D was dragged all throughout Heaven in search for the mystery Angel Emily wanted them to meet. They gripped tightly onto her hand as they passed by startled winners and angels, with D yelling a quick "sorry" to each person they accidentally ran into. "E, I know you are excited for me to meet this person, but --" they yelped when they finally stopped and Emily let D go, squealing and flying off in front of them.
"Whoa!" A voice yelled when Emily threw herself into their arms, hugging around their waist. "Hey, I'm glad to see you too Em, but a little warning, please, you're not that small anymore" the voice laughed, hugging Emily to them. Him. D finally got a good look at the new voice, and noticed the blond locks first, before spotting his golden eyes and the band uniform he was dressed in. On his head was a giant "A" in the middle.
"Sorry! But I wanted you to meet my new friend!" She let him go and zoomed away, grabbing D by his shoulders and pushing him forwards so the angel could see him. "Ta-da!"
"E, please don't present me like I'm a gift." D spoke, his voice dry. Emily only giggled and threw an arm around his shoulder, hugging him to her side.
"Abel, this is D, D, this is Abel!" She exclaimed. Abel, the blond who spoke moments before, grinned, his aura definitely blinding. Why are angels so fucking bright. Abel flew towards them quickly, the older man looking at D with curiosity, like he's never seen a Sinner before.
"Wow! I've never met a Sinner before!" Abel exclaimed, D's ear twitched at the statement, which caught the first son's attention. "Whoa!" He went to reach out to touch the ear, but D grabbed his wrist.
"No touching," were the words they finally spoke to him.
"Oh, shit, my bad." Abel withdrew his hand, a golden hue coating his cheeks as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"D's here with Charlie! For a meeting of course, and I wanted you two to meet before the meeting." Emily explained, letting her new friend go.
"Oh, cool! Yeah, my dad's gonna be at the meeting too, along with Lute." Abel grinned.
"Adam's gonna -- oh, that is not good." The way they replied to that had Abel curious. Usually people who met Abel were a little weird about it, or they obsess over him just because he's one of Adam's first children. It was a relief that D didn't see him as such. "He hates the idea of the Hotel. He's gonna make this so much harder." Emily rubbed their shoulder sympathetically.
"Well," Abel was trying to think of a way to get the sinners mind off of the meeting, "oh! Why don't me and Em show you around! We can show you the best places here!" Abel suggested. D looked at him, skeptical, before signing.
"I guess." The two angels squealed at their response, startling D as Emily grabbed their hand again, the two dragging him back down the road of Heaven. What the --? D was confused on why Emily and Abel had taken such a liking to them. They didn't dwell much on the thought, and just followed the two with a smile, watching as they started talking about something D didn't know about. Their hand squeezed Emily's hand gently, their tail unconsciously wagging in happiness.

D wanted to cry, they haven't had ice cream this good since they were alive. Their ears were pinned back as they kept biting into the cold sweet, getting a look from Emily as she continued to lick hers. "Aren't your teeth cold?" She asked.
"Nah, I used to bite into ice cream like this when I was alive." D shrugged, eating the sweet again as Abel was already done with his. Emily shuddered, looking away from them, turning her attention towards Abel.
"You think we can steal Peter from the gates for a bit?" She asked.
"Not sure," he shrugged, "we could go and ask him. D, have you met Peter yet?" He asked. D nodded.
"Yeah... He's a little ball of sunshine and way to hyper." Abel and Emily laughed.
"I can't argue with that, he is... Well, he's just naturally happy, so it's no wonder he fits so well in our little trio" Abel chuckled, thinking fondly of Peter. D smiled. He kind of reminded them of Charlie in a way. They wondered what the princess was doing right now anyways.
"Are you three always this half?" D asked them. The two angels looked at them.
"Why?" Emily tilted her head.
"Nothing, I'm not used to being surrounded by so much happiness. Charlie is the only one who's happy enough to make me feel like I'm not damned for eternity." The angels almost forgot that this was a Sinner they decided to befriend, and not a winner. "Sorry, I brought the mood down, huh?" They asked, finishing their ice cream off.
"No, no" Abel shook his head, giving them a charming smile, that got D's cheeks to warm. Good thing they had fur. "Sorry, we forgot you're only here temporarily."
"Yeah, bout that, won't your father get pissed your socializing with a Sinner?" D inquiries. Abel shrugged.
"Probably, but he wouldn't stay mad for long. Believe it or not, he's actually a good dad." Abel said, D looked genuinely surprised by this. Adam, a good father? Yeah, that didn't sound like him, then again, D only saw the exorcist version of the man.
"Well, that's good to hear I guess." D chuckled.
"Okay, enough talk, let's get Peter!" Emily stood up from her seat, wanting to grab their other friend. Looks like the two didn't have a choice but to follow the hyperactive Seraphim. D wondered if their mother was here, in heaven. They wondered what she looked like now. Would she even still consider them as her child?
