Friday

I pack my last outfit into my bag and put in some everyday necessities like, my hairbrush, deodorant, toothbrush, etc. once I was done with that I headed downstairs and made myself a rice ball. I told my mom I was going on to stay with my best friends for the weekend and surprisingly she didn't ask much about it. I can't let her know about volleyball, she would freak out and make me quit right away.

I sigh as I take a last bite out of the rice ball. I check my phone for the time and it's 6:30 p.m I should probably get going now since the bus leaves at 7. I throw my bag over my shoulder and head out the door.

It took me about 15 minutes to get here. I look up and see oikawa and his girlfriend ami and the rest of the team. I walk over and greet everyone "good morning guys!" most of them smile and say good morning. Ami turns around to look at me "morning ami" I tell her but she just looks at me then back at oikawa "why do you have to go away for the weekend! I don't want you to go especially because she's going to be there!" she points at me and oikawa looks at me. I gave them a fake smile "um ami if you're worried about me... don't be I-" she cuts me off mid sentence "who said you could talk?" this girl is really starting to piss me off. My hand forms a fist and just as I was about to swing someone stopped me. "it's not worth it" I look up to see who's holding my fist and see Iwaizumi. I calm myself down and bow down to apologize "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me!" Ami looks at oikawa and starts to whine "you see that tooru, that monster was about to hit me!" Oikawa doesn't say anything but just hugs her.

I sigh and just go inside the bus. She's so annoying. "you can sit with me if you want" I turn around and my eyes meet with Sakai's (the club advisor) "yeah sure" I give him a smile and sit next to him on the bus. "that girl really is something huh?" Sakai says and I turn to face him, I giggle a little "yeah but she must be some good in her if oikawa likes her right?" he nods his head and looks out the window. There has to be some good in her right?

we arrive at the training camp and I hop off the bus "y/n!" I turn around and see oikawa "what's up?" he rubs the back of his neck "um I'm sorry about how ami acts towards you... she's just a little insecure that's all" I nod my head "don't worry about it, it's all good" he flashes me a smile and we all walk into the camp. I head straight to the managers room to drop off my stuff.

I walk into the room and see a bunch of girls. This girl that had light brown hair and gray blue eyes came up to me "hi you must be seijoh's manager right?" I smile at her "yeah I'm l/n y/n!" she smiles back at me "you can call me kaori, I'm fukorodani's manager" I nod my head "what year are you?" she asks me "oh I'm a first year" she smiles "do you want to meet the other girls?" I nod my head "sure" she grabs my hand and pulls me towards the other girls "guys this is seijoh's manager l/n!" they all wave at me "hi!" they all said in unison. They all seem so nice and they're all really pretty. We went around in a circle and introduced ourselves. "I'm karasuno's manager, shimizu kiyoko" I got startled by her angelic voice, she's like a goddess. She's so pretty I want to cry. "uhm i'm also karasuno's manager and uh my name is hitoka yachi!" she's like a little cinnamon roll. I look at her in awe "I didn't know karasuno had two managers?" Kaori asked "I recently joined.." yachi said. We carried on introducing ourselves. One of the girls said she was inarizaki's manager, that's right suna said he went there.

"it was nice to meet you all!" I put my bag down and walk out the room to meet up with my team.

On the way to the gym I ran into someone.

As I was about to fall to the ground they caught me. I regain my balance and say "sorry about that!" I look up and see "kuroo?" he smiles "ahh l/n hi" I smile back "what're you doing here?" I ask curiously "I play for nekoma, what're you doing here?" I then say "I'm seijoh's manager" he smiles at me "we're actually about to play seijoh right now" my eyes widen "they must need me, I have to go. See you around kuroo" I wave goodbye and rush to the gym. I see the guys stretching and coach tells me to go refill the water bottles and I do as he says.

The match ended 27-25 with nekoma winning.
I hand the guys the water bottles and they wipe their sweat.

The play a couple of more rounds and then Kaori called me over "l/n! cmon we have to make food!" I nod my head and dismiss myself from coach and sakai.

I run over to Kaori and we walk to the lunchroom together. I meet with the other managers and I helped make the food. I actually wasn't that bad at cooking, most of the time my mom would leave me alone at home so I had to find a way to eat somehow. We made rice balls and takikomi gohan. All the food smelled delicious and i couldn't wait to eat.

