Brielle's POV:

It was hours later when the tea disaster happened, that Ro and Sen needed to leave the tea early feeling really embarrassed

When me and Carlos was still getting to know each other; I felt that me and Carlos are different

a few hours before the ball started, me and Luciana were discussing our watercolors, as our friendship was growing between

Currently, the ball starts when the guests have arrived, and Luciana and Carlos walk over to me and Tonio where Carlos offers me to dance as Tonio asks Luciana to dance

Luciana and I accepted the dances that my brother and Carlos had offered as we began dancing the waltzes.

Me and Tonio took the dances as an opportunity to get to know more about the princess and the prince on a deeper level

Since Carlos and I have a feeling that Luciana had asked me and Tonio about our interests and our personalities earlier back at the garden

Now that the four of us were dancing, it was my and Antonio's turn to ask them about what they liked in their past times, their interests

"So Carlos, please tell me, what do you like to do in your time? Taking a stroll into nature? Going to the beach waters?" I asked 

Carlos looked down not knowing how to answer but he did

"I like collecting precious rocks and knowing more about the kingdom. Do you?" Carlos answered before he asked 

I was feeling disappointed about hearing his answer as we danced

"Um.... not exactly," I said 

"Well, what do you like to do with your spare time?" Carlos asked 

"Painting, going to ballet shows, Do you like romantic plays?" I answered before asking 

Carlos was disappointed about my answers not knowing what to say 

"Um.... not exactly..." Carlos said 

We softly smiled as we continued dancing when the music ended, I curtsied to Carlos as Carlos bowed to me 

Carlos and I looked at one another when his father walked over to us 

Where we looked at him "What a wonderful couple you two will make." King Julius complimented 

"With you two being together it's a wonderful jewel the world will get to witness." King Julius continues  

Carlos looked at me as I looked at the King "Well the jewel must be coming from you where Carlos got his wonderful looks from." I smiled 

"Now, Carlos thank you for the wonderful dance. King Julius, Carlos if you excuse me, my brother and my sisters need me." I curtsied to the two royals before leaving 

I walked to my brother with a smile, seeing that my sister Rita was dancing with him 

"May I join in on the fun dance?" I asked, smiling 

Where my siblings looked at me when Sofia grabbed my hands and we started dancing together, giggling    

Then a few moments later, Sofia let go of my hands seeing the stairs that caught their attention 

The guests followed and were in awe of seeing the top of the mid-stairs  

Where we see the twins walking down the stairs wearing the most beautiful attires in the kingdom where Ro is wearing a beautiful peacock-themed ballgown as Sen is wearing a handsome peacock-inspired suit, holding a rose 🌹

Sen's Suit:

Ro and Sen started walking down the stairs as Tonio and I were in awe of their beauty 

They walked down the stairs, entering the ballroom where Tonio walked to Ro as Sen walked towards me before gifting me his beautiful rose 

"For you Brielle... you're just beautiful as this rose and much more." Sen complimented making me blush as my heart fluttered 

I accepted the rose from him "Thank you." I thanked him before asking "Sen would you do the honors of having your first dance together? I smiled 

Then Sen became nervous at the thought of dancing in front of the people 

He worried about getting embarrassed in front of the people, making a fool of himself 

"I don't know, Brielle..." He nervously started as we walked to the middle of the ballroom as Tonio and Ro are 

Before loving music was playing where I softly smiled at him 

"Don't worry I'm right here. If you and your sister are brave before, you're definitely brave for having your first dance." I smiled causing him to smile and lightly blush 

We started dancing, looking into each other's eyes having a wonderful moment together 

As we dance together, where our hearts are fluttering even more as we twirled, spun around 

Then he gently lifted me up by my waist and twirled me, making me laugh before lowering me down   

"Please stay Sen, you and Ro can be happy.... with me and Tonio," I asked 

But Sen sighed knowing that we couldn't be together 

"Brielle, I can't... Prince Carlos..." Sen stated with a frown 

"He's very kind Sen but I..." 

