( 41. 'interview 2' )

ARIELLA SAT down next to walker on the navy blue couch in the interview room. today, walker and ariella were doing a joint interview for a popular entertainment show. (oh guys btw i forgot to do this last chapter but uhhh ari got a pjo acting deal!!)

the host, an woman named amber, was sitting opposite them, her bright smile in place. she had the kind of energy that made you feel comfortable, like you could laugh and share anything.

"so, we've got the it couple here today," amber began, her eyes twinkling as she glanced between walker and ariella. "walker scobell and ariella madison, everyone! how are you two doing today?"

ariella smiled warmly, her hand resting on walker's thigh as she gave a soft laugh. "we're doing great. excited to be here."

walker nodded, his hand subtly brushing against hers, "yeah, super excited."

amber chuckled, leaning forward slightly. "well, you two are one of the most talked-about teen couples right now. you both looked amazing on the red carpet last night."

ariella grinned, feeling a little shy under the attention, but walker made her feel grounded. "thank you, amber. i lovee this dress you have onnn"

the host smiled, nodding. "oh thank you, thank you! you two really do have great chemistry. now, before we dive into your relationship—which we're definitely going to get into—we've got to talk about something that's been on everyone's mind lately. ariella, you've been really open about your passion for acting. and recently, there's been a lot of buzz about you auditioning for a role in percy jackson and the olympians. tell us, how's that going?"

ariella's stomach flipped. she hadn't expected the question to come up so quickly, but she'd been preparing for it. her fingers tightened around walker's for a moment, his thumb running soothingly over her knuckles.

"i'm honestly just so grateful for the opportunity," ariella began, her voice steady as she turned toward amber. "ive been a huge fan for years. the books, the movies—everything. so when I got the chance to audition, it was kind of a dream come true."

walker smiled proudly at her. "she's got the energy for sure," he added, his voice warm.

ariella laughed, the tension in her chest easing a bit. "i've always wanted to be part of something that's really meaningful to people, especially with how much the series means to fans. but, yeah, the audition process has been a wild ride. it's still in the works, but im staying hopeful."

amber leaned forward, her expression intrigued. "it must be so surreal. i mean, you've been in the spotlight for a while as an influencer, but this is a whole new level, right?"

ariella nodded, a soft smile tugging at her lips. "definitely. it's different, but in a really exciting way. ive been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to prep for it, and honestly, it feels like everything i've done so far has been leading me to this moment. i'm just trying to take it one step at a time."

walker's gaze softened as he looked at her, his voice full of admiration. "i think she's gonna crush it. she's been working so hard, and i know she's gonna bring something really special to the role."

ariella's cheeks flushed at his praise, her heart warming. she gave his hand a quick squeeze before turning back to amber. "well, thank you for believing in me, walker. but i'm just trying to stay grounded and focus on what i can control."

Amber smiled knowingly, clearly sensing the genuine passion behind Ariella's words. "we love that humble attitude. and, walker, you've been a huge supporter of ariella in all of this."

walker grinned, shifting slightly so he was facing ariella more fully. "yeah, i mean, she's amazing. i've got her back no matter what. watching her chase her dreams has been pretty inspiring."

ariella's heart fluttered again at his words, the simplicity of them so genuine. she never got tired of hearing him talk about herrr. 

amber's eyes twinkled, clearly enjoying the dynamic between the two. "well, it's clear that you two have got something good going. before we wrap up, one last question—ariella, do you have any plans to continue your youtube channel along with pursuing acting? how are you balancing everything?"

ariella paused, thinking carefully about her answer. "i do. i love making content, whether it's vlogs or whatever else. it's a huge part of who i am, and i wouldn't want to give it up. but acting is something that's always been a dream of mine. i think i can do both—there's a way to make it work. i just have to stay organized and make sure i'm not spreading myself too thin."

amber smiled, leaning back in her seat. "it's so inspiring to see both of you so grounded, so dedicated to your passions. thank you for sharing with us today. we can't wait to see what's next for both of you."

ariella smiled at amber, feeling a sense of pride well up in her chest. "thank you for having us. this was fun."

walker smiled, pulling ariella a little closer to him as the interview came to an end. as the cameras turned off, they shared a quiet moment, just the two of them, in their own little world for a second.

"i'm really proud of you," walker said softly, his voice almost a whisper as he leaned in to press a kiss to her temple.

ariella smiled, her fingers brushing over his hand. "i'm proud of you, too."

as they walked off the set, their connection felt even stronger. With each passing moment, they were growing—individually, and as a couple. and no matter what happened with her audition, she knew one thing for sure: walker would be there by her side.
