for this assignment." 
"You think that I don't feel the same?" Y/E/N said back. Y/N raised his/her/their eyebrows, but  shrugged at the end. Y/E/N chuckled, and both of you started planning your assignment, and you couldn't deny. Y/E/N was pretty cool.
