Pairs.

"What took you so long, Ed?!" Yumeri's voice echoes.

"I'm a busy person, you know."

"If you're busy, then don't come with us," Yumeri crosses her arms. "You make us wait for ages when we are running out of time-"

"Stop blabbering, Yumeri. I'll punch you."

"Oh, so you want to-"

"Okay, let Mikey speak now," Draken interrupts them both and gathers everyone on one place, including you and Chifuyu.

After Chifuyu comforted you, you felt much lighter. You believe in yourself and your friend. And most importantly, you believe in him, Izana. You trust him.

As usual, Mikey stands at the top, with Draken behind him. The mini ceremony is started by greeting the highest with respect. Mikey then explains what happened. He called you and Chifuyu to help him with the information. Of course, this caused violent reactions from the others.

In order to silence them, you bowed down to everyone and speak. "Please help me find my parents. Let's help Izana too."

Even though they are doubtful of Izana, he is still Mikey's brother so they will support whatever Mikey will decide.

"Is everyone in?" Mikey asks, not forcing any individual to participate. He wants to make sure everyone is willing to help. No one disagrees which gives Mikey the signal to continue. "Since we don't know where they are, we have to search for them. Chifuyu and (L/N) don't have any idea of the location. We need to scatter around the area and find them as soon as possible."

"Let's do it in pairs, Mikey," Draken suggests. "We'll expand the searching place to the whole Tokyo."

"Mm," Mikey agrees to this. "I'll be with you, Kenchin. Pair up, mina."

"I'll handle this dork," Yumeri says.

"No. I'm going with Chifuyu."

"Chifuyu can be with (N/N)-chan. And you, you're going with me."

"She's right, Baji-san. It's also not good to leave the women alone," Chifuyu added.

"Hey! are you underes-"

"Shut up. Okay, we'll go together," Baji shushes Yumeri by placing his hands on her face, particularly on her mouth.

"Smiley and Peh-yan, you can go together," Mitsuya says. "I'll call Hakkai to help me."

After deciding and pairing up, Mikey divides the places to be searched. He assigns each pair a location and dispatches everyone. As a remark, he wishes everyone a good luck and their safety.

"We'll stop searching at 12 AM. We can continue tomorrow," Mikey announces. "Do you agree with that, (L/N)?"

"M-me?" You ask. "Why me?"

"Because we're also rescuing your parents. I hope you don't report Izana to the authorities."

You stop for a second. Chifuyu made you forget about the danger your parents might be in. But, then again, "I believe in Izana. He won't hurt my parents."

"Make sure you report to me before going home. Let's meet here again, mina." Mikey reminds. "Be careful. If you ever find Izana and the rest, do not go without us."

With that, everyone went away and drives to their designated places. Chifuyu suggests that you ride with him. You want to refuse but Yumeri asked if she can take the motorcycle with her. She explains that she doesn't want to ride with Baji because he drives fast.

In the end, you hop in Chifuyu's bike. He starts driving in an average speed, enough to make your hair fly and dance with the wind. You didn't bother to hold since he isn't fast.

"Am I going too fast?" Chifuyu asks.

"Mmm?" You scooch closer to hear him. He repeats his question. "No, I actually drive faster than you."

"Really? Should I go faster?"

"It's up to you."

Chifuyu fastens his pace, making the breeze cooler. "You can hold me if you want."

You didn't listen to him. The wind gives you a comfortable feeling even though it's cold. It makes you think about Izana. Despite him being a tsundere and acting cold, it is indeed fun and comfy around him. Oh wait, he's a yandere.

After few minutes of traveling, you arrived at your destination. It was quiet all the time and now, the searching begins. Since it is an abduction, you both decided to go where it is quiet and only few people are in.

You look around the places. You never been there and you doubt Izana will be there. Chifuyu leads the way for you, making sure you follow him closely. He monitors you so he can protect you in case you are afraid of the dark or some stray animals or maybe a speeding vehicle.

"Hey, (L/N)-san," Chifuyu calls. "How did you get in Toman?"

Due to the creepy silence, Chifuyu decides to start a conversation with you. This is also a chance for him to get closer to you. You're one of the female members of Toman and he hasn't seen you fight yet. He's curious as well.

"Yumeri forced me," you exaggerated.

Chifuyu chuckles. You flinch because of the sound he made. His voice sent chills to you. "So she's superior?"

"You thought she's not? She's literally the captain. Not me."

"I thought she is the captain because she's Mikey-kun and Baji-san's best friend," Chifuyu explains.

"There's no one superior between us. She treats me like a baby and I treat her like a slave."

Chifuyu looks at you with slightly widen eyes.

"Nah, I was just kidding. We are bestfriends. She dragged me in and I was interested. It was actually us, forcing Mikey to make us part of Toman," you chuckle.

"If Mikey-kun let you become a member, then he must've acknowledged your strength. "

"Yeah. I once fight with Mikey."

"Eh?" Chifuyu halts for a second to walk beside you. Of course, he still looks around if there is any suspicious place. "So you won? Did he let you win?"

