✦ - guess who's back!?!? correct, it's me!!!

✎ it was finally fall. that means the leaves, that were usually green, were changing into nice warm colors and slowly falling down to the ground. and there was Tsukasa and Emu, right in the center of it all...

"Tsukasa-kun, I can't believe it's already fall!" Emu exclaimed, staring at the trees around them. "ah, yes! summer sure went by quickly before we even knew it!" Tsukasa replied with his usual smile.

meanwhile, Emu felt like jumping up and down with how happy she was, and it wasn't like anything was stopping her. "I had the most Wonderhoy-ful summer ever! I'm so glad I got to hang out with you and the others this summer!" Emu shouted with glee, stopping in her tracks to celebrate as she usually would.

"woah there, Emu! calm down a bit!" Tsukasa shouted over her squealing to get her attention, but he had to agree with the pink-haired girl... he was so very glad that he got to hang out with his four bestest friends in the whole world this summer.

Emu giggled. "though, you're right, I felt like it went by so quickly!" she said with a slight frown. "don't worry, Emu!" Tsukasa glanced at Emu with assurance as he continued, "we have many more fun adventures awaiting us this season!" Tsukasa chuckled at her, making Emu feel much better.

Emu's happiness to be with Tsukasa was obvious by her expression, and it stayed that way as they continued strolling through the park. "Tsukasa, how about we go out for some taiyaki together?" Emu offers, her tone full of excitement. Tsukasa just gawked at her until suddenly, some leaves dropped down on the two from the trees up above, catching their attention.

Tsukasa blinked in confusion before turning towards Emu, "what was that?" little did he know, there was a leaf stuck in his hair. Emu gasped a bit before extending her hand towards his head to grab the leaf, which Tsukasa didn't even realize was there.

"Emu? what are you doing?" Tsukasa asks, widening his eyes slightly as Emu leaned even closer to him. she reached her hand up high, even going up on her tiptoes a bit too, but despite her efforts, she couldn't quite reach it. "Tsukasa-kun, there's a leaf stuck in your hair!" Emu explained, seeming very fixated on getting that leaf.

"Emu, hold on a second! I can get it myself, you know?!" Tsukasa panicked as a bright pink flush crept up to his cheeks since Emu was getting really close to him by now. but quickly after, she tripped, falling right into him.

"aughhh..." they groaned in unison, now fallen down onto the grass right under a tree in the park. Emu reopened her eyes, seeing Tsukasa right under her. he was still rubbing his head from the fall as the light shun onto his face from between the branches of the tree just above them.

soon after, Tsukasa opened his eyes as well, seeing Emu on top of him. he stared up at her in silence, blushing so hard to the point he could've been mistaken for a tomato. "u-uh..." Tsukasa grunted.
"...E-Emu... about that offer..." Tsukasa mumbled through his embarrassment.

"really?! we can go get taiyaki together?!" Emu responded enthusiastically, though they remained in that awkward position, but I guess Emu was too distracted by Tsukasa to care. "yes, yes!" Tsukasa shouted out in embarrassment, continuing, "j-just get off of me.... I-I can barely move in this.... position...!" Tsukasa was blushing really hard, making Emu jump off of him quickly after.

Tsukasa stood up beside Emu with a deep breath. dusting off his clothes, he said, "just don't be too loud in the taiyaki shop, alright?" Tsukasa sighed, but he couldn't help but smile along with his hyper friend.

they walked out of the park together and down the sidewalk when Tsukasa felt a freeze down his spine, making him shiver. all he had was his scarf, so he had to blow into his hands to warm himself up. Emu, who was right beside him, noticed this.

"Tsukasa-kun, what're you doing?" Emu asked, as she clearly didn't understand how cold it was at the moment because she was much more prepared for the weather than Tsukasa was.

"oh, Emu!" Tsukasa turned towards her before rubbing his hands together for warmth. "I'm just a bit cold. I didn't think I would need my gloves today, but it's more cold than I thought!" Tsukasa insisted he was fine, but his teeth chattering said otherwise.

Emu giggled as she reached her hand out to grab Tsukasa's. once their hands were intertwined, Tsukasa felt his face heating up, but the good thing is, I guess that helped him defeat the cold, he even started to sweat!

all the way to the taiyaki shop, they held hands. Emu didn't seem embarrassed about it whatsoever, however, Tsukasa was the total opposite. he was breathing heavily as Emu swung their intertwined hands back and forth excitedly.

"I can barely control myself from grabbing her face and pulling her in for a kiss.... and yet, there's Emu... so carefree! w-wait, why am I even thinking about that!?" Tsukasa thought to himself, starting to panic, but then he realized they had finally reached the taiyaki shop, which happened to distract them both.

Emu swung open the taiyaki shops doors, revealing its contents for the morning rush. multiple people were around, eating their own yummy taiyaki's. meanwhile, Emu dragged Tsukasa into the shop with a massive grin spread across her cheeks.

"it sure is popular today, huh?" Tsukasa mentioned, looking at his surroundings. two little boys were making their way up to the counter to order by themselves, and an old couple was sitting at a booth, drinking some tea, but many other people were scattered around the shop as well.

"it's as popular as it was when I used to visit here with my grandpa!" Emu squealed, still dragging Tsukasa up to the counter with her.

they stopped in front of the counter, standing beside each other. they looked like an adorable couple holding hands like that, so I guess that's what made Emu say.... "can we have a couples' meal of taiyaki, please?"

Tsukasa's eyes widened and his cheeks turned bright red at those few words... "a... what?!" he exclaimed.
