Billy went into the school to get his stuff from his locker and i stayed outside to smoke a cigarette and then i saw jonathan and Nancy pull up in jonathan car next to me 

"what's up" i say leaning on the hood of his car 

"we're planning on doing something that's gonna take the lab down. so we wanted to ask if we could mention you"

"go ahead you don't even have to ask cuz those little shits came for me yesterday"

"they did what now"

"it doesn't matter but i gotta go now so expose those sons of bitches and make me proud"

I then put out my cigarette and head over to my locker and everyone's eyes are on me ad steve comes up next to me

"are you serious"

"what'd i'd do"

"you're dating that douchebag hargrove"

"so"

"he's just using you"

"steve i know that you're trying to look out for me but he's not and if you're right you get to beat his ass up ok"

"i promise now lets get to class before we get detention"

the rest of the day went normally and i met up with billy and max and max was pissed off because she had a fight with lucas

[billy]"that kid you were talking to who is he"

[max]"no one"

[Billy]"no one?"

[max]"just a kid from my class"

[Billy]"why was he talking to you"

[max]just about a stupid class assignment

[billy]then why are you so upset

[max]i'm not

[billy]he causing you trouble

[billy]Because Max you're a piece of shit but we're family now whether you like it or not meaning i'm stuck looking out for you

[bily] hey he says while grabbing her arm

[billy]this is serious shit okay.  i'm older than you and something you learn is that there are certain type of people in this world you stay away from, and that kid max, that kid is one of them, you stay away from him stay away he says as if i'm not even there and i didn't say anything.

i then get out of the car and start walking

"Alex what are you doing"

"what's it look like i'm doing im walking home"

"Alex get in the car"

"no because you continued to be an ass to max when she didn't even do shit and pretended i wasn't even there so you can go ahead and drive home but i'm walk"

I walk from my the school to my house and i unlock the door and get my keys and get and my car and go to the byers house and i see a bunch of drawings on the ground

"Ms.byers"

"oh Alex i was meaning to check up on you after yesterday are you okay"

"yea i'm fine but hows will"

"not good"

"i hope he gets better and what is all this"

"i don't know but it's what will sees"

we then hear a knock on the door and it's mike and joyce tried to get him to leave but he says he knows about the shadow monster so she lets him in. Mike and I talk to will to try to figure out what it is but we have no luck and we end up staying at byers for the night.

The next morning

i slept on the couch and i woke up from will and mike coming into the from talking about hopper

"well where is he"

"i don't know they're in my now memories but i don't know where it is"

"shit well i have an idea but you guys stay here"

I get out of the house and drive down to the cabin and i open the door and i find a box that says the lab on the side and there's a bunch of files that say terry ives and jane ives and i look through it and i figure out that jane is El and is the daughter of Terry ives.

"EL!"

no answer

"EL WHERE THE HELL  ARE YOU"

"EL"

"FUCK"

i go back to the byers house and i see bob and he looks like he hit the jackpot and i go up to mike

"so my plan failed but it looks like he figured it out"

[bob]it's a map of HAWKINS. right will

and we all look at him dumbfounded. an hour later we figure out where we have to go to find hopper and i go in my car while Ms.byers,bob.mike and will are in one car. I follow them and we make a sharp turn and see hopper's car. I get out of the car and joyce and bob get out of the other. we all go over to a hole and see vines

[joyce]Vines. bob give me that she says pointing at a shovel

before he can hand her a shovel i light the vines on fire and once the hole opens i take it out

[bob} how did-

"best not to ask too many questions"

we search for hopper for 5 minutes then we find a cigarette trail and follow it and find hopper and he tells us to use his switchblade and i use fire to loosen the vines from around him and once we get him free we turn around to see someone from the lab in a white hazmat suit and he tells us to leave. Once we get up there we see a bunch of people in white hazmat suits and i can see them start burning the tunnels and will doubles over and starts seizing. They then stop the burn and quickly transport him to the lab while i'm in my car following them. Once we're there will is screaming that it burns but they check him for burns and there's nothing and to stop him from feeling something they sedate him. While he's sedated me and joyce are in a room full of people from the lab and they're talking about how will will have the best care here but joyce argues that no one here knows whats wrong with him

"this is pathetic the way i can tell you what's wrong with him but you the doctors don't"

[doctor] well if you're that smart you can tell us

"so the shadow monster as we call took over will as a host but not fully yet but will is able to see what the shadow monster sees so the shadow monster can see what will see. The shadow monster can't exist in our world if he doesn't have a host so since will was in the upside down last year he inhabited himself in him and he feeds by killing and spreading so if we can't get out of will it's the end of the world as we know it oh and never underestimate me got it just because you have Doctor before your name"

They all look at me dumbfounded and send joyce back to will's room while they talk. They're trying to figure out what to do then bob calls us over and once i get there will doesn't remember who bob is

"will do you remember me?"

he then points at me with no emotion in his eyes

"Run now"

Me and joyce look at each other confused and then the doctors perform some tests and the rest of the doctors and I gather in the conference room waiting for someone to come in with will's test

"this is him last week and this is nothing different from what we see in posttraumatic stress" he says showing scans of will's brain

"this is will from last night as you can see there are now abnormalities in the limbic and paralimbic areas and this is from an hour ago

[owens] i dont hear any suggestions

[doctor] we have bigger problems than the boy

"like what exactly like hunting me down 2 days ago to come back to the lab"

everyone slouches down in shame

[ownes] they did what now

"oh you guys didn't tell him how nice and as a little gift to you they're all dead on the edge of town so yea"

