✦ - afterwards, on the train...

✎ Emu plopped herself down, right next to Tsukasa while Rui and Nene sat next to each other on the other side. Emu faced Tsukasa quietly, trying not to startle him. she realized him holding the plush tightly to his body, burying his face in the fluffy bunny's head. 'he must really like that cute little bunny I got for him. I'm glad!' Emu thought, turning away.

suddenly, she felt a sudden weight drop down onto her shoulder, she looked over to see Tsukasa, sleeping peacefully. she stared at his face for a while.

Emu blushed quite a bit. 'he may never know how much I love him, but... he really is cute, especially when he's with his friends,' she thought, grinning at the sleeping male.

Tsukasa held the plushie closer in his sleep, even starting to snore softly. is was so relaxing watching Tsukasa so peaceful, so eventually Emu started to close her eyes as well.

Emu felt a sudden stop in her sleep, making her flutter her eyes open. she looked over her shoulder, seeing Tsukasa, still sleeping and snoring even louder than when she had just went to sleep.

she shook him rapidly, trying to wake him up. "Tsukasa-kun... you seem really sleepy," Emu whispered to a half-awake Tsukasa. "mmm..." Tsukasa mumbled, sounding very tired.

"Tsukasa-kun? are you sure you'll be able to walk home by yourself?" Emu asked, worried. "y-yeah, don't worry about me..." Tsukasa claimed even though he was literally stumbling. Emu shook her head. "I'm bringing you home, okay?" Emu insisted, picking up Tsukasa, which had fell back to sleep.

"are you sure you're okay bringing him home by yourself? he must be pretty heavy..." Nene asked but Emu declined the offer. "I'll be okay!" Emu beamed. she was actually a bit tougher than she looked.

Emu carried her crush all the way home as he hugged tightly onto the pink bunny plush she had gifted him. once Emu reached his house, she knocked on the door to leave him with Saki.

"oh, Emu! thank you for bringing him all this way... you really didn't have to," Saki exclaimed, waving her hands around thankfully. "no, it's okay... I'll do anything for my cru- I mean, bestfriend!" Emu almost exposed herself before exiting Tsukasa and Saki's house.

Emu turned totally red in sudden realization. (wow, what a late reaction!) "what am I doing? did I seriously carry him all the way home!?" Emu mumbled to herself as she squealed all the way to her own house.
