Ray's POV

,,The T.V. ain't even working!" I flung the remote against the white wall and threw myself on the bed. ,,This is some bullshit."

We were currently in one of the bedrooms, trying to figure out what the fuck to do. Well at least Aki was. ,,Maybe if you got your ass up and helped?"

,,Nah, I'm just gonna take a nap, ya'll be easy though." I took off my suit jacket and shoes and slipped next to Denji in the comfortable bed. A couple loud sobs deny me the pleasure of sleeping though.

,,W-we're all go-gonna die here." I sat up and deadpanned at Kobeni. ,,Girl, what?"

,,I- should have become a sex worker!" She fell on her knees and started balling her eyes out. The bozo made his way towards her and engulfed her into a hug.

,,You must stay strong Kobeni! You're a devil hunter damit!"

,,I WANTED TO GO TO COLLEGE, BUT THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MY BROTHER!"

,,Bruh shut the fuck up!" I groaned in annoyance and got off the bed. I walked towards Kobeni and bozo, pushing him away and grabbing her by the collar

,,Listen here Kobeni, we're not gonna make it out of here, if you keep this shit up. You know devils are attracted by fear, and not gonna lie...You're lookin' very delicious right now." I let go of her and was met with Aki's disapproving gaze.

,,What? I was just motivating the chick." I innocently shrugged and laid back down with Denji. I suddenly felt a hand squeezing my breasts tightly, causing me to yelp.

,,What the fuck?!" I jumped off the bed and glared at Denji, who just had a mischievous look on his face. ,,What?"

,,What do you mean 'what'?! You just sexually assaulted me??" I glared at him and he only blinked as if not acknowledging how weird what he just did was.

,,Fuck this, I'm gonna help Aki look for that thing." I stormed off and looked for my boss, eventually finding him smoking a cigarette by a window while staring at nothing.

,,Hey." I leaned against the window and eyed him. He spared me a glance and stared back into oblivion. ,,I came here to help."

,,Hm." I rolled my eyes and groaned at the male. ,,Why are you like this?"

,,Like what?" He raised a brow

,,Like so...emotionless?" Raising my arms in frustration I stared at him. He shrugged

,,I'm not 'emotionless', I just don't wear my heart on my sleeve." I sighed

,,Fair enough. Can I have a cig?" I pointed at the cigarette between his fingers.

,,No." I huffed

,,Why not?"

,,Because I said so." I placed my hands on my hips and furrowed my eyebrows in anger.

,,You know what? Ever since this morning, you've been acting like a bigger ass, than usual. What is it with you?" The dark male remained silent. Suddenly a sinister smirk made its way towards my face as I remembered something.

,,Ah, I see" He gave me a side eye and raised a dark eyebrow. ,,You're jealous."

,,What would I be jealous about?"

,,You're jealous, I got into Makima's pants before you." His head snapped towards my direction and a slight blush was visible on his face. ,,Bullshit."

,,Oh yeah? Then why'r you being a bitch?" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow at him.

,,I-" Suddenly we both heard a loud groan come from behind us. As we snapped our heads towards the direction, our eyes widened as we spotted the devil from earlier. Only this time, the fucker was ten times bigger.

,,What the hell.."

,,I'll go tell the others."

,,I thought I killed it.." Power said in disbelief as she eyed the creature.

,,I have never seen a devil of this power before." Himeno stated with wide eyes. This devil got us all fucked up.

,,FOOLOSH HUMANS" The beast spat shocking all of us.

,,It can speak!"

,,I'LL OFFER YOU A CONTRACT!"

,,A contract?" The confusion was clear on all of our faces.

,,YES, FEED ME THE HUMAN NAMED DENJI AND I WILL RETURN YOU UNHARMED!" My head snapped towards Denji's direction, who had a timid look on his face.

,,FEED ME DENJI AND I WILL SET YOU FREE!"

,,Shut the fuck up." I spat out and sighed at the devil. ,,We're not feeding you shit."

,,Aki, can't you end this thing with your fox?" Himeno asked the dark haired male. He nodded and did the finger signs to summon his devil.

,,Kon." Nothing appeared..

,,Just as I had suspected. This place is completely cut off from the outside."

,,And your fox is in Kyoto..." Himeno let out a sigh of defeat. I hold my chin and begin thinking of what I could do.

,,Miss Himeno." We all turned our heads to look at the bozo. ,,Can't we just kill the boy?"