[doctor] we can't keep delaying the burn

"that's all you fuckers care about"

[doctor]why is she even here

"because i can tell you why the brain scan looks different"

[owens]keep going

"okay bring back the one from a week ago""alright you see all the red patches that's because he was experiencing PTSD along with visions from the upside down" "now get the one from last night" "the red patches increased because the day before the shadow monster inhabited his body as the host." "now for the one from an hour ago that's because he can feel what the shadow monster feels and the burn affected him and since it's in will he regained strength in will and is trying to take him over so your burn means nothing if he's still in will"

[owens]so how do we get it out of him

"that's what we have to figure out"

i go back to will's room and joyce is trying to talk to owens and will's heart rate goes up

[mike]"will what's wrong are you hurting again"

[will] i saw something

"what'd you see"

[will}"the shadow monster i think i know how to stop him"

i then go and tell owens and they get all the pictures of the tunnels and put it in the conference room and bring will over to tell us what he knows. he then moves over to a certain picture which is the hub of the tunnel and he picks it out and tells us that the shadow monster doesn't want us to see there. i then decide to go with them so i get a burner and a gun and make it down with the rest of them. owens leads us to the hub and there's nothing but vines there

[guy in hazmat suit] "i guess your kid is full of shit doc"

"oh shut your annoying ass up before I kill you"

[guy in hazmat suit]"alright got it"

[doctor over comms]"you guys got company"

"what the the fuck do you mean company"

[doctor over comms]" there are more than 20 heat signals coming your way

then a bunch of fog comes in and i can hear screeching

[guy in hazmat suit] "i can't see anything" 

then we hear screeching getting closer and i can hear the guys scream and shoot their guns and i can feel something next to me and it looks at me and doesn't do anything. the fog then clears and i can see more than 20 demogorgons and all the guys are dead. All the demogorgons leave me alone and i start running towards the lift 

[hopper] "alex are you there? Alex?"

"shit,shit,shit"

i make it to the lift

"pull me the fuck up right now"

they pull me up and i can see demogorgons crawl up the wall and i start shooting at them which slows them down and once i get up there hopper pulls me out and everyone's looking at the demogorgons break the glass

[hopper] you sure about that glass doc

we all run out the room and hopper closes the door and the alarm starts going off. owens then takes us towards the stairs and we get to will's room and he's passed out and soldiers are shooting at demogorgons 

[hopper] we gotta go we gotta

"you don't have to tell me twice"

hopper picks up will and run towards a room but i can see 4 demogorgons go after them so i use my powers to hold them off and once they're safe i kill them and i run towards the room they hid in and i can hear the screech of demogorgons coming closer and i bang on the door

"OPEN THE DOOR. OPEN THE DOOR"

the door opens and hopper pulls me in and owens tells us how we can't get out unless we reset the breakers and hopper says that he'll do it

[bob] you can't do that unless you know BASIC

[hopper] i dont know what that means

"it's a computer programing language"

[hopper] okay teach it to me

[bob]"shall i teach you french while i'm at it jim"

"how about a little russian too "

None of the adults know basic besides bob so bob went to reset the breakers and the crazy part is he actually did it and hopper lead us to the door and joyce stayed there waiting for will

[hopper] Joyce we gotta go"

[joyce] no i'm waiting for bob

"shit uh hopper i'm gonna go pull the car around" 

i start my car and then the rest of them come and joyce is crying but no bob so i put two and two together. Mike,will,hopper and joyce get into hopper's car. hopper goes first and starts honking because jonathan,nancy,steve,dustin,lucas and max are in the way. Nancy and jonathan get into their car and start driving so does hopper and then i stop 

"get in shit heads"

steve,dustin,lucas and max pile into my car and i hit the gas

"first of all max what the hell are you doing here"

[max] "long story short lucas told me what happened and steve fought 4 demogorgons"

"wait lucas did you tell her about me and El"

[lucas]"yea sorry about that"

"it's fine i wanted to tell her anyways saved me the trouble"

we all drove down to the byers house and hopper called the cavalry but no one believed him once he was done with the call i went over to him

"uh hopper by the way i went to the cabin and El wasn't there she found a box that's full of information about her and her mother but when she comes back you better not get mad at her because i know what it feels like to be locked away and not be able to experience freedom when it's right there out the door"

"alright i won't yell at her"

"you promise"

"i promise"

"alright now go talk to ms.byers"

hopper goes over to ms.byers and everyone else is talking and then we all engage in the conversation and figure out a way to try and get the mind flayer out of will. We take everything out of the shed and hand stuff on the wall to make it unrecognizable and once we do we get a chair and tie will to it and we wake him up with bleach on cotton balls 

[will] what is this why am i tied up why am i tied why am i tied up

the lights then start flickering and then he calms down we try mutiple times to get will to come out but it doesn't work and i'm standing next to hopper and i can see will taping

"hopper he is talking look"

[hopper] morse code

we then leave the shed and tell everyone what we found out and we have steve,nancy,lucas,max and dustin decode what will is saying. he then stops taping and and the phone rang twice and i left the shed and started to smoke a cigarette and the rest of them went inside the house and i could heard screeching but it was close and it was too late to go into the house

" not this shit again"

i put out my cigarette and i get ready to fight off a demogorgon and as it gets closer i hear a rustle from besides me and i turn to see El

"Nice look El"

"bitchin"

"for sure bitchin"

we then see demogorgons and fight them off and all run away except one and El kills it and throws it through the window. she then unlocks the door and we both walk through the door and mike and El go and embrace each other in a hug
