I think i woke up a few minutes later because i heard Billy scream and i jolted awake with a sharp pain in my head and i got up and joined Billy running away from the creature and i used my powers to hold it in place while Billy got away

"ALEX COME ON"

I then started making a run for the car while Billy got it started and once i got in he speed off and after a few minutes he came across a telephone booth and he started calling the police station

"tell them we need hopper and to tell him it's happening again he'll understand"

once the lady picked up the phone our world flashed with the upside down until we were both there and saw a crowd coming towards

"What do you want"

"I SAID WHAT DO YOU WANT"

"Billy I think we should start running now."

"why"

"remember what i told you about last year"

"the upside down?"

"yeah this is it"

Then two people out of the crowd stepped out and It was me and Billy

"what the fu-"

"what do you want"

the billy and Alex clone then say

"i want you to build"

[normal billy] Build What

[clone billy] What you see

[normal Billy] I dont understand

Then the upside down disappears and Billy continues to say i don't understand

The next morning

I woke up this morning with no recollection of what happened yesterday and i felt really sick and i was pale and Billy offered to stay home with me but i told him he could go and after he left i could go back to sleep so i went to go take a cold bath which helped and once i got dress the phone rang.

"Alex speaking"

"Hey Alex you know russian right"

"Yeah robin why"

"well i could you come down to the ice cream shop in starcourt mall"

"yeah i'll be there in a few"

I drove down to the Mall and went into the ice cream shop

"Hey robin"

"hey come on"

she then took me around back to reveal dustin and steve and then steve goes to the front

"Dustin welcome home and what are you doing here"

"well it's a long story"

"then give me the short version"

"i intercepted a secret russian code"

"alright lemme hear it but just know my Russian is rusty"

They play the recording 

" alright i know it says The week is long. The silver cat feeds when blue meets yellow in the west. A trip to China and then i don't know the last 6 words because it's new russian i only know old russian because of my now deceased mother"

"thanks Alex and sorry about your mother"

"oh no i hated that bitch"

"same i really hated her but i didn't wanna say anything"

"anyways i'm gonna go tell steve"

"steve guess what"

"I cracked most of the code"

"That sucks but what'd you figure out. wait and how did robin know that you speak russian"

later that day we're walking out the shop and we notice that steve isn't with us and we turn around and see him at the toy horse

"what are you doing"

"does anyone have a spare quarter"

robin then throws him a quarter and says "are you sure you're tall enough for that ride"

he then puts in the quarter and just looks at it

[robin]"you need help getting up little stevie"

"shhhh would you three shut up and listen"

[dustin] holy shit

"wait steve is that the-"

[dustin] the music he says while pulling out the recording

He then plays the recording and the songs are the same

[Robin]"i don't understand"

[dustin] "it's the exact same song on the recording"

"well maybe they have these horses in russian"

[steve}"indiana flyer i dont think so"

"yeah trust me they don't"

[steve]This code didn't come from russia it came from here

After steve said that everything started flashing but the others weren't there it was just me and someone was calling out to me and they told me to come but i didn't know where and when it stopped everyone was still standing there talking about the song

"shit guys i forgot i had to do something i gotta go" and before anyone can say anything i make a run for the door then my car and i start driving but i don't know where it's like someone was guiding me and once i got there there was a sign that says car works and i see billy's car. I go inside and i see Heather tied up on the ground and billy standing next to her. I then fell a sharp pain in my arm and then i look at in and my veins we're black and when i looked back up it was like a darkness took over me and i was looking at a creature standing over heather 

i knocked on El's bedroom door

"hey El can i come in"

"yeah it's open"

I go in to find Max and El

"hey Max"

"Hey Alex"

"El there's something wrong but i don't know what"

"i don't understand"

"okay so two nights ago i had this nightmare and it was a clone of me and when it reached out to me it had an arm like the shadow monster but it wasn't a shadow anymore it was alive and you how Will couldn't take warm baths last year the same thing is happening to me and if i come near something that's hot my skin will melt right off and i'm missing more than half of a night from my memory and for the life of me i cant remember anything after i left the mall and until i came here and i was with billy and it's the same for him i don't know i can't explain it"

"so what do we do"

"so i was think i could stay over and if it happens again you could use your powers and see what i'm talking about and you could help me"

Max then had the idea that El could use her powers to see what Billy is doing and he was standing over a girl who was screaming and then billy sensed her. The next morning we head over to Billy and Max's house and we looked around and went into the bathroom and found a tub full of water and empty bags of ice. El then looks over to the cabinet that has blood on it and she picks up the trash can and inside it it had heather's lifeguard bag and her whistle that has blood on it and then Max, El and i go to the pool to see what the hell is up with Billy,Heather and me but they weren't there so El used her powers to find out where they are and they were at heather's house.once we got there El unlocked the door and we walked in and heard music coming from the dining room and we walked there Billy and heather's parents were talking and once they noticed us heathers mom asked who we are and El asked where Heather was and she came in with cookies and Billy said that he took care of her cause she was sick which we all know is a lie and the father asked again who we were

[Billy} oh yea sorry this my girlfriend Alex and Maxine my little sister and her friend and i'm sorry i did not quite catch your name

"El"

"now what is it you were saying El? you were looking for somebody?"

"nevermind"

{mother] you guys should stay you know with the storm and all

"guys i'm gonna stay here i'll try to figure out something and if i do i'll tell you"

i stayed while the two of them left and when they left i got flashes of when El was closing the gate even though i wasn't there when it happened and i could feel myself slowly drifting away while something was taking me over. After a while janet spilled some wine and said she was feeling light headed and then as she was walking away she fainted and tom went to check on her and told us to call an ambulance but it's like it wasn't me and i grabbed the win bottle and knocked tom over the head while Heather but something over his mouth that knocked him out and it was like we were all mindless robots .