,,Woah, woah no one is killing anybody." I hold my hand up in Denji's defense. I'm not surprised at all, that the human is more than willing to let his comrad sacrifice himself because he's a devil.

,,It's not even gonna let you guys out if it kills me anyway." Denji shrugged

,,Actually, it will. The devil called it a contract."

,,So?" I furrowed my eyebrows

,,So, both parties must honor the contract. If we give it Denji and it doesn't let us out, it instantly dies." Himeno explained

,,See? Miss Himeno let's give it what it wants." I glared at the bozo.

,,If it was a human, then you wouldn't even think about sacrificing  them." I crossed my arms and looked away.

,,I refuse this contract." We all looked at Aki

,,Why would this devil want us to specifically kill Denji. It obviously benefits from his death." He stated matter of factly

,,Me neither then." Himeno stated

,,Yup." I joined in

,,But-"

,,I'm on team kill Denji!" I deadpanned at Power.

,,B-but if we don't kill Denji, we're gonna starve to death!" I turned around to see Kobeni, who had regained her consciousness standing with a knife, ready to attack.

,,Aki, do you even have a plan?" Himeno asked. The dark male only sighed and covered his eyes with his hand. ,,If it comes down to it, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to use the sword." A serious looked made its way to Himeno's face. What sword was Aki talking about?

,,No." I was confused at her answer. If a sword is what it takes for us to get the fuck outta here, then let him use the sword, bitch.

,,Dude, if the sword is gonna get us outta here, then use it. The fuck?" Denji voiced my thoughts like a mind reader.

,,Aki is not, using the sword, even if it comes to the worst. And if it does, I'm afraid you're gonna have to die, Denji." My mouth fell slightly open.

,,Why???" I asked and she remained silent, irritating me. I must admit, I've had the wrong impression of Himeno. When I first met her and she saved me, I had gained hope in humanity.

I thought she was different from the other devil hunters, but I guess I was wrong. ,,Just so you know, I'm not gonna let you kill Denji." I narrowed my eyes at her.

,,Oh? You seem very protective of Denji. Is there something going on between you too?" She teased with a smirk. I smirked back

,,Oh, you don't know the half of it." We stared into each other's eyes, as if daring the other to look away. Suddenly, we heard a glass shattering scream come from the monster.

,,RUN!" We got up and sprinted as fast as we could, all seven of us.

,,GIVE IT TO ME GIVE ME CHAINSAW!"

,,I WILL BE THE ONE TO KILL YOU!"

,,I THE ETERNITY DEVIL!"

The monster kept growling and we kept running. We ran, and ran and ran until the room tilted all of a sudden.

,,WOAH!"

,,This is bad." We looked down at the devil, who was waiting for us to fall into its trap.

,,SOMEONE KILL DENJI, PLEASE I DONT WANNA DIE!" Kobeni screamed with tears streaming down her face. ,,YES I AGREE LETS JUST FEED IT DENJI ALREADY!"

,,No! I'll just...I'll use the sword.." Himeno instantly attacked Aki with her ghost, in an attempt to halt him from using his sword.

,,Dude, what the fuck!" I glared at Himeno with fire in my eyes.

,,We would probably get out of here if Aki uses his sword. But per the terms of his contract, Using it will shorten his life span, by a lot."I sighed as I couldn't find any words to say.

,,There's a lot, that Aki still has to do. Sorry Denji." Kobeni and the bozo came out of nowhere and launched themselves at Denji. ,,DENJI!" I called out for my partner to watch out.

Kobeni was about to stab him, but Aki managed to get in the way, recieveing the impact instead.

,,Yeah, he's a piece of shit, and killing him is 100% justifiable. But he's out to get the gun devil, and I can really use his help..." He winced at the sharp pain.

,,W-what do we do now..."

,,Fuck it. I'm letting that thing eat me." My head shot towards Denji with a look of disbelief on my face. ,,NO!" I gripped his bicep tightly

,,Don't worry, it'll hurt as fuck, but once I'm in there, I'll bust out the Chainsaw." He stared deeply into my eyes, and his were telling me to trust him. I sighed and nodded slowly, letting go of his arm.

,,Don't you die on me.." I playfully punched his arm and he chuckled. ,,I expect a blow job when I get us outta here." I rolled my eyes and watched him pull a string from his chest and jump into the devil.

,,Don't you die on me..."