"You belong with Carlos, Brielle, together," Sen told me 

"It was a mistake for me and Ro to come to the ball... Goodbye, sweet Brielle." Sen walked away with his twin sister 

"Please Sen....." I frowned as Tonio pleaded to Ro "Please you don't understand"

Then the twins looked at us "Please Brielle, just forget about me... you deserve more.." Sen frowned 

"Please don't make this any harder.." Ro frowned, walking toward her brother   

Causing me and Tonio to sadly see that the two we really love has exited the ballroom

I looked at Tonio before he pulled me into a brotherly hug as the two of us were really feel 

Then Mother walked over to us causing us to end the hug to let us know that Father needed to have a serious talk with us immediately once the ball had ended 

Before we watched Mother walked away causing us to sighed 

"I don't want to lose him Tonio... He means a lot to me..." I sadly frowned 

Causing him to sadly sighed too "I don't want to lose Ro either Elle." My brother frowned 

"But what can we do, our Father is so set on us marrying Luciana and Carlos," I asked, frowning 

my brother was thinking of a solution before he came up with one 

"There is this, Sister...."  Antonio says before we start walking to the throne room 

He told me about the decision to abdicate our rights to the throne

I don't know about this but if this is the only way for us to be with the one we truly love is to give up the throne 

It took a few minutes before we entered the throne room where Father was finishing his current task on the servant  

"You asked to see us, Father?" Tonio asked 

"There's been a change in your wedding plans." Father told Antonio before looking at me " And there's been a change in your future Brielle." He told me

"Yes?" Antonio and I hoped that Father had reconsidered our suitors  

"You're marrying Princess Luciana in two days." Father motioned his right hand to Antonio before addressing me "And you're marrying Prince Carlos once you turn sixteen." Father told me 

Causing us to be in absolutely shocked 

"What? Two days?" Antonio asked in shocked 

"Next year Father?? Are you serious Father?" I asked him in shocked 

"We can't!" Antonio and I said in unison 

"Can't what?" Father pressed with an angry expression 

"Marry somebody we don't love." Antonio continued 

"You have a responsibility to marry a princess. To align our kingdoms. I don't believe you can say a bad word about Princess Luciana." Father lectured my brother, raising his arm motions   

"No. She's a wonderful girl!" Antonio shook his head, confessed 

"Brielle, it's also your responsibility to marry a prince. To also align our kingdoms. I also don't believe you say a bad word about Prince Carlos." Father lectured me 

"No, He's a wonderful and kind boy" I sighed, admitting  

"Then there's nothing more to discuss." Father dismissed the conversation

Seeing that there's no other way, Antonio and I don't have any other choice but to see what we both decide "You once told me great kings make hard decisions." Antonio began  

"Exactly." Father agreed

We looked down, pondering for a moment before he continued "This is the hardest thing we've ever done, Father. But neither Brielle nor I can't spend the rest of our lives with someone we don't love." 

Then Antonio took off his crown and set it on the top of the drawer 

"My sisters will run the kingdom," Antonio told him 

Before Father looked at me with a stern expression

"What about you Brielle?" Father sternly asked

"I'm sorry Father but I'm with Antonio on this one, Carlos is a wonderful prince but I only see him as a friend," I answered before he and Tonio watched me remove my tiara and sit next to Antonio's

"I can't be a princess if I or Antonio can't be with the ones we truly love." I made my decision   

Father walked forward "Don't try my patience," Father warned 

"Sorry, Father. I don't know any other way." Antonio apologized 

We started leaving for the greenhouse hoping that the four of us could sail away far and have our own happy lives 

We arrived at the greenhouse hoping that Ro and Sen are there as we opened the gated doors 

"Ro? Ro? Are you in here?"  Tonio called for her 

"Sen? Are you here?" I called for him

But they weren't here in the greenhouse causing us to sighed 

We took out paper and a quill and started writing a note for the twins for us to begin our new lives away from the royal life and Father's displeasure 

"'Please meet me in the Rose Garden tonight. Let's sail away together. Forever yours, Antonio.'" Antonio wrote her a note 

"'Sen, Tonio, and I gave up on being the prince and princess. If you still love me with all your heart as much as I love you, please meet me in the Rose Garden tonight. Me, you, Ro, and Tonio will sail away together to be happy. Forever Yours with Love, Brielle.'" I wrote him a note 

Then we rolled the papers into scrolls and left them on the tree, hoping that they'd get the letters 

Before we started leaving the greenhouse, to the 'Rose Garden' where we'd be waiting for them 

Next Morning:

The next morning arrived where Antonio and I sadly sighed seeing that they didn't come to the 'Rose Garden'

 Antonio and I looked at each other before we hugged each other trying to cheer ourselves up but we both knew that we really felt and we had made our decisions
