Once all of you got inside, your eyes freely roamed around the interior of the building along with Keith in awe. He practically has his jaw almost dropping though. Velvet giggles at both of your reactions and cleared her throat, only gaining your attention onto her while Keith examines every part of the studio and all the way to a small stage with ginormous speakers in the center of it.

"I will go get Father while I change into something little more formal. He'd be out once I inform him of your arrival."

With that, Velvet playfully winks and excuses herself out of the room. As you watch her go, Keith shakes your shoulder with excitement. "Yo! Do you think her dad would like us?? I hope he's as welcoming as her." Said him with a twinge of anxiety present in his voice, you pat his hand reassuringly.

"I'm sure anyone would like you, K. You'll do just fine." He playfully scoffs at this. "So far in all of my youth, you are by far the only person who actually never found me annoying." He states, his cheeks abruptly dusting in pinkish shade. "I—I mean, Velvet and...someone also... stuck up with me, which I'm happy! But...I'm not sure if others who aren't like you guys could actually accept me, y'know?" He sheepishly fixes himself then clears his throat.

You turn to him to say something but...

"And who might you two be?"

Suddenly you both hear a deep voice speak behind the both of you, you were the first one to look over your shoulder and see a tall figure looming over both of you and Keith's form. Keith almost jumps in surprise and made a shocked beeped as he hid himself behind you. You were frozen on the spot though, and tried looking up to see who the man is.

"Heyyy!~ I see you both have already met my father! I just got changed so I'm a bit late." Velvet happily skips over behind her 'father' and stood between him and you two. "Father, I'd like you to meet Keith and [y/n]! They're both neat and I like them." Velvet casually says in the most daydreaming tone as she could muster, her father eyes her over then gazes back at the both of you. You could feel Keith grip your shoulders tightly whilst trembling.

"I see..." He speaks solemnly, then starts approaching you whilst leaning close in inspection as if he's judging you. Keith found this odd, so he was trying to hold you protectively, though he was still hiding behind you. Then the man pushes your chin up using his finger and then proceed to turn your head from side to side, observing you further. You only grew really confused by this but Velvet naturally watches with an awkward demeanor to the side while Keith was mentally panicking wether he should say something or not.

"Care to introduce yourself?" He abruptly speaks up, letting you go now.

It took a second for you to ready yourself but managed. "Er— it's [y/n], sir! It's a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for letting us be with your lovely daughter." You respond very politely with a small bow. He seems to get amuse by this since you saw him smile. "Now now, you don't have to act so formal. You'll be our future in-law either way." The three of you suddenly got stiff at what you both just heard. Surely you could've misheard that, right?

"H—Huh? Have I m-misheard that, sir?" As if he had heard a joke, he laughs at your reaction. "No, dear. As a parent, I do what I think is best for my daughter." He casually adds.

"You appear like you did not expect this response—" His deep voice speaks up, standing straight up again and stares down on both you and Keith but mostly at you. "—With that said, I approve of you dating my daughter. You seem like a perfect suitor out of everyone she had ever met with." He formally says in a somewhat flat yet amused tone.

All three of you got surprised by this, causing you and Keith stare wide-eyed back at the Father as Velvet meekly smiles from the side while sweatdropping. You then felt Keith snap back to reality behind you as he shakes his head then steps up.

"Uh, sir. I'm... actually suppose to be the one who asks for your approval—" Keith nervously starts politely, but the dad just glares in return with visible disgust and annoyance. "Oh? And who might you be, young man?" He replies, sounding calm yet slightly Irritated now. Keith slightly yelped at this but proceeds.

"M-My name is Keith, sir. It's nice to meet y—"

Keith got cut off by the man by clearing his throat in an obvious manner, it looks like he isn't happy to hear that coming from him.

"I must've misheard that. Care to repeat what you've said?" His voice became more impatient, only making Keith even more nervous than he already is. You feel bad for him, but you're too afraid to speak up anymore.

"Well, y-you see— I was hoping I could ask approval of dating your dau—"

"Not possible"

"H—Huh?" Keith gaives him a face of bewilderment, Velvet's father again speaks up with his face unmoving.

"I said; no. I'm not allowing you to date my daughter for she is already taken now." He coldly stated, gesturing towards you and his daughter. You were shaking your head in denial profusely but the man just ignores you and paid more attention on glaring at Keith. "Plus, I don't find poly relationships acceptable." He adds, looking down on Keith, appearing more intimidating.

"A-Ah, but dad! Actually—he was suppose to be the one to ask. That's the main reason why we are here!" Finally, Velvet speaks up and gets in front of her father. "You see, you got it all wrong! [Y/n] just tagged along with us a—and uhhh—" She trails off, her father seems to be confused at his daughter's rambling for a while but soon gets her. Still though, he doesn't seem all too amused— In fact, he looked even more agitated.

"Well... I must say, I feel disappointed." He remarks. "Though, my daughter's hand still stands for you to take." He speaks up again, but he faces you instead of Keith. You were waving your hands in mild panic, but then Keith finally butts in.

"Hey! How about we face this off on a battle!!"

He says, loud enough for everyone to hear with confidence. The man narrows his eyes at him and folds his arms.

"Oh, what are we getting at now, boy?" He responds, Keith smirks at this and grabs his microphone. "Seeing as you're an ex-rockstar, I thought maybe you'd like to face against me!" Keith says out loud with bursting confidence, the Father laughs mockingly at this and turns to him.

"Oh? Cocky bastard, aren't ya? What makes you think you can beat me, an ex-rockstar?" He fixes himself whilst facing Keith. Seeing as he got Velvet's father's attention fully at him, Keith smirks.

"If I win, I get to take your daughter out!—" He says as the man laughs. "We'd have to see the outcome yet, boy." Then Keith continues. "Then afterwards, you get to leave us be!"

With that, the father then agrees and summons his own microphone. Both you and Keith were surprised at this for a short moment but then quickly focused on what's next.

"Well then, let's start!"

Keith then readies himself from his position and puts his mic close to his mouth, saying he's ready.

"[Y/n], up!"

"Huh..?" You hear Velvet call you, turning your head up to see her now sitting on top of a huge three speakers while gesturing for you to sit next to her. "C'mon, up." Your mouth formed an 'o' for a sec then climbed the speakers while she helps you up, setting you right beside her. You quietly thanked her as she smiles in return, saying it's not a problem.

Now that everything's ready for both of them to start, Daddy Dearest announces:

"Now then, show me what worth you got for getting to date my dearest daughter!"

Before proceeding to the next chapter, I'd like to say that the weeks won't be in a chronological order as the devs of the game stated from one of their streams

So next chapter will already be week 3 since the spooky kids appear RIGHT before week 5, as stated from the devs again