"Maybe? Or maybe not? I was minding my own business when Yumeri brought Mikey and Draken to trespass in our home. She said that if I impress Mikey, we will be members of the gang."

"How did you impress him?"

"Mikey asked me to attack him but I didn't. So he charged towards me... and I just dodged him. He crashed on our wall but he was okay. After that, he asked me to punch him but I didn't... so he punched me... and I blocked it. It was all I did. He told me I was interesting."

"Did he punch hard?"

"Yes. It hurt like hell but I didn't show it to him. He looked like a little boy in elementary school and I didn't want to get inferior to him so I didn't reacted."

Chifuyu chuckles again. "After that, you became a member?"

"Yeah? He asked me to buy him candies and bread. In exchange, he gave me the Toman uniform."

"Mikey wouldn't do that with no reason. Now, I find you interesting. I wonder how you fight."

"You haven't seen me yet?"

"I'm busy looking after Baji-san, hehe," Chifuyu scratches his head.

"Oh, I haven't asked you in a match yet?"

"Match?"

"Ah, nevermind," you grin awkwardly. "Anyways, that time Mikey charges towards me, I was actually nervous. He went too fast, I was lucky to have a fast reflexes."

"Mikey-kun is really amazing, eh?"

"I can't disagree-" your last syllable becomes high pitched when a stray cat touched your legs.

Chifuyu reacted to this and pulls you to the other side. He holds you by your shoulder, while he try to figure out what happened.

"Meow~"

"Oh," Chifuyu crouches down to pet the little stray. "It's cat."

You look at Chifuyu who seems to be enjoying what he is doing. You never think of him as a cat person so the view is actually quite amusing. You sat beside him and realize that he is feeding the cat.

"Where did you get that?"

"What?" Chifuyu looks at your figure, unable to see your face. The moonlight is shining behind you. "These treats?"

You nod. "Yes. Do you have that all along?"

"I often give Peke j treats so I never forget to bring these anywhere."

"Who's Peke J?"

"My cat," Chifuyu smiles. "He's a black cute cat. One of a kind. I like to hug him."

You chuckle at his answer. "You seem proud. So you're a cat lover. You don't look like one."

"I only have one cat though," he says, giving back his sight to the cat. "Baji-san feeds stray cats who visit him."

"People say that cat lovers are soft people. After you tell me that Baji-san is one, I doubt it."

You made him laugh again. "It doesn't seem so but Baji-san is a good person. You can ask Yumeri to be sure."

"You are soft, Chifuyu. You are also a great person," You say out of gratitude. Since he helps you with this, he comforts you and he makes sure you're doing okay, you are very thankful.

Maybe it was cold... is it cold? Maybe, because you notice Chifuyu's ears start to redden. You see his smile get bigger. You realize that Chifuyu is not only kind but is also handsome. His girlfriend or future girl would be very lucky to have him.

"Thank you," he says, shifting his gaze at you without removing his smile. "And you are, as well, a great person... uh, can I call you by your first name?"

"Mm, sure."

"You're the best, (Y/N)," he states, standing up and reaching his hand out to you. You held it for support and stand up too. "Now, let's continue looking for Izana-kun."

"Hey, can you speak?"

"I... I... I—" Takemichi starts to feel his body again. He's still tied up but the blindfold was removed.

"Water?" Izana asks politely.

Takemichi slowly nods due to his weak body. He barely sees the tanned guy because of his swollen eyes. He feels dry so he's actually thankful and surprised, at the same time, to hear Izana offering him a drink.

Izana walks towards a small table at the corner. He pours water to a glass before walking back to Takemichi. He doesn't feel any remorse as he gaze at the poor body.

He stops right in front of the half-dead guy. Takemichi slowly looks up to meet Izana's gaze. Takemichi is startled when Izana threw the cup of water in his face.

"Hey," Izana drags a small chair and sits in front of the other. "Wanna know why I'm doing this?"

"..." Takemichi is too tired to answer so he waits for him to continue.

"It's for (N/N). Her family hurts her. Her family abandoned her. They deserve to die," Izana discusses, curling his fingers angrily. "And you. You are too nosy. You don't know when to stop. You don't know where's your boundaries. So you... you deserve to die too."

"Iza—"

Izana stands up to get another cup of water. This time, he lets Takemichi have a drink. He looks at the poor guy disgustingly.

"Izana-kun," Takemichi's voice is weak, Izana even has to get closer to hear him clearly. "I'm sure (Y/N)-chan is looking for you right now. You shouldn't disappoint her."

"After doing all of this, I'm sure she'll be happy," Izana smiles.

"She treasures both you and her family... So Izana-kun, don't hurt her like her family did."

"What the fuck are you saying? I'm not hurting her. I'm protecting her. I'm doing this for her sake."

"She'll be happier to see you safe. She'll be happier if you don't get in trouble, Izana-kun."

Even though Takemichi seems to be spitting nonsense, Izana's eyebrows furrow. He listens to what the other is claiming. Deep inside, he knows Takemichi is right.

"Don't hurt (Y/N)-chan's feelings, Izana-kun."