"l/n right?" I turn to see yachi "yeah that's me" she smiles "um kiyoko asked for us to fetch all the teams so they can eat" I nod my head "let's go then!" I grab her hand and run out the door "s-slow down l/n!" I look back and see yachi struggling to catch up. I stop and say "sorry yachi" she smiles at me and says "it's okay" I smile back and we walk to the first gym, where karasuno and fukorodani were playing "FOODS READY HURRY UP OR YOU WON'T EAT!" I scream to the guys and they all look over at us and I make eye contact with Kageyama but quickly look away. Yachi hides behind me and all their eyes lit up "yay I'm hungry!" one of the guys says and they all start walking towards the gym.

we go to fetch all the other teams and we walk into gym 4 where Inarizaki and Johzenji were playing. That's when I see them, suna, Atsumu and Osamu.

Atsumu set the ball and Osamu spiked it to the ground. My eyes sparkle "THAT WAS AWESOME!!" the teams looks over at me and I notice Atsumu looking at me.

"suna look it's your girlfriend!" my face heats up. Suna, Osamu and Atsumu walk over to us. "hey pretty" i smile at him "hi suna" Osamu observes yachi and she quickly gets behind me "that's yachi, karasuno's manager" they nod their heads "anyways... I just came here to say that the foods ready" Osamu eyes lit up "good I was getting hungry" he then walks off to the direction of the lunchroom. Atsumu then faces the teams direction "THE FOODS READY!" everyone quickly ran out the gym and soon it was just me, Atsumu, suna and yachi. "um I'll see you in the lunchroom l/n" i give yachi a soft smile "see you" yachi waves bye before running away. "I didn't know you'd be here" Atsumu says "yeah I'm seijohs manager" "that's cute" suna replies. "Well we should head to the lunchroom now right?" I ask the guys, Suna's stomach then grumbles and I giggle "I'll take that as a yes" Atsumu laughs.

"so I/n we should hang out sometime" suna says while wrapping his arm around my neck "yeah I would be down for that" I respond back to him.

soon we arrive at the lunchroom, once I walk in my eyes immediately meet with Kageyama's and I quickly look away "let's eat over here" Atsumu says and we walk over to a table near the door.

Kageyama POV:

hinata was talking to me about how perfect my sets were "you're sets were so amazing today" when I heard the lunchroom door open. I turn my head in the direction the door was and saw l/n walk in with two boys by her side, one had his arm wrapped around her neck. I don't know why but it kinda stung. My eyes meet with hers but she quickly looks away and they sit at a nearby table. I sigh and continue eating.

Y/n's pov:

"you guys hungry?" I ask and they nod their heads. we go and grab some food then sit back down. Every now and then I would take small glances over at Kageyama, he was eating really fast... "something wrong?" I look back over at suna and smile "um no it's nothing" I say and continue to eat.

Time skip:

I just finished taking a shower and head back to the managers room. "oh l/n Kageyama came looking for you earlier" yachi told me "did he say what he wanted?" she nods her head "um no sorry" I sigh "it's alright I'll go find him" I wave goodbye to her and walk out. now what room would he be in?

I walked around the hallways for a couple minutes till I heard some muffled noises "HINATA BOKE GIVE IT BACK!!" ahh it's Kageyama. I smile to myself and go to open the door. When I open the door I see Kageyama shirtless and hinata running away while holding his shirt. I quickly close the door and I felt my cheeks heat up. I JUST SAW KAGEYAMA SHIRTLESS!!! "l/n?" I turn around to see Kageyama putting his shirt back on while closing the room door. I try to calm myself down "oh umm hey Kageyama.." he observes me "did you need something?" I look up at him "yachi told me you came to our room looking for me" he blushes a little before saying "oh yeah I was just um bored and wanted to talk"

I laugh at his comment "would you be down to sneak out?" he scratches his neck awkwardly "why?" I look at my shoes "well we can sneak out later and head to the store or something" he smirks "l/n is a bad girl now?" I felt my face getting really red so I turn away from him "it was just an idea.. you don't have to go. I could just ask oika-" he cut me off mid sentence "I'll go" I turn back around and smile "see you later!" I pat his head and walk back to my room.
