you sat at the top of a grassy hill currently waiting upon the arrival of your two best friends.

the wind brushed upon your skin and made your hair fly back, it felt refreshing.

"you called and we're here" kai said as both him and nai approached you

you smiled as you got up and embraced them in a hug.

"wow you really out did yourself" nai said as she sits down on an empty space on the laid out blanket.

you had set up a nicely and very neat picnic that contained a bunch of sweets like some cake, chocolate and gummies and also your favorite foods and drinks.

"this looks amazing" kai says as he also sits down

you follow their actions and sit down as well "yeah well you guys deserve the best"

they turned to look at you confused "you're in an awfully good mood.. the hell happened" nai says as she munched on a snack

"well I decided I would tell you guys in person since my last attempt failed miserably... umm me and kageyama we're finally together" you softly said

"aw I'm so happy for you!"

"it's about fucking time!"

laughter filled the air "yeah... finally" you repeated as you reached for your f/d

"since we're opening up I have something I want to confess" nai says

you and Kai exchange looks for a second then turned to look back at nai

"I'm seeing someone"

"THE HELL??!?"

"since when tf!?!"

she laughed as she seen the reactions from the both of you

"since two weeks ago... his name's tadashi.. yamaguchi tadashi"

"where'd you met him?" you asked now fully invested

"he was sitting at a park all by himself and me being me I went up to him cause I thought he was cute and surprisingly he was able to keep the conversation going and he was just really interesting to me"

my lips formed a huge smile as I tackled nai with a hug "IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!"

"okay okay! let me go now!" nai exclaimed as she attempted to push you off of her

kai chuckled at the sight "looks like I'm the only single one left"

your eyes turned to him "you'll find someone.. you're a really good friend you know that?" you reassured him

"WhAt abOut MeEE??!" nai whined "shut up you big baby!"

"so when can we meet this 'yamaguchi' kid?" kai asked

"yeah we can we met him" you teased nai as you poked her sides

"stop it!" she said as you blushed furiously "wow!!! look at her!" you beamed as you saw how flustered your friend got.

"yamaguchi!" kai continued the teasing causing nai to become an even bigger blushing mess.

you've never seen her liked this before... must be some guy huh?

"gosh you guys can meet him tomorrow okay?! now leave me alone"

both of you and kai clearly satisfied with her answer left her alone

"sounds good!" you said as you munched on some food

the two soon joined you in eating.

"where the hell are they?" you said as you sat next to kai "they said they'd met us here but they aren't here yet!" kai said back

"heya" a voice said from behind us

both you and kai turn around and are met with nai and two boys at her side, one who was annoyingly recognizable and the other who looked oddly familiar.

"the hell are you doing here?!" you both said in unison

"what? do you two know each other?" nai asked as she saw you two exchange looks

'tsukishima kei' you thought as you looked into his golden brown eyes

"how disgusting" he spat as he looked at you "WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT ME!" you yelled as you charged at him

"y/n calm down!" kai said as he held you back, tsukishima look down at you "feisty aren't ya?"

you rolled your eyes "cut it out tsukishima" a voice abruptly said making you look at him.

"if I'm not mistaken, you're karasuno's number 12?" you asked as your eyes met his.

"how'd you know that?" nai asked

"seijoh's manager.. seen you around" he said

"nice to meet you I'm l/n y/n!" you said held your hand out to greet him.

"god this is making me sick" tsukishima said as he took a seat at the table.

"yamaguchi tadashi" he said as he took your hand.

you leaned in and whispered in his ear "if you hurt her I'll kill you"

as you backed away you saw the unsettling face he had causing you to laugh

"what did you tell him!" nai said as she slapped your shoulder

"nothing important!" you said as you sat back down at the table across from tsukishima.

you made eye contact with him and quickly looked at away "heard you and the king finally got together"

you gave him a confused look "the shrimp went blabbing it to the whole world" he finishes saying

"that damn idiot! I'll kill him next time i see his ass" you burst out which surprisingly made him laugh

"never knew the uptight asshole was capable of laughing" you teased

he gave you a half smile and you returned it.

"I'm kai, her brother. I'm sure you've heard of me" kai said as he held his hand out

"yeah I have, nice to finally meet you" he said as he shook his hand

"imma go order you guys can settle in!" nai said as walked off

"so why'd you bring this loser with you?" you asked pointing your finger at tsukishima

"he's my best friend" yamaguchi answered

"sorry to hear that" you said looking back at tsukishima

"you disgust me" tsukishima said as he looked you up and down

"the feelings mutual beanpole" you said as you both exchanged smirks at each other

you laid on your bed, what an eventful night. you looked up at your phone and saw that you had received a message.

so yeah maybe Tsukishima wasn't all that bad, I mean yeah he was really fucking annoying but he was entertaining.

it's weird, he was the last person you thought you'd become friends with.

"let's exchange numbers dumbass" you said as you pulled out your phone. he didn't say anything but he reached for your phone and typed in his information.

he got up from his chair and before walking a way he said "don't text me" you smirked as you watched the beanpole exit the coffee shop.

you laughed as you remember everything that happened tonight. yamaguchi was a cool guy and I totally approved of him and I'm sure kai felt the same.

I'm glad nai finally found someone who will treat her how she's supposed to be treated.

I'm also glad I've made new friends.
